swift keyboard battery drain - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Is swift keyboard still draining battery or they fixed it? Thanks

It never drained my battery yet again I don't use it

It's never drained battery for me.

Same here. Battery life on this thing (coupled with Franco's kernel) is pretty sweet. A keyboard app isn't going to cause much battery drain.

Battery life on 2.3.5

Anybody notice any changes as far as battery life. I just wanna know because im currently using a 1800 mAh battery (lost original battery) from ebay and they don't longer then stock. If you see any major changes i might just buy an OEM battery.
I did notice an increase in battery life when I upgraded to 2.3.5. I am a heavy user of my phone on a daily basis and it last about 5-6 hours longer from my experience.
Switching to V20p showed a very noticeable increase in battery life for myself.

The battery life has improved so much, I'm not getting the extended battery. Maybe a couple of regular batteries as the improvement easily takes my phone all day. Before update, it would only last 4-5 hours with usage.
I have to agree battery life has increased by quite a bit. My wife was getting severely pissed off at this phone because of battery life and other Froyo glitches and since updating she has yet to have any issues and stopped complaining about battery drain. Ahh the relief of not having to hear about how she hates the phone and wants it replaced Now lol. Hopefully we get to see ICS eventually, not that I am counting on it anytime in the near future and most likely not at all but still it's a nice thought lol.
better definitely. Not as good as the Rogers Samsung Galaxy S Captivate battery life though. Can't believe how much that one improved with the gingerbread update.
Had anyone else been seeing strange issues on the Rogers gingerbread update Ruth the battery stats? This morning after an hour off the charger battery was at 88% when viewing the battery usage it showed 15s on battery and that the only thing using it was the display and the percent was 165% I have a screen cap to upload later to show it.

Well, Im happy, before around 4 hours, now 5.

Mine is better
With moderate use* I went from 18 to 22 hours. I am happy...
* My N7 is not my daily driver, my pc still is... So it sits idle more often than not...
I'm totaly happy with the battery... getting at least a day and a half with normal use.
after updating its definitely drainng fast.
No drain here. I get 10-12 hours a day with heavy use and easily a day with moderate usage. Was roughly the same before update as well.

First of all hello everyone
Yeah I've literally only had my Nexus 7 a matter of a week but I can tell the difference between the battery per and post update. It seems go drain a lot quicker!
Any tips on how to save battery and keep it for as long as possible bar the obvious app killer etc...

If anything, mine has got slightly better. Used to have less than 18% by 8pm, now its more like 25%. I use it pretty much all day for YouTube, Engadget, Flipboard, Tapatalk, Chrome, music and a couple of hours of games.

happy ever after...Lowl I have same battery life here..no difference

4326mAh battery, 2A charger, 2.1 hours theoretically. Realistically, 2.5-3.0 if pretty much empty.
If you're using a non standard cable or charger, who knows what the charger is actually outputting. If you're charging from your computer USB Port, that's 500mAh, so 8.6+ hours. Some random phone charger, probably 1000mAh, 4.3+ hours, etc.
The brightness of the display adds to some of the drain I notice, when possible I keep mine somewhat on the dimside, obviously if I'm in an area of bright light and it hard to see then I'll crank up the brightness.
Can't complain about battery usage.. It's amazingly energy efficient even on a stock kernel considering the horsepower this thing has.. I average 20hrs or so with moderate to heavy usage.

I am very satisfied with battery life. 2 and a half days with 4,5 hours of screen on. IMHO not bad at all.
I'm getting 7.1hrs non stop. Games, movies, social apps, chats, YouTube literally non stop.

I think battery life is pretty good
I've had really bad drains since 4.1.2. I think I've narrowed it down to an issue with Google Play. I've noticed it several times - Very good battery life, but then it will go down fast, even when sitting unused. If I check battery usage, Google Play is always number one with >50% of the use.
If I force close GP, all will be well for about a day, but eventually it happens again.
I also felt it, but only by that much...not too obvious. From full charge, after only night idle, drop 3 percent compare to last time 1 or 2 percent

battery life
Hallo!
Same problem, battery drain is faster, with normal use 12 hours (before 17) and when charging phone it's just 99%. With factory reset same resoult. Now I try without all gps conections.
Anyone have good solution?

I Had the same issue with mine. Couldn't find anything causing the drain. In the end I got the samsung 3000mah battery and cover. A little bit thicker and heavier but man does the battery last way longer
Same here can't find the root of the problem
Got a external charger...

My battery life sucked till I installed boeflla v12.7a beta. I used to run out of battery each day with every other kernel I tried.
I'm now on v12 stable and battery life is still great. I have undervolted cpu and gpu by 0.25v and using pegasusq moderate governor.

Battery life on stock ics

I have Holoblur .9x and I find the battery life to be excellent.
I'm on stock ICS. I wasn't happy with battery life before the EB40 mod. I'm a light user and could barely make the day. Now, LTE, bluetooth and WiFi make a big difference, and I always have them on.
I agree with both previous comments. I'm in holoblur and I think the battery is pretty good too.
For the stock ICS, the batt life is not as great but you could use apps like Juice Defender to maximize the battery life.
(I use juice defender with holoblur for even better life.)

Ever since I did the MAXX mod, battery life has never bothered me on any ROM.
I suggest you do the same.
I keep my WiFi, LTE, GPS,Bluetooth on all the time nowadays and still easily get more than a days usage

I think that's just how HTC reports the usage, lots of things are rouped under the android system. Try using a battery monitor app to see what exactly is using up the battery
Like what app?

I use GSam battery monitor or better battery stats
Tried the better battery stats. Turns out the setup was using 93%, dealt with it, next drive took 92%. Now i did a factory reset.
