OnePlus 3T resurrection remix running ElementalX kernel. Assistant was working all week until yesterday. I've uninstalled both Google and even downgraded play services. I even upgraded play services, and even grabbed a beta apk. App still crashes. Is this happening to anyone else?

I noticed you have 10.2.98 play services installed. The latest is 10.5.xx... I'm wondering if that could be it?

As the title states for some reason i think the framework is causing amazon appstore to forceclose.
Before installing Alpha 4 on my Z3 Compact the store was running fine...not that i used it much but i have many free coins so free apps. Since install it will not run at all and all app downloaded from the store will not run without the store.
I was wondering if anyone else came across this issue and if there is a fix?
Thanks
omg so thats why it been crashing all this time! I never thought about it being xposed XD
For me this happens in Android 4.4 but not in 5.1. Strange...
I reverted to the previous version and it works with xposed.

Which version of the store are you running? Can you post the app mirror link? Thanks

Any fix?
Got the same problem
same here.... after install xposed framework alpha4 for 5.1.1, amazon appstore forceclose to homescreen after seconds. un- and reinstall of AmazonApps-release.apk (v 17.0000.893.3C_647000010) is not working.
after removing xposed from my device everything works fine again.
device is a lg g3 (d855) with euphoria 1.1 rom (lollipop 5.1.1).
Problem. I think is that the Amazon apps are made to work on their own framework of sorts... Xposed is breaking that on 5.0+ @rovo89 can you look into this?

ok guys i found the answer....its not xposed its greenify. I thought i tried everything with that app to make it work but turns out you need to uncheck "deep hibernation" in the experimental options.
Working for me now. thanks @dingolino

Missing Native Libraries
Hiya,
This is caused by the Snapchat APK not having the libscplugin.so and libsccrypto.so native libraries within the armeabi-v7a folder.
These are required in order for the application to sign the login requests.
I'm not sure why they haven't included them in that build, must be something to do with the Android M ABI configuration.
I extracted the libs from the APK downloaded from Google Play with Lollipop and then Android M.
The Lollipop APK has all of the required libs in armeabi-v7a folder, and does not include an x86 folder.
However, the Snapchat APK downloaded via Google Play on Android M contains an armeabi-v7a AND an x86 libs folder...
The issue here, is that in the APK for Android M, the libsccrypto.so and libscplugin.so do not exist.
This is what is causing the force crash when you press the login button.
No idea how long it will take Snapchat to fix this, but since this is a preview build of Android M, it could be an issue with Android M itself, not sending the correct device information to Google Play.
Cheers,
Liam Cottle

You kind of have to go with the expectation that some things just won't work right when running a preview
I was having the same problem, but the newest version of Snapchat (9.13.0.0) and the beta (9.13.2.0 beta) work fine on Android M Preview 2.
I have tries the latest beta. It doesn't seem to work for me. I've only been able to get 9.9.00 to work for me. What's your setup. I'm running stock preview 2.
I'm on stock m preview 2 latest beta works fine
Okay so I discovered that it won't let you log in on the latest but if you're already logged in then you can update the app and it should work.
So just download 9.9.00 and log in then update.

I did this on Preview 2 without realizing it and it worked, but then installed it from the Play Store after flashing Preview 3. I ran into the same problem on the new preview, but the same workaround solved it.
I just did a 100% fresh install of Android M-preview3, and here's the steps i took to get Snapchat working on my phone.
Downloaded Snapchat from the Play Store, v9.14.1.0
Tried to login; Force Close!
Uninstalled v9.14.1.0
Downloaded v9.9.0.0 from Apk Mirror
Installed v9.9.0.0
Tried logging into the app... Login successful!!!
Went to the Play Store and updated the app to v9.14.1.0
Ran the app... No force close!

How'd you manage to login? When I try to it says that version of Snapchat is no longer supported

I've got the same problem, looks like Snapchat doesn't support the old versions anymore, so you are forced to update the app, but when you do it you can't log in because it crashes.. You have to wait until Snapchat fixes the bug. I am going back to Lollipop, can't live without Snapchat

I am, until Snapchat publishes an update or there is another solution, but I think that this workaround was the only one..
Has anyone else discovered a fix for this?

Here's a workaround. I haven't tried it yet.
Latest Snapchat update works for M!
No problems with Snapchat on m
Updated to the new version of snapchat and can finally log in on android m. I'm having issues with the new lenses feature and recording video snapchats. anyone else?
Hello guys,
As many of you has already experienced this problem with google apps, I think someone here could help me.
I had been using the resurrection remix OS for a while along with a friend, and two weeks ago, when we were still using Lollipop, we faced this problem after updating the google play services application(Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped).
We managed to solve it with the recipe of uninstalling the latest updates directly on the app. However, when we updated for Marshmallow version of RR OS, the problem happened again. And unlike in the lollipop, we cannot find the way to directly uninstall the updates for the app.
Searched other methods in the XDA threads, Youtube, and found nothing to solve it. We already tried to give all permissions to google play services and other google apps, wipe cache and dalvik, clean cache, and nothing worked.
Someone here experiencing the same frustrating problem?
although I don't think the model of the phone has nothing to do with it, the problem happened in 4 cell with me and my friend, MOTO X-2014 XT1097, MOTOG2 XT1068, MOTO G-2013 XT1032 and MOTO E XT1514. Using the latest version of RR OS.
Don't know any other method or recipe to try, if someone could give me a light, so i can get back to using all google apps normally.
Thaks a lot in advance!
same problem here!
I was getting a few of those within the last week, I updated my Gapps (and CM), so far no errors, but still too early to tell for sure.
These are my current versions, so try updating your Gapps.

Most people that had this issue was directly related to Amplify and Limiting the icing wakelock. Not limiting it was the solution.

Thank you so much friend!
I disabled the icing wakelock block in the Amplify and the error seems to stop happening.
Hope it stays this way.

Where are you downloading it from? I installed it just fine from the play store and it works.
"Your device is incompatible with this version" writes in Google Play for ARCore by Google app and for others apps
I've been running it for a while now. No problems at all. Are you rooted?
No I am not rooted
