Did you updated by OTA, or by the dload method? Whitch version of Nougat you have?

yes, with dload method. and now i'm want to downgrade to marshmallow again..
Me too. Roolbak erreur
You have to download the rollback package from huawei support, install the update.app from the rollback with the 3 button method, it's around 100mb, or so. Then download the marshmellow firmware, install it with 3 button, then you will have 6.0. You probably won't have the themes, it can be solved with twrp, and flashing the eu (or the region of yours) cust package.
I did that , and now I have c900b170. everything works ok except themes .
if I install EVA-L09C432B136 through dload method, should everything work ok? I will be able to get later the ota nougat update?
Hello!
I have a P9 Plus that I wish to update from Marshmallow (L29C636B170) to Nougat (L29C636B362), but I am unable to because I keep on getting this message when I try to update...
http://i.imgur.com/2m7sV4I.jpg
"Software Install Failed!
Failed to check the update package.
Please download the package again".
I have tried using different firmware versions like B320 but the same error appears.
This phone used to have a custom TWRP recovery, but was returned to stock, and I fully unrooted my phone. I then use the Huawei Updater to send the package to HiSuite and find the firmware using Firmware Finder. I still have an unlocked bootloader however. Am I missing anything?
Cheers,

Try relock the bootloader.
How do I relock the bootloader? I tried using fastboot oem lock to relock but it says that the command isnt allowed.
just simply force update dload of update.app if you are in B170 then use update.app of B170 and force dload by push 3 button same time
Okay, it seems I have solved this question with the help of Mostar088 and itongx. Special thanks to them!
The first problem was that the firmware I had was to old to update to Nougat. I had to install L29C636B202 using HiSuite. This updates the firmware to B202. Updating to B202 makes it capable of upgrading to Nougat. So, I then install L29C636B370 to my phone using HiSuite and Huawei Updater. So far, I'm loving the update and none of my files were deleted, however, this doesn't mean you shouldn't back up.
Cheers.

Are you rooted or with TWRP?
hi i bought a l09 years ago and tried to root it and use custom firmware
this was not the succes i was counting on, so i rolled back a update.app
this worked fine but i kinda screwed it up, first i had emui 5.0 on it
but i managed to roll a b182 on it with emui 4.1.1,
i don't know how i did it or what my original software was but i can't find any update.app that will update it to 5.0 without an error
if any of you know how i can roll a 5.0 or higher on my phone i would cherish you always

b182 - this is not complete build name
Look into Settings / About and provide the full name/number of your build, like EVA-L09c900b182 or so
If your cust is c900 (as in my example), there are will be no updates
You must rebrand to c432 tpo get Nougat updates
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to upgrade my Huawei P9 Plus with Android 6 to Android 8.
Initially the phone had Android 7 and a Vodafone Branding, so I did a rollback to Android 6 and installed VIE-L09C432B161 and the VIE-L09C432B181 Firmware with changing the oeminfo to c432 with the SRK Tool.
Before I can rebrand the phone to AL10 with the Rebrand-Update-Tool-HWOTA7-P9-PLUS-VIE to install a Android 8 Firmware, I have to upgrade my phone again to Nougat with EMUI 5.
Unfortunately the OTA updates via the Update Manager are no longer available, so I tried to install different Nougat Firmwares via dload.
Every UPDATE.APP i tried fails at 5% or 37%
At the moment I have this B181 Firmware installed:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/vie-l09c432b181-vie-l09c432b360.4278905/#post-86382521
I also tried installing Nougat Firmwares with the HuRu Updater, but so far it didn't work.
Could anyone explain me please, what I have to do next to install a Android 7 Firmware successfully?
Thank you!
