Thank you to everyone!

Just wanted to say thank you all the hard working devs here. I recently got a Xoom tablet and looked all over the net for good support and info on this tablet. This was the only place I found that had solid info, well explained and easy to understand. I less then a half hour I had it rooted and icecream running like silk!
I know the job you guys is a thankless job...no pay people always asking for more. So I just want you guys to know that we do appreciate it!

...most dumb post I've ever seen in the last months.
I really trying to raise the user experience of users by spending a lot of time and effort in those mods....and I'm doing a lot of mods as you can see in my signature.
Well you can believe it or not, I dont just spent hours on those mods, more like days and weeks. On my leedroid tweaks project even months.
..and I'm doing this for fun and SHARE it with YOU for FREE!
So what the problem when I just put one rule up for DEVS and THEMERS to wait a t least on week before including it?
On that way I can ensure some activity in my threads and not to lose all users by day one, because all are kanging me on day two?

Look at yourself, too much ignorant7dumb users here just leechicng stuff without beeing able to eben thank a dev for therer time spending in their projects.

Dumb? Asking people to wait a week to get permission to use your work and you call me dumb? Yea request they ask your permission and give you credit for your hard work but wait a week! Man people like you is what's wrong with xda and no dumb leechers in here. The guy posted and stated it wasn't his work and direct linked to your thread. No problem with that at all. All he did wrong was provid file on download. He was tryna to help not leech. There is a major difference

And before you guys start moaning about this being abandoned please remember that you can always grab it from the OP thread and flash yourself. I have flashed both manually and they work great. Just grab them from the Sensation thread. Not natively made for XL but it works.

What **** did you develop for me to play with dude? How many chefs are there on xda providing Roms for how many devices! Chefs are not gods mate as without us mere users there would be no need for chefs. One can't go without the other. This is your worst post on here as well! Know your place dude for real! I don't have an attitude, and develop my rom for my pleassure....
I don't need users, this is made to make MY phone look nice, and if other people like it, they are free to use it.

lol if you didnt need users why be a dev on here and make your rom public? you would just keep it for your own private consumption period. the mere fact it is here on xda means you crave that following that comes from users liking your work and thanking you for it! i like your work but wont kiss ass because i do! if you posted something i didnt like id tell you same way! you must have had people who didnt like your work but you didnt stop all dev cause of it did you? we are adults in here and this childish attitude is not acceptable.

But we are NOT all adults here, and English is for a lot NOT there native language...
So the way you write down your opinion is very delicate.
I respect you for what you do for the community, even if your not called a dev.

Migrating to the GSIV Forums

Hello, everybody, RegnierD here. As an RC, I just wanted to let the SIV family know that when my phone arrives in the mail this weekend, I will be joining you. I try to watch as many different threads as I can to help people with questions and problems they may be having on their device. That being said, I cannot see keep track of everything going on, so if anyone, from n00bs to Senior Members, need help with anything, feel free to PM me and I will be more than happy to help you to my full extent, which may not be much, but it's certainly enough for troubleshooting.
I have yet to develop my own rom so I'm not much help there for any aspiring developers, but I am comfortable with making small mods to framework files as well as drag and drop theming in decompiled apks. I am also willing to help users teach themselves how to do this. There are many comprehensive guides all of the internet on how to do so, but sometimes having a person with which to speak is helpful.
That is all. I just wanted to give a short introduction and let the community know that there is help out there if they need it! I'm very excited for this phone, and I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I'm sure I will.

So us user's who like to contribute to the Theme's and APP's sections could ask u for help regarding tweaks, mods and theming?
Why not make a IRC channel?

Like XDA But On Steroids

Hello everyone,
I've been pondering over some project to divert my time on and well recently I've begun to notice the somewhat unorganized mess XDA has become. So I thought of the fabulous idea of creating a new website made strictly for ROMs, Kernels, Rooting, & Unlocking Bootloaders. The website would have separate sections for each device, then differing versions of the device, then for android version, and then finally for type of development. For example AT&T Galaxy S3 CM12 rom would be found under Galaxy S3>AT&T>Lollipop>Roms>Cyanogenmod 12.
Get it? Super organized, super easy to find things.
What do you guys think? Is this something worth investing my time in? Or should I just give u on this little project? Be brutally honest please. After all there is no point on building a website that nobody will ever use.

Your biggest issue is people dont really leave xda. Developer wise most are keen to stay here because support and friends are here i imagine. Also logistically trying to support even half the phones xda does and have it so organised into just what the phones are compatible with, along with paired Q&A + general threads would be immensely time consuming and would require more than a few people to keep up with the flow. Not even considering user mistakes with roms added in the wrong forum. While it would be a good idea i wouldnt attempt it. The mods are always willing to listen to new ideas to help keep the forums tidy though. Maybe try help out closer to home?

Someone has already linked you, ,but there is also a cyanogenmod remix that is based specially of cynogenmod...along with many many modification lol. If you are in doubt about a cynogenmod build, always check their download site http://download.cyanogenmod.org and search for the specific device, in this case trltetmo...but just incase here it is http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=trltetmo
