Efi Droid - ONE Themes and Apps

Really interesting. Uefi implementation for Android devices, OneplusOne is supported!
http://efidroid.org
Have anybody tried it already? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.efidroid.efidroidmanager

Yep, it's a lot better than MultiROM. I wouldn't recommend using it yet however, because it's not very user-friendly.

Have you tried the latest Version..? When I tried to install a Rom from Efidroid, TWRP is not detecting my SD card. Have you experienced a problem like this..?

I tested it too. Seems a lot better than multirom but is not yet ready for everyday use. Biggers bugs found are:
Selinux permissive
Can't access internal storage without root access (if you bind mount data)
But is amazing for how is working, you can even virtualize firmware partitions and being a real bootloader no need to patch anything and also compatibility will be almost-total even between different versions of Android and baseband. @crazykc have you tried looking in /multiboot from twrp?

Can anbody decribe how does it work? Enough to flash it using app from playstore? Selinux permissive on second rom only I guess?

Yes and yes.

I used it and am running about 6-7 roms on it including Oxygen,MIUI,COS,Nougat,CM MM roms all in parallel.

will get you through. I set selinux permissive in boot settings but it is not persisting in my roms, other than that everything works pretty well for me!

I got it worked at last. Now running Color os with jgcapp CM 13, RR 7.1, and Candy7. Tried to boot color in secondary, but it was missing so many things like network signal and some settings when it booted after a long, long time. Other roms also stuck at boot loop when selinux not changed. We can change selinux to enforce after the rom is booted up.

There is an Icon of Setting on top of Efidroid boot menu. Select that Menu with the help of Volume down, volume Up, and Power Button. There you can set Selinux.

I think you can have it.. I never had any problem of baseband until now.. After flashing H2OS I am not getting any signal. All other roms are working fine. I am tried to flash another baseband on H2Os, it is still the same. I am having color, candy7, RR, jgcapp Cm 13, and H2OS now.

This flashable zip overwrites our custom recovery after flashed?
Coz a custom recovery (like TWRP/CWM) prevents me from using a PC,
If these zip flashes also the recovery back to stock, then we cant go back/revert back from Nandroid without a PC..
Just a simple question, but I put mu reasons why.. Heheh.
Thanks by the way for sharing the ROM..

Hi, thank you for this ROM. Can I flash it over CM11 without factory reset? Is the radio module updated too?

Many thanks

Wiped and install, however after one reboot the back/home buttons are missing and the notification bar isn't showing either.
Did a factory reset and still nothing.

I updated to the latest TWRP, I then factory wiped. cleaned cache, and dalvik.
Then installed this stock rom from scratch with the instructions here and it fixed the issue.

Hope not...

[Q] Flashing New ROM but can't put ROM into SDCARD

So I installed PA Beta 5. Everything is pretty good. But I'm having issues such as not being able to view the gallery and not being to download things. I thought I could go flash a new ROM but I can't because every time I transfer something to Ext SD and exit, the files disappear. I can't transfer to root of internal storage because it doesn't exist anymore.
What can I do? Am I stuck on PA forever? Please help
Never heard something like that.
You can try installing TWRP from XZDualRecovery and then copying the ROM to your internal or external storage, it may work!!

I think a SD Card reader will do the job? I'll go look for it. I have a few.
EDIT: I'll move the ROM to SD Card and install from there in recovery. Is that going to be fine?
You can even try this,
1. Boot into TWRP by pressing the volume down button ONCE after the green LED and two short vibrations (it'll turn purple).
2. Connect your phone to the PC while in the Recovery.
3. Copy the zips to any memory (internal or external).
4. Wipe everything and flash the ROM.
BTW, you can try RR Build 4 (L 5.1) with Tangerine Kernel, it's as stable as a rock after one or two fixes.

Nexus 6 broken root

Trying to root my Nexus 6 with Marshmallow
I installed the modified boot from Chainfire using fastboot, it succeeded, then restarted bootloader, then installed TWRP 2.8.7.1, it succeeded, then booted to TWRP and installed the 2.52 beta of SuperSU and restarted and the phone is saying the 'device is corrupted', gives me some crap URL (g.co/ABH) and doesn't start, is there any way to fix this?
Edit: sort of fixed by using Despair Kernel, however, isn't there a way to do this without installing a custom kernel?

yea, you just ignore the message, press a button, and let it boot. it has NOTHING to do with root being broken. its a message that appears, using the stock kernel, if you have unlocked your bootloader. next time dont freak out, lol :silly:

It has happened to someone else. If you touch the system partition at all with the stock kernel you will get the warning. Only way is a modified kernel (or boot?). You can use a stock kernel that has a small mod to remove the message.
I switched to the vortex kernel mm beta and am very happy with it. No problems at all and way more responsive.

We are talking about two different things: one is the red triangle, and the other is shutting down if rooted.
In this case pressing the power key while showing the triangle is what turns the phone off. It is so if somebody else tampered with your phone to stop it from booting and messing with your stuff.
On the other hand, stopping if rooted can be avoided if you have a custom kernel with all SELinux turned off, or using Chainfires boot.img that dabbles with the security settings so the kernel is satisfied and boots. You will have the red triangle, just let it boot.
And if the red triangle troubles you then by using a modified ramdisk, it can be switched off.

U only installed recovery in fastboot but u didn't root using twrp at 1st try. Am i right?
Just follow full instructions given on YouTube video and don't forget to root even if u don't want to..
EUI encrypt our device so format data is necessary.

I just got it installed, so it's too early to tell. But I'm not really the one to ask 'cause I'm not a very demanding user. The real reason I install custom ROMs is just curiosity. I'm an 81 yr old retired computer consultant and it keeps my mind active.
