Hey Guys,
Please tell me the most official stable update for Lenovo A7000. I am sick of that touch response problem. I feel hitting the device on the floor. I am currently of s141.
Please help guys.
Thank you so much
Have you tried s149 update ?
I have read on lenovo forums.. Its also full of bugs...
how about S151 update
its good.....touch bug is almost fixed....but mine is s152......not s151
I updated to s152 and after a couple of days touch screen stopped working. Now its in service center for screen replacement
Will get it after 10 days which means 1 month I guess :crying:
S153.. Best ever update... Fixed overheating while gaming a bit... Ui performance improved... Still battery jump to 15 not fixed but.. Doesnt bother me...
132
I have an issue where the screen randomly stops working and then after putting the device on sleep and waking it up .... It starts working again ... Is this a hardware fault or a software issue ? Anybody else facing this problem ?
Me facing same issue "screen randomly stops working and then after putting the device on sleep and waking it up .... It starts working again"

s133 is most stable and smooth build.
when i update, it shows a lot of bug.
i have twrp backup of my old rom and i love it, i dont wanna update.
in other and i use miui pro. its alternative of stock rom.
however s133 is the best of stock build.

They will fix the issues in our dreams
They do not listen and in every update they solve one problem and bring 4 times more bugs
I am not sure how long this has been going on but my WiFi does not find ANY networks. It just keeps scanning. I have tried not only a reboot but cleared Cache and Dalvik with no help.
If it helps, I am running Pure Nexus, I have some mods like Xposed installed and I am running ElementalX kernel.
I have not made any changes to my phone ins weeks and this problem has to be within the last day or 2.

sounds like you are using an older kernel. you need tyo use one that was put out after the last june security update, as the developer has stated this when he released the last pure nexus update, that wifi will be broken unless..

when was that kernel made? i updated as well, but to a kernel from february, but im on an older pure android build. anyways, the developer posted that if you update the rom, to use a kernel built after the last security update or wifi will be broken.

It was a auto update from ElementalX.
I'm not sure of the version, I have it set to delete it after update.

its from july 8th, it should be good, if Flar used the latest source that is..
Pleases read elemental X.-Before you flash anything, even if it is something that you have been using for a while, READ THE CHANGELOG! A few minutes of reading can save hours of headaches! I say this not because I am smarter, but because I to learned the hard way. Good luck.

Will read the change logs from now on. Thanks. I am always so quick to update when it's available, I guess I need to pay more attention.
With that said, I dirty flashed my Pure Nexus ROM and all is good now. Unfortunately I haven't updated to the latest Pure Nexus (2 since the one I am on now) because they no longer support CMTE builds and I run a lot of Cyanogenmod themes.
I am also on Pure Nexus with The elemental X Kernel, make a back up then flash the latest Pure Nexus and give "layers" a try . IMHO you should always be running the latest security patch there's just too much at stake with all our personal information these days, if you make a back up you can always go back if you do not like what you find. Have fun keep flashing!
I've heard good/bad things about both of them. I've used xiaomi.eu on my former RN5pro and was very happy however if the experience is better with revolution OS I would give it a try (regarding battery/performance/bugs etc.)
Thanks guys! Have a great day :highfive:
I am also interested in this topic. I used Xiaomi.eu on my MI MIX3 and now I have to switch to MI9 and I am not sure, whether to use Xiaomi.eu or Revolution OS.
I did not test Xiaomi.EU, but from what I read RevOS is the same with more debloat and better battery life. The negative aspect is you get less frequent updates than with Xiaomi.EU, so it could be that with Xiaomi.EU you get new features and bug fixes more quickly, but then again there are only very few little bugs on RevOS so I think it's not much of a problem tbh.
I'm currently on RevolutionOS with Magisk and PocoLauncher and I'm really happy with it, but of course when the first stable AOSP based Roms with working camera will come out, I'll switch to that very quick haha

Great! Honestly I've never updated my phone anyway (since I've debloatet/modded it completely and didn't want to do the hustle again). If it offers the same/more features like xiaomi.eu + no frequent updates (since never thouch a running system) I think I'm giving it a go (after the 15 days wait period
Thanks again for your great reply! :victory::good:
In my opinion RevolutionOS battery life is better than EU . Idle time last night using RevolutionOS was about 3% in 8 hours while with EU rom was 10-13%.
RevOs for sure. I have tried Flokorom (GSI), Xiaomi.eu, and RevOs and I keep coming back to Rev. I get the best battery life by far with it, especially stand by time.

Did you, or anyone try the XASP Patch on top of RevOS ? it seems really interesting and i'm curious of the results it's giving

Actually, yes. I forgot to mention these results are with the XASP Patch. I am not sure how much that patch contributes to battery, but the combination of RevOs and the XASP are the best things to flash on the Mi 9 right now. I used GSI roms and will I like the minimal OS it just felt a big buggy and not able to fully utilize the hardware yet. Don't use any extra mods/apps like L speed mod or Greenify, I havent found them to be useful (on MIUI at least) and can got better battery without.

I just installed the patch on top of cleanly installed RevOS. Shouldn't Magisk be there by default with XASP ? was it when you installed it ? Because now i'm not sure if it's correctly installed or not. Thanks :good:

Yes it should be there. I would recommend wiping data, factory reset, then install RevOs immediately followed by XASP patch.

That's what I did, but I think i'll try again. You can confirm it's the aromaless-universal version that we need to flash for our device, right ? In other words : this one (sorry, just want to be sure I'm using the right file, and maybe it can help others who'll see this in the future)
I use xiaomi.eu because it updates more often(weekly). I always remove any additional app I don't use from system when those are not impact to my daily use.
Haven't tried ros of mi9, but was using ros in the past. Don't feel that different to eu

Battery life on ROS wasn't much better on other Xiaomi phones in my experience. But on my Mi 9 I had far better standby time on ROS compared to Xiaomi.eu and Global EEA.
Now on another thread I just saw this rom called "mi-globe" : https://mi-globe.com/rom-builder/
You can basically pre-customize things like if magisk is preinstalled etc before downloading the rom. How is that one compared to RevOS and Xiaomi.eu ?
But from what I saw it's not much different, and I still think battery life will be better on RevOS.
One more question (since so many of them exist already): which type of TWRP did you use for flashing Revolution OS? Thanks!

I think the fiirst time I flashed it, it was with an old version of randomblame's one. But now I saw in the thread that there are problems flashing with the new one.
On the chinese TWRP it doesn't work for me.
Second time I flashed it with an older version of mauronofrio's TWRP (3.3.1-4 because there was a bug with the new version too), but now the bug is fixed on his version and siankatabg's version.
So I recommend you to use the latest versions of either mauronofrio or siankatabg's twrp, since they both support decryption now too. :good:
On the latest update of revolution os, I noticed my battery and network speed icon is white and can't be seen properly as compared to time and network bar which is showing with black color. How do I solve this?
Dead topic?
Any noticed issue with fingerprint unlock?
Any one now still use cn ROM , come to discuss in here , waiting for cn rom for new update
I do, everything works same as it worked before. Updated via OTA few weeks ago

too bad , laggy
Well, I've downloaded and installed it and can say that there's not a problem yet.
The fact is that I use my phone as a phone more than a gaming device, so, maybe I'm not the most exigent user.
I had some wifi connecting issues but I think is more for the bad internet where I was than the phone.
I have to wait to the oficial release to upgrade, now the beta is working fine, and it still is Android 10.
Regards.
V12.0.6.0 is now launched.
