hi i have a kindle fire 7hd older generation(not 2015), so it wont turn on When i press the power button for a long period then press it again, a screen would come up that says FASTBOOT, now i know a bit about Adb and fastboot mode and i think these modes Might save my tablet.....BUT the fastboot Screen would only be on for a 1 or 2sec then it turns it self off
fastboot Devices command wont even list it? and of course neither does ADB devices
How can i get to Fastboot mode? and stay in it
thank you.

That is strange and unfortunately not much you can do about it if it won't even stay stable in fastboot mode. What about RUU mode if you can get it there does it reboot still try this.
Power off the device and connect your usb cable. In the command window type
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
The command window will show "waiting for device" Now boot the phone to the bootloader and fastboot it should go strait to RUU mode (A black screen with silver HTC logo). Does it still bootloop ???

Sorry man, There's not much you can do with it like that. There's no way to flash anything. Unless Dexter's Unbrick project will work on it but I doubt it very much.
I have a G4 h811
it respond to ADB commands but not to fastboot commands
i get waiting for device message
so i tried power plus volume up
nothing...
power plus volume down
nothing...
if i type adb devices command
i can see my h811 as a valid device so adb works
but
the only thing that kind of works for the fastboot is to get in to adb and send this command
adb reboot bootlader
phone reboots and get the LG life is good logo and on th etop left i get little fonts
that says
******************
Welcome to Fastboot mode for OEM bootlader unlock
* Quick guidance
1) how to unlock : fastboot oem unlock
****************************
Si when i send the command
fastboot oem unlock
i get
<waiting for device>
nothing happens
and my phone wont turn off if i press the power button for more than 10 seconds
i need to remove battery to turn off
reinstall battery and boot up normally with the LG then tmobile logos
any clues ?
Max.

Are you using a usb 2.0 or 3.0 port? You should use a 2.0 port.
Also try disabling windows 10 driver signature enforcement.
SOLVED..
I was on a win7 computer... never worked somehow
switched to a Win10
and worked like a charm...
twrp installed and rooted
using this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/development/stock-h811-20i-images-kdz-flashable-t3308227
So i followed this guide to root my Mi A2 "theandroidsoul (insert dot here) com/xiaomi-mi-a2-root/"
It went all fine but the phone was still not rooted. So i thought maybe get the newest Magisk.zip wich i put on the phone.
So I went back to step 11. to install the new version with TWRP but it didnt go to TWRP although i held the volume up butten and then used the command "fastboot reboot" and then it weent into bootloop
so i Guess i am stuck on my Partition A (in my case) where i installed TWRP but i cant shut the phone dont to get into fastboot and ADB says Error: no device Found".
I Need Help plssss :crying:
If you cant go to fastboot then you need open up phone and use testpoint to force edl mode
But before that hold volume down and power for 10-15 sec to force fastboot
The battery is drained now, i tried to plug it in to the wall and boot into fastboot right away, i saw the fastboot screen for a splitsec but it cut off because it had not enough charge, so i left it plugged in and tried to go to fastboot constantly till the phone had enough charge to hold the boot, i was in fastboot for about 1 minute or so (my plan was to charge it in fastboot mode, leave it like that and then go to the pc to change the active partition back, but the pc didnt recognise the phone) but after that it startet bootlooping again while it was in fastboot.
Could i try to got to TWRP with "volume up + power button" ? and change the active partition in there?
Facing almost similar problem like you yesterday.
Try method I post here

1. Have phone in fastboot mode
2. Launch adb cmd (NOT your pc usual cmd)
3. Connect to pc, type 'fastboot devices'

ADB installed and USB debugging activated?
Then, when attached to a PC, try:
1. adb devices (will show if device is recognised) if yes->
2. adb reboot fastboot
tried that, fastboot mode appear for a moment, disappear then phone start normally

Sorry mate, have no further ideas.
Hello
I have a clean untouched redmi9 MIUI global 12.5.5 android 11
I have not even used it before.
I tried to enter fastboot mode by enabling developer options oem unlocking
also USB debugging on
Then I power off and I press volume down + power key
Phone just vibrates and restarts does not enter fastboot. If I quickly remove hands while vibrating it gets stuck on vibrating until i hard press power again. I can never enter fastboot mode even though I tried a lot of times. I downloaded the ADB tools and used .\adb.exe reboot bootloader. Phone vibrates for around 6-7s then restarts.
How do I enter fastboot mode it should not be this hard!
Hi
You are using the wrong command
type
adb reboot bootloder
