I am using the preferred SIM settings to set what SIM to use for calls, but the setting is changing every time i do a reboot. I use option "ask every time" or "SIM1" and every reboot the setting is changed to "SIM2". Does any one have the same behavior?
Currently using LineageOS 14.1 - 20170213-NIGHTLY, but the issue was present on older builds, and even on CM14.1 builds.
After installing lineage-14.1-20170228 the issue is solved.
I still have a problem
lineage-14.1-20170131-nightly No problem.
The problem is constantly occurring in other builds ...

Hi all, in the beginning I thought it's a problem with my network/SIM card. For that reason I tried a SIM card from another carrier, but problem persists..
So, suddenly my phone would only lock on GPRS/EDGE and denied to go on HSDPA/3G/4G. Completely out of context at that time I thought to dirty flash a new nightly of the Carbon ROM that I had already downloaded, and the problem was solved!!! Booted in android, and boom connected to 4G..
It happened again during the following days, and every time a dirty flash of the next nightly would fix the issue. Without a logical explanation for my understandings, but it just fixed the problem.
Now, since yesterday, it is not recovering with the above technique so it's time to seek further into the issue! With your help of course

Just in case, did you checked your ''preferred network type'' by dialing *#*#4636#*#* ? It should be set to ''GSM/WCDMA/LTE AUTO''

Actually no, I was not aware of this setting.. WCDMA preferred is selected, and the option you suggested does not exist. You can see the screenshots for the options..
I have a Sprint One M8 Harmon Kardon edition. I'm running a recent CM 12.1 build (updating doesn't help). I have no mobile data at all. I can't even enable it, the switch is grayed out in settings. I've tried restoring to the latest stock OS, wiping, reflashing CyanogenMod, flashing the RUU, running a firmware update, etc. I feel like I've tried everything, I really want to keep CM on my phone. Some have suggested to me that this my be an APN setting issue, but as this is a CDMA model the menu is not present to edit these settings. Does anyone know what my issue is or how I can check my APN settings?
Thanks.
EDIT: It appears they fixed the toggle issue in the May 17 nightly, still no data. Must be an APN issue, no idea how to get to those settings.
EDIT 2: Added APN settings shortcut via Nova Launcher, not sure why that is hidden. But I added the APN settings for ispsn and cinet.spcs (for MMS/LTE). 3G and MMS now function, not sure about LTE, can't test that right now. It should work fine. Consider this solved!
I was on miui7 before switching over to Marshmallow CM13 . but now i am unable to switching between networks . It shows - LTE( recommended) but when i try to switch to 2g only or 3g only nothing happens . all i can observe is slight flicker and still its LTE (recommended)
I even tried *#*#4636#*#* method but only change i can make is to set it to unknown . nothing else gets selected .
I ven updated my rom thinking it might be release problem but problem still persists .
Current version - cm 13 - 20160107- nightly
I get no service often and it does not go away until i reboot my phone. I have tried the following but failed.
1) Unlocked bootloader and installed CynogenMod 13.
2) Installed Team Bliss Firmware
3) Updated Radio and Bootloader to S4UTL 49
4) tried the 4636 code and manually set the preferred network to LTE/GSM Auto and GSM Auto too.
5) Tried Different Sim Jack.
6) Tried different network sims.
7) Now i am back on stock rom 49 but issue persist.
Please provide me a solution or atleast give me an idea how do i make my system to reboot on no service automatically so that i dont miss important calls.
I believe this is a known issue with poor service areas.
Sadly I do not know a solution either.
When i use my sim in other phone it works fine and i have no such issues.just with driod turbo i am having this issue.
I, too, had this issue, but only when I went to the Brazilian MM ROM. I did not have that issue on stock LP (unlocked bootloader, Xposed).
the only thing different I did to help resolve it was I went into the developer options and set the "Aggressive to Cellular handover" to on. You may also want to see if "Cellular data always on" works as well. However, when I just checked this setting, it was set to off (but I had flipped it to on about a week ago, and I'm wondering if it defaults to off on reboot).
so see if one/both of those options works.
I switched both on let's see what happens.
try also to see if this happens after a phone call. I'm wondering if the lack of VoLTE is causing the issue. could some issue where the device thinks that there is a call connection when really not???
Same issue with me, When I Google I found this is common with Motorola mobiles but found no solution yet, Please help if any one have resolved it yet

My current MI5 with the RR Rom 7.01 has a problem that factory resetting or fulling reinstalling the ROM wont help. The screen always goes to sleep after 10 seconds no mater if i have change it in the settings.
Are you using the latest version of that particular RR rom? If so, you might want to check the developer forum for that ROM as it might be a bug also experienced by other users. If that's the case, you can either wait until the developer fixes it or alternatively switch to another ROM such as CM14.1
