Hi there! Is it possible to flash xiaomi.eu rom over resurection remix rom (or any LOS based rom) with twrp or do i have to fastboot flash china rom first and modified boot.img as written on xiaomi.eu forum ?
You don't need to do anything. Just do a clean flash.
Ok so a simple factory reset and flash latest xiaomi.eu would work? Why they ask to flash boot.img on eu forums?
They said you don't need to flash boot.img anymore. I even wipe /system manually.
yes you can. just don't wipe system. wipe only Data, Dalvik cache & cache before flashing eu rom.

And if you wipe system , your phone will be on bootloop.
Thx to all, did a factory reset and install xiaomi.eu without issue
I have created an automated list of the Oreo nightly builds, so you can go to check the latest one whenever you want, and get download link and changelog link.
https://funkyhuawei.club/mimix2builds
This has a full index of all Oreo builds, and is updated every six hours.
I can't offer any support or any guarantee it will stay up, or that the links will work, or that it will continue to find new builds, but so far it works.
It helps a lot! Thanks!

Very very thanks to U.....

Ive noticed on first install it wont boot. So to fix this, wipe data in twrp, flash rom first than let it boot to system without flashing magisk. Than connect to pc and flash oreo twrp again because twrp replaced with stock recovery. Than follow below instructions.
Also I've noticed sometimes you need to flash magisk 14.5...2 times for it to boot.
Oreo twrp 3.2.1.0

install Oreo beta in twrp. Reboot back into twrp. Than flash magisk 14.5. it's the only one that will boot for me. Than reboot.
magisk 14.5

What is the procedure for installing these ROMs. I tried before to install twrp, format data, copy rom from PC, flash rom and magisk. But when I go to boot up it just reboots on the "mi" screen twice and goes to recovery.

Haven't tried to flash without magisk, but would it make sense? Seems most people I have read are able to do so. Formatting data only with the Oreo twrp correct?

Yeah don't need to flash magisk but will loose Oreo recovery.
Regarding flashing them, an alternative to using twrp is flashing with fastboot -- If there is interest I might make a tool to help with that.
Just installed latest Build.
Runs super fluid, no major issues so far.
Just noticed that some settings in Chronos causing a force close, nothing too important.
And iphone X gestures are goddamn awessome!
FYI new build is up. 8.1.18 -- check link in original post for download link. Changelog just mentions stability fixes.

I am unable to alter the brightness on the Oreo TWRP. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
is dirty flash possible? Or via update function in miui?
Or do I have to setup the mix2 new every time?
(Just ask before flashing new build)

0. I would recommend To Format Data completely and copy the files from your PC to the Phone then
1. Flash boot.img as boot img and vendor.img as vendor.img in TWRP
2. Flash the OxygenOS ABGSI as System Img
3. wipe Data
4. Flash FBE Disabler
5. Flash permissiver2 (don't know if this is nessesary but it did it)
6. Flash the Latest Hex Kernel by Draco
7. Flash Magisk
8. Reboot
And don't forget to wipe cache and dalvik always

Is possible I think, before change to pie, make sure .zip file of pie must include kernel. I guess recommend flash via miui recovery / TWRP and wipe data. Because update different version of Android, 8.1 to 9.0
I never try Pie because my Arb=4. U can try, if bootloop you can flash this stable version again

What will be ARB level after installing this MIUI 10.2.3 or 10.2.5 ODCCNXM ROM?
Currently I have MIUI stable stock ROM 9.6.6.0. If I upgrade it to 10.2.5.0, than can I downgrade to MIUI stable 9.6.60 again?
Thanks

1) Opened TWRP and format data. Reboot system
2) Opened TWRP and format data. Reboot to TWRP again. Reboot to system
3) Opened TWRP and format data. Reboot to TWRP again. Flash magisk. Reboot to system
All has same affect. and TWRP asks password again and again.

Your Data partition can mount in TWRP?
if TWRP ask password, probably because install TWRP with active password lockscreen in system. When install recovery make sure deactive lockscreen pasword first
Try this recovery: https://sourceforge.net/projects/pitchblack-twrp/files/wayne/

Everything is given there, just read and follow install instructions:
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/9-4-18.50189/
Get TWRP 1102 or 1217 to flash the EU rom and install 1227 version once new rom is flashed but before reboot system.
That means when eu rom installation will finish, then I should reboot to fastboot instead of reboot to system? And then again flash twrp 1227?

For WEEKLY EU DEV rom installed with1102/1217 twrp:
if you reboot to system the rom will install well but you loose TWRP 1102/1217. AND you will not be able to reflash the new one because partition are modified with this new rom version ''(from 2018/12/27).
That' why you must install 1227 before rebooting in the rom system.
Either with fastboot or in recovery you are still in... install 1227 image.

EDIT: THIS IS ONLY IF YOU INSTALL WEEKLY EU DEV ROM!
for stable you MUST keep 1102 and you can reboot dry.

Give this method a try. I followed these steps with the help of @lolo9393
Following are the procedures that i followed to boot up Miui Eu
- Flash official 8.12.13 (Dev Fastboot Rom) through MiFlash.
- Flash TWRP 1102
- Clean Data
- Push/ Copy and Flash 8.12.20( EU Rom), it booted up finally without redirecting to Fastboot.
- Update 8.12.20 to latest available from system updater.
- Now there won't be any recovery or we aren't able to enter into available recovery even though the system boots.
- Flash TWRP 1227.
need help, I tried to flash ROM eu 9.5.23 using 9.2.16 dev ROM as the base. twrp used 1227 and after rebooting enter fastboot mode.
twrp 1102 and 1217 do not want to enter recovery only the MI display
