go to themes then go to customize and click on lockscreen and change it :good:

You need to Select All The Apps for WHom Ya Need the Notifications not a single apps ...... maybe some apps dont support this feature or have been closed . i.e Killed

Can you NOT capitalize every single word? good guide by the way.

Okay with your help I've managed to get whatsapp on there but it seems that's the only one. I've changed the settings for gmail for instance but that doesn't show up weirdly enough...

That's the one thing I want there too (besides the music player and preferably rocket player)

Notification Details
I have enabled the notification on screen but how do i make the app show the content?
For example, whatsapp do show the content of the message if it's only 1 msg but when it hits 2, I cant see the content anymore.
Is there a way to enable it?

Date Picker in Android Nougat

I have got my P9 updated to Android 7/Nougat.
On Android 6, the date-picker and time-picker, that I mostly meet in Google Keep, was a calender and a analog clock. On Android 7, it is spinning wheels.
Those spinning wheels are not working well whith my way to use the phone. Does anyone know if they are default on Android 7 or just on the Huawei version ?
And does anyone know, if there is a way to change the default picker from the wheel to a calender and a clock ?

Same trouble with Honor 8 even in newest firmware B381 .

Yep, both on Honor 7 and 8 there is the same disgusting spinner stuff. It takes five time longer to set a reminder with these... I guess it's Huawei related but it would be great to change to analog time picker.
Update: Sorry, wrong info. Currently on Honor 7 / Android 6.0, the normal date picker and time picker are used. Honor 8 / Android 7.0 is still problematic.

I have the same issue with my huawei gt3. It is absolutely barbaric to go back to spinners, But I have not been able to find a way to change this.

I do not have the same problem on my P10 Lite. I have the analogue clock, and not the spinner, thank goodness!

Yes, I'm using the latest version of Google Keep (my screenshot was of the time-picker in Google Keep). [emoji4] I can't see your image though.
Also, I have the Vodafone firmware (C02B120).
For the record, I hate the wheel as well! It's incredibly infuriating to use!
EDIT: I just checked on my Samsung GT-N8000 running KitKat, and I have the wheel on Keep. [emoji85]

Honor 8: still annoying spinners instead of wheels to choose time and date. Nö Change since 2 Updates...

Same problem on my Honor 9 (B130) with EMUI 5.1.
Picking a date is a nightmare in Google Calendar and Keep. Is there a way to let the devs at Huawei/Honor know? I already tried the feedback option in Huawei´s HiCare app but got no response.

Also having the same issue on my Honor 8 running EMUI 5.0.1. Choosing times and dates on this phone makes me so frustrated!

I hate this spinner in Honor 6X with Android 7. The view of date and time picker can be changed in AndroidManifest.xml file of the needed application. For Calendar it is needed hack it's AndroidManifest.xml and change inside it to:
android:timePickerMode="clock"
android:datePickerMode="calendar"
But it is not very simple do that. Calendar app must be unpacked by apktool, and then packed back after change. To install on phone it must be signed. That means - anybody can change Calendar app for personal use but he cannot distribute it. This will violate copyright. If anybody here is familiar with AndroidManifest.xml hacking then please try change first. Then if it will be successful please give us detailed step-by-step guide.

Android Auto - small screen/no fullscreen with Skoda Octavia 3 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

I haven't found a thread reporting the same or even a similar problem, so I hope this isn't a repost. I recently got the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and am quite satisfied with the phone.
However, when I tried to connect it to my Skoda Octavia 3, I was very disappointed.
I can't seem to get Android Auto to be run in fullscreen on the car screen.
I have already activated developer options in Android Auto and set screen size to "up to 1080p" and other screen resolutions, but to no avail.
Here's what it looks like in the car:

What is even worse: The touch map seems to refer to the full screen of the car screen, meaning touch entries most of the time register with a different button/area of Android Auto that is displayed at the touch location.
Does anyone know a way to fix this?

What Android version do you have on your phone? If 9 (Pie), then you could try uninstalling AA and reinstalling it. If you Android 10, then this is not possible.

My Android Version is 10 QKQ1, with MIUI Global 11.0.12 on the Mi 10 Pro. So I guess uninstalling AA won't be possible.
If I understand your linked post correctly, the fault is with the car manufacturer? I.e. Skoda in this case? That sounds like it's not going to be fixed anytime soon or at all.

Unfortunately…… But first I would check to see what is the car's display resolution. AA should work fine up to 1080p. The infotainment system in your car is genuine, that is, is it factory installed? If yes, than it might be a firmware update out there. Ask your dealer if he knows something about this issue.

This probably won't help but have a Mi A1 with a Skoda superb (looks like same unit). Phone was a rooted 9.x ROM, I had loads of connectivity issues.c(not screen res. though)
Installed a non stock 10.x and it works fine.
Have you tried another phone?
Check the version running on the head unit. Briskoda forum may help with updates for that.

It worked fine with my previous phone, Samsung Galaxy S8 and with a friend's Galaxy S7.
I don't know how to check head unit version. But when I check with my VIN on the Skoda Update portal, there are only map updates and radio station logos available, no updates for headunit firmware

Same problem here, it seems not to be related to the head unit but to Xiaomi, as my head unit is Bosch which works fine with other android phones but scales down with my Mi note 10 lite

Is there any way to remove SHOW TOUCHES option in IN-BUILT Screen Recorder app in RM3..?
Red Magic Time records 3-4 games only including PUBG, but how to record COD mobile.. although inbuilt screen recorder app supports 720p with internal sound... But that touch points it shows are very irritating.. You can see that in attached file circled in black.. can anyone help me out in this?

I think you can disable it in /data/data/cn.nubia.supersnap/shared_prefs/cn.nubia.supersnap_preferences.xml
I'm not sure if it works tho.
If it doesn't work check out "Screen Recorder", it allows recording at FullHD and Support internal Audio Recording if you install the Magisk Module.

He can pull up supersnap settings through the activity shortcut as well then, the method is the same the door is differemt, but he must pull up supersnap settings or use a different recorder

Simply follow updated instructions for A9 in my last post. Or upgrade off A9, Nubia abuses strandhogg on A9. PURPOSEFULLY ENDING SUPPORT THE MONTH BEFORE STRANDHOGG IS PATCHED.

Nice thread.. but i am unable to root my device as well. To root rm3, i have to port chinese rom first, and that's too not working for me, tried multiple times, and evertime it says DEVICE CAN'T BE TRUSTED and it doesn't boot then, it would be appreciated if you can guide me how can i port chinese rom in my device. I am on android 9 v1.21, indian variant..
And 1 more thing i would like to know here, does android 10 in built screen recorder record at 1080p? Because in android 9 it can record upto 720 p only..

Labs is not available anymore or just not for the Tab A. So can't even try this.

Is there any solution yet? My old mother uses the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab tablet. She was confronted with the new feature a few days ago and asked me to undo this new look.
She complained about:
1. Not opening sent pictures in full screen anymore and
2. A keyboard which was opened at the right site screen which is now a lot smaller. My old dad has Parkinsons and even with a stylus pen it is difficult to type in the smaller spaces.
Is there any way to disabe this split-view function or go back to a previous version without it (as a second emergency option)?

So the only way I got it to work is to go to settings -> screen zoom -> increase size. This will make everything else a bit big too, but it works.

My father is also suffering this annoying new feature... I hope that many other users are feeling the same so they let us select the view we want to use or anyone develops a solution
