I don't have any update :crying: it's for that i want to debrand to C432
I'm on C432 and the upgrade page on my P10 says that B113 is the latest version!
Downloading the firmware will not help for you, because it can't be installed without authentication from Huawei's servers. Furthermore, even if it were to be installed, your phone is a different branding, which means that various functions like System Update, themes, and other things would cease to work.
Once there is TWRP available for this phone, hopefully soon, I think more things will be possible.
@duraaraa It would be nice if you share the firmware and the work will be done earlier maybe.

Why not just use one of the firmwares on Huawei's public server to do the work, like this one?
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1194/g104/v80355/f2/full/update.zip
(VTR-L09C33B123)
the question is how to flash the 4gb file ? doenst fit on fat32

They can't be flashed form SD card like old Huawei phones, because of new security Huawei has implemented as of EMUI 5.
I know, I tried to flash with fastboot(boot, recovery& system), and it didn't works. *My bootloader is unlocked.

Hey guys,
I only have one easy question:
I got the old phone from wife(pra-lx1), 8.0.0 installed.
Is there any working possibility to unlock/Root the phone anymore since Huawei dropped it's webpage for this?
Any working tutorial which is useful? I've have never seen anything working so maybe anyone has an idea how to unlock it.
Thanks in advance!

You can try "DC Unlocker -> Bootloader unlock for Huawei devices " from the playstore.. It costs between 1€ and 16€ per unlock .. unfortunately I havent tried their method .. since the IMEI way they once offered is gone (probably due to huawei disabling the service) .. so you can only try to read the code from your phone's bootloader which may or may not work ... they offer a refund if it doesnt work
Thx I gonna try it! Look @ Huawei's answer. It's a shame!

Yea, already read about it in a german forum, when they announced it in may '18 ... a sad thing they say "improving customer service" when in truth they reduce the service .,.
True thing though that many people bricked their Huawei P / Honor device but only because Huawei blocked all easy ways .. I still remember how easy it was on my good'ol' Galaxy Nexus (3) .. and at that time it was still considered obligatory to offer easy ways because rooting and modding was "fair use" .. Heck they even successfully sued the first manufacturers that tried to block rooting because of this "fair use" practise .. what happened to the world

Hi,
So ? DC-unlocker is approved ? 4€ for unlock code seems to be honest for a free data...
Is it how many you paid ?

No, I didnt pay (yet) - because nobody could show a way to root my PRA-LX1 running EMUI 8.0.0..374 without bricking it.
Doesnt make sense to pay unless I can reliably continue unlocking
Oh ok...
So we just have to sell our P8Lite... and cry.

Hi there,
I wanted to know if it's possible to root my P8 lite 2017 with only the magisk manager APK without having an unlocked device ? (And following the magisk fix to not bricking it)
Thanks
DC Unlocker fails so there is no way to unlock it for now. Only way is to Sell it or use Stock.

Hello, I unlocket the P8 Lite 2017 bootloader with this guide:

the only problem is you have to pay 4 euros for the unlock...

Did you unlock it with EMUI 8.0 installed?
Yes, I had Android 8.0 and Emui 8.0. I wanted to install a custom rom but I had a lot of problem, I installed TWRP but had a lot of Error 7; I nearly bricked the device but it has started eRecovery by itself and repaired - but this is another story...

Hope haky86 gets issues on his device fixed soon.

What is the most reliable site to unlock the ?
currently bootloader unlock is disabled by Huawei Corp,
check xda or these sites regulary for news

this is my first Huawei .. I come from a samsung s8 plus, my question is there any program like "odin" for Huawei? I have seen, but everything for huawei and paid
thank you
Yeah see Roms and other kernels here in xda all. In. One flash tool is good.
But at the moment bootloader isn't unlockable. For Huawei p20 pro, so you need to. Wait a short time.
(since a month Huawei. P20. Normal was unlocked) so wait....
Of course it's possible to unlock bootloader. It's paid and quite expensive but there are at least three suppliers who offer it. Just do some searching here or in discussion section. Development is not in mature stage though.
Thank you all, I'll wait.

Sorry, Wait for what? Bootloader unlock is available for P20 Pro for quitr some time. The user above provided misleading and outdated information. If you bothered to do little search you would easily find at least 4 threads about bootloader unlock. I personally used ministryofsolutions. Worked like a charm.

I don't think you understood what i was trying to say. Before you post anything equally "interesting" let me state something obvious. Bootloader unlock service is no longer available through official channel (read huawei official website) since . It is available thanks to third party services.
And you can easily root your device just do some searching here.

Hey bud , unfortunately if you have oreo u cannot update. There are many apps you can try yourself like kingroot. But there is not possivle way of rooting it unless u get into hacking your phone , then i recommend going by this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g6/help/starting-scratch-t3837452
Other than that i there is no way to root,at least not yet.

If you have an H872, then all you have to do is follow this. Read it several times to make sure you understand, and Google videos if needed to make sure you understand. @pena020563 gave you the answer you need, albeit in a cryptic manner - his link will eventually take you to the link I supplied above. And I don't know why he even mentioned Kingroot. The method I am linking you to is, as far as I know, the only way to root an H872. Don't bother with anything else.
Had you looked just a little harder, you know...scrolled down a quarter of the page, you would have found the link I gave you all on your own.
Good luck!

they claim support g6, but no one ever proof it. The last time kingroot is really useful is when Android Lollipop era after Marshmallow they don't have good exploits to install root in system. Many has been patched.

what's your problem with this xda guide? I think it's simple enough but you have to carefully understand what you have to do (just read carefully). If you don't want to leave windows you can use virtual machine (which I believe is more complicated to setup and need more PC resources).

Hey guys, so I'm kinda new to rooting, unlocking etc. I own a Huawei P20 Pro CLT-L09. Software Version is 9.1.0.380.
I searched for ages on how to unlock the Bootloader of the P20 Pro. Some say I need to open my phone, some say I have to buy a code somewhere. I feel really overwhelmed. What can I do to unlock my Bootloader? Would really appreciate some tips.

You should mainly just trust the articles from XDA.

It can apparently unlock the bootloader directly though
Has anyone here on XDA tried this unlock on the P20 Pro?
I will prob try it even if no one answers but, it'd be nice if someone can tell me if this works before hand.
After unlock, rooting should be rather straight forward, and I will upload a post on the process if I'm successful
@-Alf-
And just BTW: There is always a way to root any phone.
It's just a matter of how bad you want it.
Theoretically ANY Huawei (or any device really), can be rooted by opening the phone up and using test points etc.
Take a look at PotatoNV
That being said, I STILL (after years) haven't found a way to root my LG G6. But, then again...I'm not about to risk opening the phone to root it. If I ever have to repair the phone I will prob try to root it.

Sorry for very late response, but your best bet is to buy a timed license for HCU Unlocker and DC Phoenix to unlock the bootloader. I succeded with these programs. There is this [method](https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/huawei-bootloader-brute-force.4151859/), but be aware that this is the cause of global warming (trust me, I tried it and gave up, there is no guarantee that this will work). If you pay for HCU and DC Phoenix I can provide the firmware for you.

And if you use Windows 11, be sure to disable Memory integrity. It can interfere with the drivers you install (both Hisuite and handset drivers), which will make phone not found while in rescue recovery.
