When I try to install Viper4Android, It won't work. It Says that the busybox I installed might be broken or the wrong one. I installed the busybox by Stericson, the one viper4android needs. I have the t mobile d959 g flex on 4.4.2 and I've rooted with towelroot and Root Checker says I am rooted. Anything I'm doing wrong? Please help.

I recently got a LG G2 vs98024a, great phone. I want to have the G3 UI installed, and i've tried to root the phone several times with the iRoot and the towelRoot tools.
I get a message that says i need to downgrade my android version if i want to root my phone.
Any ideas on how to do this??

I had to use Stump Root. Choose brute force, let it do it's thing when it's done reboot and add Chainfires SU from play store.

freedom flex says i have root and allowed me to install cwm.......
I can not install busy box or su.....
i used stump root initially and have tried purpledrake and a couple others that all fail. titanium backup says no root and rom toolbox says no root.

Worked flawlessly. Then, followed Playful God's Freedom Flex method for custom recovery,and installed CWM 6.0.5.1.

I am using a Sony tablet s 4.0.1 which I rooted with kingroot and I now have kinguser. I want to replace it with superuser, and I have tried many ways but none worked. I need a way to replace kinguser with superuser and update binaries in SuperSU,without using a PC . SuperSU always says that installation failed and it has detected other apps which may cause conflict. Please help

Did you try to flash SuperSU 2.49beta already? That one worked for me after rooting with KingUser.
Download the 2.49 SuperSu flashable zip, then go into the recovery of your choice and flash it. Then boot the phone and go to Kinguser and then the settings and click on Root Permission and disable it. Then reboot and go to SuperSu and install binaries and you're good to go.

Kingroot should work, you may want to replace it with SupetSu later, either flashing a custom ROM or using an script to remove kinguser and install SuperSU.

Oke tried to replace kinguser by supersu,
It worked, did replace but after restart stuck on lg logo.
Reflashed v20c and for now leave it with kinguser.
Has anybody tried anything else than kingroot with success? I don't want to use kingroot. I have exactly the same version and everything failed to root my phone. Thanks.
