This is regarding the Samsung Note 4 Model SM-N910T from T-Mobile.
Recently I got an update from T-Mobile and after that the phone started freezing and restarting. I tried the below steps and I am worried that my phone is of no use now. Kindly let me know if any solutions to solve this problem.
After restarting multiple times, I tried updating the software update from Kies and of no use.
Then I followed the steps in most of the forums, Flash ROM using odin.
Download odin 3.12
Downloaded N910TUVS2EQB1 from different forums(sammobile, samsung-firmware.org)
Updated with AP Button in ODIN.
Result was PASS and after that phone restarted multiple times.
At the end, a menu will display with the message as DM-Vertify verification Failed. Please install DRK first.
Tried downgrading the earlier versions as well, but of no LUCK.
Reached samsung service center and they tried to do the same by using the kies software and said cannot be done anything with it.
I think most of them went through all these steps, can someone in this forum bring back my note 4 in working condition.

Well I've had this phone for 4 days and I had this happen while playing around with ROMs. I'll tell you how I fixed it. Flash twrp pull the battery after success then boot to recovery volume up, power, and the home button. Wipe dalvick, cache, data, and system. Flashed this ROM and gapps and I was good to go. https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-aicp-11-0-t3315759

yes jammol. I tried multiple times, with multiple ROMs thinking that there could be some problem. Each time I tried I made sure cleared the cache, data, system and did factory reset too. Tried with ROMs as DynamicPop, Resurrection Remix and AICP. followed with GApps after flashing each ROM.
The mobile keeps restarting after Samsung Galalxy Note4 logo.
Am I missing any step, or should I try any other ROM.
Can I go back to default ROM given by samsung even after the KNOX warranty is voided. At present the KNOX warranty void showing as 0x1.
I'm wondering if you ever found a solution. I too started having the same freezing and restarting.
I use the Note 4 n910t T-Mobile phone on the At&T network. This started happening on exactly Aug 28th, which AT&T says was the release date for N910AUCS2EQH1.
My phone did not, and has not updated to this version. I'm at N910TUVS2EQG1.
Coincidence???
I've done no modifications to my Note 4 (n910t) prior to this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

I started getting random process errors onscreen. It got to the point where "process com.android.com" was force closing, rendering the phone unusable. I decided to flash the ROM to ROTO’s JMI (Wipe). The phone boots but the errors were still there, as if they weren’t wiped at all. Long story short, I went back and forth with a couple of ROMS that I have (even my stock JK1) and then it started booting straight to recovery and showing this:

after flashing with JQ1 the booting stops on SAMSUNG logo, and only way to reanimate it is to re flashing with JMK-stock-safe(but all errors are still stay)
You have corrupt files and a bad flash, or you are restoring bad apps and system data (a big no-no).

if you got the jq1 from samfirmware and flashed it with odin, you will get stuck at the samsung logo. you need to flash a file dbdata.rfs to complete the firmware.
Hello all,
I have an issue with latest CWM 5.5.0.4 recovery. It says the following error:
E:Error in /cache/recovery/last_log
(Read-only file system)
and other similar errors:
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
and I'm unable to reflash GalaxianSoup ROM nor restore the original backed up 3.2 factory rom.
What actually happened ?
Once bought, I managed to root, flash CWM 5.5.0.4 recovery and install the latest GalaxianSoup ROM. Everything based on the guides in development forum and successful (all latest versions). All cool! System was working fine.
Yesterday, I was using tablet, installed few apps, nothing special and later left tablet turned on and charging. When I came back, it was turned off. Okay, tried to turned on, but the system never booted and always looped (seeing only Google logo and moving gears). I rebooted into recovery and noticed the error (see above).
Now, I'm basically unable to do anything. I tried to wipe data, cache and Dalvik cache several times, and reflash GalaxianSoup again (Galaxian + Gapps) or also restore the 3.2 system backup that I've made (always fails).
I've read on some other forums that it might have something to do with damaged SD card partition or something.
I'm out of ideas. Can anyone help me pleeeeease?
EDIT: I've got european Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 16GB WIFI version.
EDIT: I must correct myself. After rolling back to factory rom, I was experiencing the same issues, seems there some hardware issue. I sent the tablet back for repair, seems now it had nothing to do with GalaxianSoup. No need to worry, keep up the good work.

Flashing of CWM didn't help to fix the issue, installing of GalaxianSoup didnt work at all (corrupted ZIP file error...)
Thanks God, reflashing of stock ROM via Odin did work, tablet is up and running. GalaxianSoup is definitely not stable enough yet, I'll stick to the stock rom fora while. Thank you!

To be honest, it is kind of stable, but not enough, hence the beta label. Some further optimizing will be done once the team has ICS source. In my experience, it was stable, but sometimes it would turn off when in fell into Deep Sleep state. Now, the AOKP milestone 5 is giving me issues with the screen rotation. I've experienced both sides, AOSP and AOKP in their latest versions. Obviously there is more room for improvement, but I'm afraid the team is kinda stuck without source. They've done miracles without source though.
Hi Guys,
I was trying to update my rom some days ago and something went wrong, my phone was bricked. Now every time I try to flash a rom, I keep getting can't mount errors.
I have tried pretty much every method for fixing these, but every time I fix one error, another pops up, and it goes in a circle.
For example, I was getting can't mount /data, dev/block/stl10, can't mount mmcblk0pa, and soon. I tried installing a kernel, flashing different roms, flashing stock roms, repartitioning, not repartitioning, I installed a kernel with CWM Reovery and that worked well enough, but when I flash it goes back to the can't mount errors, any help is appreciated.
Have you tried going back to stock via Odin?
I have tried many stock roms (At least I think they are stock), same problem.
Had this problem to! I always flashed with odin. But when i flashed with Heimdall that issue dissapeared.
Dont know how but it helped for me!

Probably best to flash stock GB using odin and pit file. If you have download mode, you should be good.

I've tried flashing stock roms many times, no result, can you guys suggest some? The last thing I did was put CM9 and Slim ICS Rom, and that worked, then I tried to reflash and it died.
Also, I went to format everything cuz I thought that may solve the problem (/format data, /format emmc, etc) if that help give any clues.
Right now I tried Darky Rom Resurrection 10.2, it goes through but I still get:

Can’t access to ‘/system/csc/XSG/system/’.

then it loops if I restart, clearing data / cache didn't help.

/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 is your data partition
I have had this issue before.
The way I resolved the issue was to flash stock (darky 10.2 will do) WITH PIT file and Partition ticked. If this fails try the stock rom for your phone/carrier/region from samfirmware.
You can't keep trying the same ROM/Firmware expecting a different result
Once I was back on Darky's I flashed to the ROM of my choosing
Hello, everyone. This is my first post so excuse my newbliness, if any is noticed...
I've been trying to flash my Mini for quite a while and all I got was a series of epic fails. The ROM that I was trying to flash is the Unofficial CyanogenMod 10, by rohan007; to be more specific, Unofficial CM10_15-12-12, which is the latest update, I think. I was using Cyanogenmod Recovery Image 5.0.2.6-tass which worked quite fine, giving me the advanced options and everything, but each time I would try to install zip from sd, I would get the following error:
~some incomplete log text above, not sure if it matters~
/E:Error in /sdcard/customrom/CM-10_15-12-12.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Of course, I followed the exact instructions on how to flash a custom ROM; Clear cache partition, Wipe Data/Reset, Clear Dalvik Cache, etc...
My phone is rooted, by the way. I used the universal_gb_root_v25.zip to root my phone, since it was the only method that worked.
Then, after further investigation, I found out that the image version 5.0.2.6 sometimes fails to intall a custom ROM. So, I found the ClockWorkMod Touch Recovery Lilg Version for Galaxy Mini, CWM TOUCH 5.2.0.8 version. And when I flashed it, I just got "Install from sdcard completed" log message. Since I didn't got any advanced options, I tried to flash the ROM by selecting the option to apply update from sdcard and yet again, I got the following error:
~again, some incomplete log text above, not sure if it matters~
E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Then, when I rebooted my system, my phone got stuck on the Samsung GALAXY mini GT-S5570I text and now, every time when I press the power button, it keeps doing the same! I'm seriously getting frustrated here... Anyways, I can only go to the Android system recovery, and the Cyanogenmod system recovery and that is it. Also, I can still manipulate my data from the sd card. (Move and remove files from it, I mean).
One more thing about the Android system recovery. Now I get the log text saying:
-- Appling Multi-CSC --
E:failed to mount /system (Invalid argument)
E:failed to mount /system (Invalid argument)
And obviously, I did something(s) wrong in the whole process, so I beg you to help me resolve this issue. Thank you.
If you need any additional data about the whole bundle of problems, I will be more than glad to post them in my next reply.

ODIN MODE works, reflashing only works with image version 5.0.2.6...
As far as I know ...
we can't flash CWM in GT-S5570i
we can use in temporary only ....
this mean we can use CWM 5.0.2.6 in CWM mode and after reboot the phone goes into original CWM mode.
What I would u to do is ...
If u can go into CWM recovery mode then wipe data / Factory reset
if this doesn't help ...
Go into download mode and flash with original firmware using ODIN ...

For the CWM, I know. You have to flash it every time on reboot on the android system recovery to get it working.
I tried with factory reset several times and that did nothing. Download mode, also nothing.
So the best solution for me would be to find the stock firmware on the internet and flash that. I'll tell you how that went...
Also, when I try to format system, I get an error: "Error mounting /system! Skipping format... Done"
So for the future, is there any other way, besides CWM, to do a full, complete wipe of the Android OS?

But can you use the recovery mode? to see yellow text at the botton is normal in 3e stock recovery... but well you can flash root file and then cwm(custom recovery) in order to avoid the yellow message and do wipe to skip the bootloop
Maybe doing 2 stock wipes, factory reset and cache, you don't need nothing more to fix bootloop so try booting into recovery and do wipes amd reboot fist
I'm experiencing the same problem in my brother's phone and I can't seem to figure out what's happening.
