Hello,
I recently updated my hulu plus and now it's not working, the app crashes when the video starts loading. As mentioned in an old thread, the latest version that works is "2.19.3.202273". Can someone with another CM version confirm if the latest hulu update is working on the nook hd? The hulu version I'm using suffers from buffering issues.
I just installed CM and the Play Store won't let me even install Hulu. It says "your device isn't compatible with this version". Same message when I try to install the Nook eReader.
Very old reply but you need to download it from an individual websites which hosts apk files. The version I listed is the latest one that worked for me.

Hi there. I have the Nook HD+ that I recently installed CM11. I am trying to install Hulu Plus, but the Google Play store says my device is not supported. It was supported before with the original Stock firmware. Any suggestions?

Hulu has to be sideloaded. I did so by getting a download via downloader website which I think was this one -> http://downloader-apk.com/?id=com.hulu.plus
If that link doesn't work then go to:
http://downloader-apk.com/
Then put in "com.hulu.plus" without the quotes.
Then you need to enable "unknown sources" in android settings and finally install.
Hello All,
I have an HD+ with the latest CM11 nightly installed. Downloaded the latest version of Netflix from Google Play, and I get the infamous audio lag issue. I installed the netflix persist hack through CWM, and the lag still persists - rebooted a few times - no luck. I uninstalled Netflix, and sideloaded version 3.2.1-B1346, as mentioned here. But still no luck - same delay.
I know that there are lots of threads about Netflix and this issue, but I couldn't find a definitive answer regarding this device, with this MOD. Does anyone have a version that's working with no audio delay? Thanks!
The Hulu app on my HD+ running CM11 (and subsequently CM12.1) recently stopped working following an upgrade to a newer apk version. I have now been able to determine that the most recent version of the Hulu apk that would still work on CM11 is 2.19.3.202273 (downloadable from here).
Just thought I pass this info along to other Hulu users who might run into the same problem.
I have not gone back to re-flash CM12.1 on my HD+ to try this apk version on CM12.1, so it would be great if we have someone with a HD/HD+ running CM12.1 who can test it and report back here.
CM 14.1
This old post really helped me out. Installed CM 14.1 on my old Nook HD + and was hoping to now have an Android device that would let me take advantage of my Hulu Live TV account. Tried forever to get a Hulu app on my now reformatted Nook to no avail. At least with your link, I was able to get the Old Hulu + APK back and access archived content. Would love to find a way to access a newer version of the Hulu app with Live TV, but something tells me that even with my device running Nougat, it's just not going to work on the Nook HD +.
Hi
Trying to update sisters Nook HD.
TWRP installed fine over CWM.
Got the hummingbird 12.1 image from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nook-hd/development/unofficial-cm12-1-nook-hd-hd-2015-04-08-t3078260
Open gapps comes up with error when installing.
I saw a youtube vid which had success with gapps-1pmr1-20150324-signed.zip
That installed fine but no play store app only other play service apps were apparent, and an error of this device not being supported by play services kept popping up.
So i assume that the gapps im trying to install isnt good.
But ive tried 5 or 6 different gapps all with errors during installation.
Have searched but know explicitly states a gapps to install for hummingbird cm12.1
thanks for anyone who decides to point me in the right direction =)
EDIT: tried the other previous OTA image in the directory of that thread.
Seems to work with play store but the screen flickers and says 1% battery...
So I'm running an original Tab S2 8.0 with the last available stock Firmware update on Android 7 rooted. On the Play Store Disney + flags as incompatible however I was able to simply download and install the apk and it worked. I created an account etc but did not get around to streaming anything on the tablet just yet. Anyway now after updating the app. It just crashes after the main Disney + logo screen. Older versions don't crash but ask me to update. The current newest version 1.5.2 and it just crashes after the logo. I know it's flag is incompatible in play store but I don't see why that would be the case. I'm wondering if my root has anything to do with it. But the App was working fine for fact on version 1.4. just wondering if anybody here has had similar issues.
