I have a Lumia 525 it bricked and PC shows it as QHSUSB_DLOAD and i tried this command
"thor2.exe -mode emergency -hexfile "HEX.hex" -mbnfile "MBN.mbn" -orig_gpt"
It says:
"SAFE hex file was used and unallowed memory address was being written.
Reset the device and use the correct HEX file."
When I reset device it doesnt go red screen,it goes QHSUSB_DLOAD
I tried Windows Device Recovery Tool and it detects phone and says "Emergency flashing" after seconds says Ended with failure.
How can I solve this I tried many times,different Hex files,different drivers please help .
I tried WPInternals' Restore Bootloader option on my phone it writes partitions and says rebooting but phone goes DLOAD after that.Please anyone can help me ?
I tried another command

After that thor2 says programming sbl3,uefi... then says resetting device and says "Failed to boot to FlashApp"
It cant boot Flash mode .
My lumia 635 had the same problem(wasn't trying to flash android) Detected as the QHSUSB all i did was take out the battery and plug in the phone waited a few seconds then put the battery in and it worked

Android work on your 635 or no?
do you have the windows phone 525 backup image?
Did you try using Windows Device Recovery Tool? Maybe it can help you.

Sorry everyone but i have hard bricked my lumia now in it nothing shows totally blank screen.
i know tht it is easy to solve but it is not in QHS USB mode it is in android mode!!
In device manager when i see list of connected device i see device named Android. its because i flashed lumia 525 mbn bin for fastboot mode.

But i can still boot into mass storage mode but i am confused i removed EFIESP paritation in windows explorer and have a backup of it in my windows(Old working windowsphone backup) and copied working efiesp paritation but now it still doesnt work.
I have backup of my phone before flashing that mbn file actually i flashed mbn file and now my phone is bricked.

You will need install fastboot
Actually i installed minimal adb and fastboot but it doesnt detect my phone.
My Oneplus 3T(with android 8.0.0) suddenly turn off and it wouldn't boot or other option, i didn't ever rooted, it was new and updated. I tried to go to recovery, tried a hard boot hold the power button for 30s, connected to pc, and giving a charge... it just stayed dead... so i did a find the OnePlus3 Unbrick Tool, did find the phone on the tool and i run... after that it boot in a cycle where appear the 1+ logo and them the md5 checksum with the system and recovery failedmd5 failed
it does that loop, and now i can enter fastboot but can do nothing than going to that cycle and power off
phone apear in the device manager as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008(COM3)"
and using the tool again, goes to a error saying "Sahara Communication Failed£ Please try again after power off phone" and already tried what it said..
then i tried the version 3.0.8 of msm-download-tool and got the error "Firehose GetUfsInfo Failed" and got the LED yellow...
please help me, what can i do to boot my devide?

When comes error "Sahara Communication Failed" after that hold and press volume up with power button simultaneously , it will start again. Hope it should work.
I recently recovered my nokia lumia 1320 RM-994 from death, thanks to some .hex and .mbn files posted in a thread on this forum. But now I'm in another very big problem and I need help.
It turns out that a red screen appeared with white letters saying: NOKIA. The problem is that the phone restarts every two minutes or so constantly and so on. I can't find a solution to this problem, please help!

Update: The other problem is that when I flash the phone, it gets to 30% or 25% and finishes and doesn't go any further, I use thor2, plus I've also tried wpinternals and windows phone recovery tools.

What software are you flashing and have you tried dirty flashing the phone?
You need to try only with wpInternals 1.2 . You can enter into emergency download mode by following key combination specified at 'restore bootloader section', try for restoring bootloder first.
You need original FFu image and emergency files.
All key combinations to be tried while you have connected your device to the pc's usb port.

I have tried to flash the phone with wpinternals 1.2 and it has now reached 45%, I will keep trying until I reach 100% and complete the flashing
At this point the phone stopped rebooting, so I was able to try to flash it.

I have a Microsoft Lumia 820 where the display is broken. That was the reason why I tried to backup my phone - especially the several hundred of contacts. I used for this the WPinternals tool (version 2.9.2) to switch to mass storage mode and save the whole system. Unfortunately something must going wrong, because now the phone is in flash mode and no matter what I`m doing the red screen (flash mode) (photo 1) is always there. If I try a soft reset the same issue occur. I tried also to boot to normal mode, but it doesn`t work. WPinternals shows me the message: "Error: Phone is in an unexpected mode." (photo 2). The same occur when I try to unlock or restore the bootloader. I don`t want to flash the phone because of the contacts on the phone which I really need. Is there anybody out there which can help me in that case?
I`ve tried also the thor2 tool from the Windows Device Recovery Tool to change the state to normal boot via emergency mode, but the same issue occur. As you can see on the attached photo (photo 3) it is "not possible to boot to emergency mode with this version of phone SW." Are there other commands or tools where I can bring my phone back?

I tried downgrading my nokia 7 plus TA-1046 ,unlocked boot loader..
flashed the file "Nokia_7_Plus_TA-1046_132E-0-00WW-B07_17032018_NB0" using OST tool ...
the process was complete but I end up with a white out screen no response to ..when I hold down power button it restarts with a boot vibration to end up in white screen...till the battery dies... only useful as a screen torch...even it is not going to edl mode or boot menu..restarts the light..
when I connect to the computer it shows a fastboot device under adb interface..but no com port..so I end up with empty result on 'fastboot devices' command so no tool is helping me..
I still want to try as a fastboot device pops up whwn I connect...
does any one have any idea about my situation...
please do help me... any suggestions or ways that I can still do ...
