NRD90M test-keys - SOLVED - Huawei P9 Plus Questions & Answers

Some how Ive installed the wrong image and have Android N with a version or NRD90M test-keys. It seems to work okayish however no bluetooth. Now i can not boot in to recovery. It states that its booting after the unlock warning but no go - just sits there. If i try and flash recovery image it fails and I notice FRP is locked. Id be happy just to go back to Android N C900. Can anyone help please? Tearing my hair out. Also Ive checked with Root Checker and it no loger seems to be rooted.

I tried that. If I hold vol up vol down and power the recovery software dosnt run there for it didn't run the update of the SD card.
I need another method of running that update.

Hello, first apologies for my English, I was stuck with the NRD90 test keys and I could solve it as follows, first you must block the bootloader again, this in order to enable the OEM Lock option, then re-unlock the bootloader , Then flash the TWRP 3.1.1.0 of the Huawei Mate8, once installed, from the recovery, you have to install the HwOUC.APK (EMUI Updater VERSION 17.7.31) and then the Firmware Finder & Firmaware Finder Proxy, finally select with the application And download the corresponding FW. Now my phone works with Nougat 7.0, I hope this manual is of some use

is the only solution to this problem is dc phoenix?

i have the same problem, unlocked bootloader, flAshed Kitkat XT1063 global single sim version on fastboot then upgraded to Lollipop global single sim also, everything worked but the "no network" and an error when searching for one. i have downgraded to stock Kitkat, relocked bootloader, still no network service... any help on fixing that?
You can try the Retail Latin America version:
i Suggest this two (if the first doesn't work, try whit the second):
First: http://www.filefactory.com/file/6967yytqrjv3/RETLA_XT1063_4.4.4_KXB21.85-22_cid12_CFC_SVC.xml.zip
Second: http://www.filefactory.com/file/4q2qr0gw8trj/RETLA_XT1063_4.4.4_KXB21.85-14_cid12_CFC_SVC.xml.zip
Tell me how goes you whit this.
Glad I waited before flashing any stock rom. I just got the same phone, just from Telcel. Hope to have some secure way to flash lollipop soon.
i flashed mine succesully but softbricked it while downgrading because i had no network, after some research i got lollipop working again, you just have to flash the Latin american modems from the correct firmware for your phone, mine was retail latin america single sim, thats how you get a perfect working moto g 5.0 in mexico, ill provide the link if asked for
Please do.

Stable 7.3.3.0 Chinesse Stable and 6.5.21 Chinesse Dev, problems flashing

Dear Sir,
I've a mi5 32Gb with Dev 6.5.21 Chinesse versión and no way to downgrade to a previous versión of DEV versión or previous versión of 7.3.3.0 Stable.
MY phone had the bootloader blocked and these versions has the EDL mode blocked, the only way to flash a firmware is trought the update menu in the phone and
when I try to flash a previous versión I get a verification error with the firmware that I'm trying to flash.
I've read in several threads that the only way is to downgrade to a previous verion, but I only can flash the latest official chinesse version of the stable or dev versions.
Any idea ?
Any help will be apreciated.
Regards.

PRA LX3 Question.

Hi there
I posted earlier on the P9 forums.
So I got a P9 Lite from latin america, the model number its PRA LX3, Build number its PRA LX3 C69 B110, came with Android 7 and EMUI 5. searching on google showed me little results but what I can assume its that its a P8 Lite 2017, the box and in the settings it says its a P9 Lite but the CPU its the same as the P8, and all around all the specs are the same as the P8.
I want to root this device, it is my first Huawei device so I'm new to how they work. So far I have successfully unlocked the bootloader using the official way. On the rooting guide I see its only for PRA LX1 devices so i have not followed it through fearing a brick. I also see I need to erase FRP, can someone point me in the right direction? Only guide I could find was DC Unlocker software but I dont want to pay 4 euros lol.
Thanks for your time!.
Hi,
I got P9 Lite 2017. PRA-LX3. Comp. 605 b102. Argentina.
Take a look at https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=71995752#post71995752
Installed and working TWRP SUPERSU BUSYBOX
Hey man thanks!
Did you had to erase FRP? Any bootloops?
No, no problem at all.
1. Unlock bootloader.
2. Hard reset with huawei recovery - no reboot
3. Shutdown and then boot in fastboot mode
4. Install TWRP vía fastboot
5. Reboot in twrp recovery
6. Push supersu zip file vía adb
7. Flash supersu
Restart for the first time. Now you have twrp and root.
Good luck

Ajuda para atualizar meu dispositivo (após Root/Magisk/build.prop)

Hello everyone, I need a little help. I bought a MiA2 in October 2018, which unlocked the bootloader, installed the Magisk module and changed the line of code through build.prop to get the Camera2Api. I was stuck in the November 2018 update and would like to know, in your opinion what would be the best method for me to have my device updated again and consequently get Android 9 installed?

Download the latest flashable from miui roms
http://en.miui.com/download-353.html
which is 10.0.8.0, clean flash it via Mi tool and after update via ota to 10.0.9.0. Important is at mi flash to check clean all not clean all and relock also not keep data because u r changing from oreo to pie. Other solution is to restore original boot.img, factory reset (because changing from oreo to pie) and update via ota to pie. You have to restore boot.img by flashing original boot.img via fastboot and not by magisk because causes bootloop. I think the clean flash is the better solution.

Question Lock bootloader on change ROM from Vodafone to EEA

Hello dears! A pleasure to be here.
I recently got a Xiaomi 11T Pro from Vodafone (MIUI Global 12.5.6 Estable RKDEUVF) and I want to change it to the global one (I have read that operator roms does not work properly good) so If Im not wrong It has to be vili_eea_global_images_V12.5.20.0.RKDEUXM which is the similar one but from Xiaomi.
Things that I would like to now before proceeding unlocking bootloader + flashing:
Is the vodafone rom considered as a "custom rom"? Or is the same as the XM version but with little modifications
Is there any problem if I choose "clean all and lock" option from the Mi Flash Tool. I have read many post with problems from people locking again the bootloader even being from the same version (EU in this case). So the question here would be if it has to be the same same exact original version MIUI Global 12.5.6 Estable RKDEUVF or it only takes into account if its Chinese, EU, global or other versions. I think here I need a little of explanation since I do not know exactly what causes the break on phones.
Can I proceed unlocking, flashing the version previously commented and locking again with no risk?
Is it safer choosing "clean all and lock" opcion from Mi Flash Tool or is it prefered to use "fastboot oem lock" command from tools.
PD: I'm assuming this process has to be done 100% via fastboot, cause there is no way to do it via normal updater.
Thanks for your time!
I did the same thing there's my post.
The procedure is correct unlock the bootloader use the latest version of miflash (october 2021).
I managed to flash 12.5.16 and not 12.5.20 (It gave me problems)
Be careful of rollback control (check first).
If you have pro version (only pro) If something goes wrong you can use EDL mode (fastboot OEM EDL).
I used "fastboot OEM lock" to lock bootloader.
After installing the Rom I received the Ota update without any problem.
Can you explain me a little bit the process you did, step by step.
And I do not understand what you mean with rollback control, how can I proceed with that?
Thanks
This Is a good guide for rollback. It's in italian I think you can translate.

The steps are:
1.Download the image of the Rom using app "miui downloader" and save on PC (fastboot image)
2.backup your data
3. Unlock bootloader After xiaomi permission with xiaomi unlock software
4. Verify anti rollback checking version of the Rom and version installed
5.download xiaomi flash tools here: https://xiaomiflashtool.com/
(last version 08.21)
6. Flash new Rom with "clean all"
7. Verify that phone starts correctly only make a check
8. Relock bootloader with fastboot (all data wipe)
it worked for me, I didn't have a real guide. Only problem my phone went into anti-rollback and I had to do a cleaning with EDL

Is not custom Rom but official european of xiaomi.... Is the same used by vodafone
I just wanted to add here that I bought this phone from 3 network and I didn't even need to unlock and then relock the bootloader. I just needed to tap up miui logo 7-10 times on the update screen. Download the recovery update. On the update screen I used the 'select update package' (or similar) option, selected the recovery update file and updated. I'm now off the dreaded carrier software with little effort, despite downloading a ridiculous amount of files with the expectation of it being a pain. This also saved me having to wait the 168hrs for the bootloader unlock.

Obviously need to make sure you have the correct ROM, for me it needed to have rkdeuxm, but for me I compared and this has worked well.

You will have to modify the script of the rom or use the Twrp.
Try Xiaomi EU rom better than stock.
