This is my J Dark Ice theme, works with Lineage OS 14 (vers 02/13 and older)
also tested with Tesla Rom, and Pure Nexus (on the Nexus 6P)
Works great on current AICP
Color Choices available -- Ice Blue (default) -- Ice Gold -- Ice Jade -- Ice Mint -- Ice Pink -- Ice Purple -- Ice Silver

Color choice is under Android System...You must install Android System if you want the other apk's to theme.
--3 Signal style choices under SystemUI
You must have Substratum installed (get from play store)
MAKE SURE that you enable permissions for Substratum or you will get Apk could not be signed messages
If you are having problems with Substratum not changing themes properly, you should probably be checking the substratum forum
One thing they are saying helps on the newer versions of Nougat is to :
1) go to Settings--Google--Security--Verify Apps and turn everything off
2) go into Developer Options--UnCheck verify apps over usb
This is a almost ready to go to the play store version, I am looking for useful comments for problems that may be evident.
Warning: when using with 2/13, no problems...when using with newer version of lineage, removing the theme or changing might put you in a boot loop, this is a known issue with Substatum

For matching icons, I recommend using my J Blue Ice Icons with Nova Launcher (See signature)
This is a dark theme, Wallpapers are included to use in the theme, I use the first one "carbon dark" (it looks black, but has a pattern when enlarged)
Don't forget that some apps have an option to choose a dark theme, you should switch to that when possible,
for instance the Default keyboard will originally show up much lighter, choose the material dark option and you get
what you see in the picture attached

I just discovered this theme in the Playstore and am thrilled to have it back - I used to love the golden CM theme. My absolute favorite part is the boot animation though, as a cat lover I LOVE that tiger and am so happy to have it back.

Have you tried nova launcher? it is a favorite one that I use,
Thanks. I hadn't. I was hoping to be able to get the launcher that came with the ROM to behave, but I'm having a look at it....
It seems promising, but I can't see any way to stop it lighting the screen up almost white, when I drag an app from the app drawer - even after setting the background to black. I've tried putting my hand over my eyes, but it's hard to see where I'm putting it then

Thanks for this unique theme! I'm using it on a Nubia phone with RR rom. Works nice with the red notification light.

Several people who have Oreo on their phone have indicated that it works just fine on their phones.

I do not know, I do not use Whatsapp,
an overlay is included for Whatsapp, but Whatsapp continuously changed their application with, what would appear, a clear intention of stopping people from theming it. In addition Whatsapp rolls out their changes very slowly so that there can be up to 3 different versions active at the same time.
The amount of time it takes to keep up with Whatsapp is too much to keep on top of it.

I modified only colors and some little things, because i want leave it fast like original, but if many people want it in next days i can try to add advanced launcher and different lockscreen (i don't know if i'm able to do this)

I'd also suggest keeping this theme lean & simple. aLauncher and different lockscreens should be available as optional modules.

i made this theme to my gf, and she was using it since feb,
now i asked her if i can share it and yes it's fine for her, so my girl users of hue can enjoy the hello kitty as well
and since this was based on Hue, every app themed in Hue were already themed here
so most likely its most likely complete for an "initial release" theme

You should reboot when updating or applying a new theme.
Well done kroz my girl loves pink.
You should consider making the mms text white. It can be a bit hard to read even on the default background.

I did reboot like 5 times lol, but nothing fixed it, so I re installed the rom and now everything is perfect again.

regarding mms text, i will check on that which one is more readable,
black text seems to be fine on pink background as we have in op screenshots,

No is not fine yet... when I go back to the stock theme its good but when I use the new update of Hello kitty everything stops.. ugh and the bad thing is that I deleted the first update you gave me Nooooooooooooo I am screwed!!!

Yes I am still on Rootbox, and it was the one via email. I unchecked the dark rootbox and all the sudden everything is bad, I do not know what it is tho. I am kinda freaking out.

Kroz, seriously! This is one of my favorite themes ever! I already loved Hue Pink but this is amazing! I didn't think He could very better but it did! So much is themed, Hello Kitty themed! I can't even tell you how happy this is making me and about a million other girls (at least on XDA) too! Great job! So love this!

You dont like the eyepiercingly bright white icons in KitKat's system status area? You don't like them either in quicksetting and you hate the new pale orange that can be seen there? You want back some good old Android Holo Blue?
Here's the solution:
This Theme Chooser theme brings back some of our beloved Holo Blue to CM11 (should also work for the other major KitKat Custom ROMs as far as they implement Theme Chooser. The specific icons are already included in my theme!).
It's a minimalistic theme. It only themes the system status area and the quicksettings and doesn't disturb the pure AOSP look.
Back to holo blue are:
Signal, WiFi, Bluetooth (when connected), Clock and Battery icon in system status area. Here I use the brightest possible version #39CAFF for better contrast on the transparent status bar and because the icons get reduced in brightness by the system when displayed on a black status bar.
BringBackSomeHoloBlue.apk: Signal, WiFi, Bluetooth and Cast in Quicksettings. Here they turn to standard Holo Blue #33B5E5, when fully connected.
BringBackMoreHoloBlue.apk: Everything that was blue in Quicksettings on 4.3 Jellybean is blue again.
All bright white icons in these areas where reduced in brightness to the standard Jellybean level #CCCCCC.
All icons stay original KitKat. They only got carefully color and alpha channel tuned by me.
The new scheme in quicksettings with outlined dark grey icons when inactive and bright filled icons when active stays untouched.
"Plus" versions also revert the overscroll glow back to JB holo blue color and style.
Contains icon sets for MDPI, HDPI, XHDPI and XXHDPI devices.
Icons for RTL languages (Hebrew, Arabic etc.) are also included.
Knowns issues:
This doesn't install on devices running ART instead of Dalvik. ART doesn't accept modded APKs that are not buillt from source. Any help on this topic will be much appreciated.
Edit: I got a report that it keeps working when you install under Dalvik and then switch back to ART.
Battery and clock color only get changed in newer nighlies of cm11. There is a bug in CM11 regarding the circle battery. The grey (in fact it's translucent white) full ring is actually drawn over the indicator ring segment instead as an underlay. This makes the color of the ring look brighter and less saturated. I already opened an issue on CM11 bugtracker. Hope they fix it soon.
Installation: Download and install the APK. Go to Settings/Themes and activate it - voilà - you get back some Holo Blue.

Changed the the touch highlight color of the dropdowns (notifications and quicksettings) from #AAAAAA to #CCCCCC too.

When using dalvik it is working and I can add the theme ................ could you add direct ART support??
All in all it´s awesome, that you made this App ........... I don´t like the light white KK icons .. terrible

This is exactly what I wanted, thank you! I miss the holo blue status bar but could only find themes that overhauled everything to a shade of blue.
Is there any possibility of theming the pulldown bar on the notification drawer to holo blue like in jelly bean?
I like it like it is, coz in the pull down menu the orange is changed in blue.... Thats better than before and better than in jelly bean

ART doesn't accept APKs like this that are not compiled from source, but are made from a precompiled template with apktool.
I tried to sign it with a private key instead of the android test key, but doesn't work either.
Sorry about that. No solution at the moment.

I made a second version called "Bring back more Holo Blue" that reverts everything in the Quicksettings back to blue that was blue in 4.3 Jellybean.
Download on first post.
It doesn't work for me. I can't install it (Nexus 4, ROM Nexus 5 Experience based on CM11, android 4.4.2, dalvik).

Installs without problems in my Nexus 7 2013.
Maybe again a problem with signing the APK. I signed the second one with a private key.
I will sign it with Android test keys an post it later today.

-Why is there an alert message saying my phone resolution isn't compatible with this theme ? (with Nexus 5)
-Are you planning to do a "Bring back full holo blue" ? In jelly bean, the light when we "overscrolled" (I don't know how to say it) was blue, but now, with Kitkat,, it's white... I know there are many other things, but I can't remember what...
-And, the "3G, H+, etc..." icon next to the signal bars was white in JB, and you make it blue

Unfortunately, there is a little problem getting system notification requesters with it.
Some of them will have black font on nearly dark grey backgrounds.
BTW: Theme Editor works good for EMUI 5.
It is a problem notifications of individual applications. Some have white font, some black font. The bubble is therefore gray, both fonts can be read.
BTW, I dont create the themes in the application Theme Editor, I create them manually.

I was looking for a black emui theme, and yours is the first that i accepted on my device.
Your Total Eclipse theme (to support) was a shure buy, but i don't like it because it has no color .
Can you make a second one with same color as Pure Dark 5?
In the past i tried a black and white theme and found out that when used in sunny light i had very hard time seeing what i was doing. And because of this past experience I avoid to test another black and white/gray theme on my device. I like the green neon color of your pure dark 5.0 theme..
so i ask again : Can you do a Eclipse theme but with green neon color???

Can you maybe change the Power, restart and emergency mode theme in the next update? Not really needed but it will be really nice
And theres a little bug on the dark theme when installing apk files the screen turns white
Can you change the signal indicators to be like in the original Samsung?

When i open whats app the statue bar becomes white and nothing in it appears and also every thing is blue colour and the tick icon also is too blue
And blue in every app
