[Q] s6 port roms for tmobile note 4

Hello everyone just wondering if there is any amazing developer that can possibly work on a s6 port rom for our device being that currently there isn't any type for our device would be truly appreciated if someone can work on it!

Not a true port but @TEKHD is incorporating S6 into his rom and I posted the corrected S6 images that can be used for COD6 or anyone's themes.

I believe he will be using them on the next update but since I am on his rom as well, let me know which mod version you are using and I will give you the file with the updated images. As in just stock or one of the mods like TEKXodus_URv3.3_N4_No_Traffic_SystemUI_TEKHD or TEKXodus_URv3.3_N4_No_Traffic_No_Clock_SystemUI_TEKHD.
Keep in mind that for the moment they are the stock green and not the themed versions as you see in his rom.

I'm using texkodus n4 ur vrs 3.3 multiedition

So just stock as the rom is installed with no mods used then. I will make that version and give it to you shortly.

If you meant you flashed the L-TEKXodus_URv3.3_S6_TW_SwitchON launcher mod then that is fine, this won't effect that.

Oh ok well I highly appreciate that because I think this is awesome rom and was upset when u said they were taking it down only issue is ocassional lag on lockscreen and thru screens but other then that it's good

Do you think there is anyway possible to get rid of the lag on the s6 port rom for my tmobile note 4??

It's still a very new port (basically a beta). I did not have any lag going from the v1 to the v2 but going from a note 4 rom to the s6 port I did, so you could try doing that. An alternate kernel helps too.
I promise we are fully aware of it and are working on it. We're still trying to pinpoint what is causing the lag (as it happens in the launcher & opening apps)... I'm thinking it has to do with the missing x64 files we can't incorporate. Or maybe there's something we're overlooking. Either way we are working on it... but there are ways to reduce it, as I said. It's a beautiful rom and we want to see it grow & improve. I'm sorry I don't have a quick & dirty fix for you buy I hope that helps explain where we are in terms of development.

I have searched and looked and I just havent found what I am looking for. Now I may be a minority on this I just want to have a ultra light rom that still is Touchwiz.
I am open to suggestions, I have tried to do it a few times myself and all I got was boot loops. Sorry for the newbness

Just do what I did use mega debloater it helped slim the rom down quite a bit. Plus ended up deleting more

I usually just go threw and clear data/cache and freeze everything I know I can safely. Just was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing something like this

just download the rom you want and delete all the apps you dont want from the zip before flashing, its what i do everytime to debloat

I have done that several times as well. Was hoping others would want something like this and we could get one of our great devs to make a ultra light rom for those of us who are looking for it.

Lol no dev is going to do that just for you or just a few people, it's not popular to debloat a rom completely as a lot of devs say it affects negatively

Can't stay rooted!! Can anyone help?

Hello, everyone. I'm having an issue on my G800H I can't get figured out. I'm no stranger to rooting, having rooted 15-20 of my own devices, but only 3 were Samsungs (two S5 Sports, and a Galaxy Admire). I've never had this problem with any Android, but I can't keep a Touichwiz OS rooted. I've rooted both 5.1.1 firmwares many times over the past month using both Supersu 2.50 and 2.66. I've never kept root for over 24 hrs. I've thought it may be a Knox issue, but even when I uninstall every Knox related app I can find, I still lose root. The Knox apps I'm aware of and uninstall are:
BBCAgent
Bridge
ELMAgent
KLMSAgent
KnoxFolderContainer
KnoxMigrationAgent
KnoxSetupWizardClient
KNOXStore
SecurityLogAgent
SwitchKnoxl
SwitchKnoxll
Maybe I'm missing a couple. I've tried with both the Russian kernel and with the Tardis Ultimate kernel. I've even tried returning to the stock kernel after rooting just because I wanted to try everything. I even tried the new beta apk!! I would use CM or BlissPop, but I can't stand my phone to not be fully functional and I can't stand navbars...but I can't stand losing root even more so I may use 1 of the 2. This morning, I even decided that I'd rather have Root than Lollipop, so I returned to 4.4.2 and rooted with SuperSu 2.4.6...a zip I've used many times on many phones without a problem. I lost root within 3 hours. If anyone has heard of this before or knows a solution, please help me out...I'm losing my patience with this phone, and I don't want to give up and sell it....

Flash twrp
Wipe>>advance wipe>>>check the data box
Now flash
steve's kernel
Flash su 2.50
Use the phone for more than 2 days see if it works correctly
If yes try to install one root app (x-plore for example)
Because I think there's an app that is causing this

I was thinking the same thing... So about the past 8 times or so I haven't even set it up. I only install busybox, kernel adiutor, and es file explorer. But I do use an older version of ES... And I do grant it root permissions, I use all the same app versions in my Zmax, too. I'll give it a try without granting root to anything and see what happens.

I'm on CM now btw. Stays rooted and getting used to the navbar.

I dont think gravitybox gives a triple press option, but you could probably do single press, double press and long press. Since they don't work, I turned off the capacitive backlights and fixed the native brightness slider, and now it may be time to try service on this phone.

I do like that the navbar puts the back and recent buttons back where I'm used to on other devices.

I fixed it by switching to CM. It bugs me bad to be defeated by Android though, so I'm sure to go back and try again...just not right now...lol. I'm enjoying CM. Not even noticing the RAM difference after raising the minfree values, but I haven't tried any serious multitasking yet, I don't think.

BTW, @sasukesama, I've read that this phone has the msm8226 and I've also read it has the msm8228. Well, the Zmax has the 8226 and it gets LTE. A friend who uses international phones said that to enable LTE on them, you have to add some 2 letters to the end of the APN. I will ask him about it later when he wakes up and I'll post back unless you already know about this and it didn't work.

Hahaa! Home button wake has as always bugged me about Samsungs . Since I have a navbar, I disabled the home and both capacitive keys. I'm so happy to be having fun with this phone again! Now it won't waste battery turning on in my back pocket.

Yes, I can try, but building PAC for the Nexus 7 was easy because it was a supported device for that source. I haven't even begun to learn what it would take to port it to an unsupported device. I can't even get a kernel to build without errors with a configuration I know is working.... Yet.

Can this zip be flashed with TWRP? Coz last time I tried flashing MIUI zip through TWRP, it said that there was some compatibility issue between the software i.e. MIUI zip and the hardware, which is my phone redmi 2 1gb Indian retail.

Tbh, nothing excited me. I installed it (previously was on NucleaROM) and while it was downloading I was thinking that I'll be losing my Google Assistant but if the rom is great then it is worth losing it. After using the rom for like 6 hours, I found out only battery life is great, and this rom is really not worth losing the Assistant. So came back to NucleaROM!

Actually I just read somewhere that currently, only Germany has the update. I'm going to guess this may change soon.
Also, I read that Samsung is working on a v. 2.5, be released later this year. For which units, though, remains a mystery.

I think we won't get 2.5 as it will come after the 2 years have passed since the Note 9 was released.

Samsung said they'll include it in the OneUI 2.5. That's actually the only feature we know about 2.5 so far.

I'm still hoping that since the Note9 came with Android Oreo and it has Treble it could get 2.5 at least if not Android 11 (which I'm 99% sure it won't get).

I can't add any app to sleep mode since one ui 2. It still doesn't list any app in 2.1 even in deep sleep. It shows only OneDrive but no other. Do you know why?

I have the Galaxy S9 and I'm waiting for OneUI2.1.
I'm curious if there's any camera improvements especially in night mode ?

isn't German DBT same as BTU ? As i flashed DBT on my Tab S6 and BTU stayed on system i'm just downloading the German DBT for my Note 9!
