The fmradio app does not allow installation.

Change Emoji Type

Is there a way to change the emoji type? I'm not a fan of the standard weird shaped face one.
I've only had the phone a week so not looking to root yet, especially as is work phone. I usually just flash an emoji pack or LOS ROM to fix but obviously out of the question at the moment.

I have tried the app huawei theme and downloaded the Oreo-emoji and got it to work on my p10 only when using the English language

You can try to make an own theme with the Theme Maker from Play Store. You can add fonts, so it should be possible to add an emoji font.
If this won't work you need root for replacing the emoji font.

Download the huawei theme app from play store and in there u can choose to download emoji and themes and things

Once your emoji font has been set, you can change your theme to one of your choice, that does not contain another font, of course. ?

To see all the emojis, you can try restarting your device, but if that doesn't work, you will need to clear your keyboard's data.
Also, depending on the keyboard you're using, it might not support all the new emojis yet.

I kindly ask a friend who owns a P20 to check (if it is possible) whether in P20 scrollable widgets, other than Huawei or Google widgets, are updated normally.
In my Mate 10 Pro scrollable widgets stop being updated after a while, so I was wondering whether in version 8.1 running in P20 this is still a problem or not.

Not all, Agenda Widget fails after some time just leaving "Loading" in the place of events (Using Nova Launcher) so I'm unsure if it's a Nova issue or a EMUI issue, will try on other launchers.

This is actually bad news. I was hoping that version 8.1 of EMUI in P20 would fix the issue I am facing in my mate 10 pro running version 8.0 of EMUI

This bug is the number one reason why i wont buy this phone sadly. I like it, but this is a no go. And since this bug is known for many months now i dont think Huawei will fix it in the near future...

Sorry for you, it was driving me mad..........I did a cache wipe after the install maybe that could help?

Seems like it is a bug with EMUI. The developer for Calendar widget pushed out a new version with a potential workaround fix for the widget on Huawei devices, but it still seems to not work correctly.

That hole is for 2nd mic to use while you talk to someone by speaker phone.
It happened to me too to poke this whole instead of sim slot.

Notification panel icons not changing anymore
Idk what happened. The icons in notif panel aren't changing with changing themes anymore. The icons idk are set to default and don't change but color of notif panel changes. Help

Does anyone know why I can't use my honor 10 as a hotspot to connect my xbox 360 to.
I've tried resetting to default settings on the xbox and reconnected. It connects to the device but not the Internet.
I've never had any problems using any other device to connect although this is my first huawei product.

Honor 1p lite no service
My honor 10 lite gets service on my booster in truck and we're service is available but my booster in my house it want get service but my honor 7 gets perfect service on it.. 10 is perfect besides at home any suggestions?

Anyone can help me for rooting my Huawei Honor 10? It's very difficult to find the right tools.
I have try it with Kingroot, SuperSu ect...but nothing works.
If I root my phone with a external device, I'm using a Mac.

I think my phone has a bug.due to which it got dead although it had more than 60℅ battery and now a red notification light is blinking what should I do to wake this device..??

Android Auto - small screen/no fullscreen with Skoda Octavia 3 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

Hey all,
I haven't found a thread reporting the same or even a similar problem, so I hope this isn't a repost. I recently got the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and am quite satisfied with the phone.
However, when I tried to connect it to my Skoda Octavia 3, I was very disappointed.
I can't seem to get Android Auto to be run in fullscreen on the car screen.
I have already activated developer options in Android Auto and set screen size to "up to 1080p" and other screen resolutions, but to no avail.
Here's what it looks like in the car:

What is even worse: The touch map seems to refer to the full screen of the car screen, meaning touch entries most of the time register with a different button/area of Android Auto that is displayed at the touch location.
Does anyone know a way to fix this?

What Android version do you have on your phone? If 9 (Pie), then you could try uninstalling AA and reinstalling it. If you Android 10, then this is not possible.

My Android Version is 10 QKQ1, with MIUI Global 11.0.12 on the Mi 10 Pro. So I guess uninstalling AA won't be possible.
If I understand your linked post correctly, the fault is with the car manufacturer? I.e. Skoda in this case? That sounds like it's not going to be fixed anytime soon or at all.

Unfortunately…… But first I would check to see what is the car's display resolution. AA should work fine up to 1080p. The infotainment system in your car is genuine, that is, is it factory installed? If yes, than it might be a firmware update out there. Ask your dealer if he knows something about this issue.

This probably won't help but have a Mi A1 with a Skoda superb (looks like same unit). Phone was a rooted 9.x ROM, I had loads of connectivity issues.c(not screen res. though)
Installed a non stock 10.x and it works fine.
Have you tried another phone?
Check the version running on the head unit. Briskoda forum may help with updates for that.

It worked fine with my previous phone, Samsung Galaxy S8 and with a friend's Galaxy S7.
I don't know how to check head unit version. But when I check with my VIN on the Skoda Update portal, there are only map updates and radio station logos available, no updates for headunit firmware

Same problem here, it seems not to be related to the head unit but to Xiaomi, as my head unit is Bosch which works fine with other android phones but scales down with my Mi note 10 lite
