Thanks dude..... will try tomorrow ....but sad it isnt EMUI 4.1 as we expected
Thank you, works great. Security patch from this month. Really fast. Better than lineage os. Very good huawei! Great! So should it be! Huawei is great today, because they do this fast updates. I'm so happy about that
With new update we have no longer the device certification status at true ("Not certificated/Nicht zertifiziert") in preferences from play store. Maybe because huawei roll out this update to fast. Faster than Pixel We should wait and in few days we will see the certification status at true again, right? Nobody else has march-patch. But we have
Is there a single sim version? B595? does this mean that there is no emui 4.1 ?

No, but wait a bit and for sure B595 will be released.
Yes, no emui 4.1. But if you buy the 2017 version you can get emui 5
Hi, is a dual sim version or a single sim?
Thanks!!!

As Azzureux mentioned Single SIM for Europe (Cust=C432) is not yet available, but if you are Italian and your provider is TIM (Cust=C55) then you are lucky because ROM for this Branded phones is now available:

We can go back to B588 or just ignore it. Could you check if you can pass SafetyNet? Just download rootchecker from playstore.

Hi guys i just wondered when is p9 plus getting nougat update?
No idea. Even there is no information about getting beta. They are ignoring plus version.
I dont get it, P9+ is the Flagship and it should get the Beta. I know there is more P9 users but still the Flagship should have it first!
I agree, it seems the 9 Plus is not one their todo list. Even the latest security patch is 5 months old now
Maybe they will give a beta version for it soon.
For the chinese models atleast, today there was an update to B195, which is said to be the rom from which update to Emui 5 will happen. so id expect a beta within a month while stable rom by January/February.

not true, if you are on the VIE-AL version the latest update (B195) has October security patch.
the carrier-specific version are slower because the carriers themselves are taking too long trying to insert bloatwares in the package, don't blame it on Huawei...
Got B190 to L29C636. Upgrade manually.
According to the Chinese Huawei forum, public beta for P9+ will start this Wednesday (November 16), I would assume the official ones will be early next year in this case?

Hi!
Just received OTA on LX1C432 (p8 lite 2017 - black - stock - without brand - france).
This update seems to be released a week ago, but needs 15-30 days to be detected. It needs a sim card too.
Changes :
Ota from b110 to b164
EMUI 5.0 / Android 7.0
Security patch : 5 may
Stability and performance improved.
On call UI optimized
Language fix (serbian)
Mobile data logging optimized
Thanks Huawei for this release, maybe we can hope EMUI5.1 in few months/weeks ? Whats are your thought about this update ?
Can you please give more detailed information about the new firmware version?
What was the firmware you had before this last update?
Thanks in advance.

Go to settings and go to software update -> check update. I know that Huawei check system number (you can't do cross-flash) and moreover it checks the IMEI for branded update.

I tried updating with firmware finder but it gives authentication error. Actually it arrived way before today. The date on ff shows 20-10-2017. It's just that the it shows as MHA-AL00 instead of MHA-AL00C00. So anyone got a trick to update to this new firmware.

You can search in FF model MHA-330 (not MHA-AL00 in this case)
Huawei is pushing number 103199 via HiCare.
Doesn't know ability of authentication (I have C636 region)
Tried the one u mentioned but still get the authentication error.
Found Oreo for the C567 us model on firmware finder, (MHA-L29 8.0.0.321 (C567)) but can't install it due to it "not being authorized". It's official and not a beta, but since it hasn't been authorized by Huawei, system update won't install the update, any clue on how to get around this without rooting or installing twrp? Or should I just be patient and wait on this update to be authorized and be rolled out to the us mate 9?

You never get any updates for C567.
You get official Oreo first (If it now is official), but 8.0.0.321 is the first beta uploaded, with security patch 2017-10-05.

Haha, its too soon brother. A month or two still consider okay compare to other brand..
The same here C636 (AUS version) has got update this morning, not the 9.1 but April security patch.
Some source says Huawei starts rolling out 9.1 for international variants from April 26 (huaweicentral). But I would expect it weeks after (i.e., waiting for carrier test, etc.).

Ahh, seem a good news. Probably a month to be safe.
Still nothing :/
Normally Huawei will give the new firmware to carrier for the final test before rolling out the update.
For example, in Australia, you will see the status of the upcoming OTA here: www vodafone com au/support/device/software-updates
Unfortunately, I haven't seen any update for Mate 20 yet. So a month at least, I guess.

They will not, the time of branding is over here in EU. No.simlock and no branding anymore, so we get firmware dreictly from Huawei.
01.03.2019 patch level
04.05.2019 - still no update
Lol I'm still on 187 with January security patch (France) and you guys are talking about 9.1....

Without SIM you will not get 210 update and stay on 187. With SIM it show instant 210 update.

Not true! I have the SIM inside my phone since I bought it, plus I had no problem getting 187.

Yes! I contacted Huawei support and they replied that no other update is currently available for the time being (clearly false).
Have you tried updating via hisuite on PC?

Yes and it's saying I'm on the latest version (9.0.0.187)
Well, in this case, I would suggest to contact Huawei via HiCare apps or come down to the service center.
As far as I know, this company push update for device according to its IMEI number, so not all devices will be able to update as soon as the patch available.
Did you buy for that country or import for overseas?

I bought a new Mate 20, because I sell my old one (2018) for 420€ and get a brand new one for 390€
210 update only I put a sim card in.
