Mean that on some buttons it's not possible to read the text and therefore the function of the button?

Yes but it is very few buttons and only in some particular apps. The text can be read but it is very unclear. You can go in the Gmail app and the show pictures button for example has this issue

Hi ComputerFreak. I have just installed Black Perfection 2.1 on my Elelinux 1.9 ROM and I really like the looks of it. However, all texts are in black... even the ones at the top of the screen (notifications, time, etc.). It is different from the screenshots you show. Please tell me how to change the font colours to white! Maybe a tiny patch will work??

I just tried to change the colours in CM settings. I only managed to change to colour of the time.
I tried to change all of them to #ffffffff (white) but they don't seem to take effect. Do I have to reboot or something?

would there be a way for you to put that sking on the Android Keyboard? I really dislike the HTC_IME =/

Hey thanks for the CMTheme.zip file. I rebooted my phone and now everything looks perfect!
But now I have another problem... I installed the special theme HTC_IME mod keyboard and it works great. However, every single time I reboot it is gone and I have to reinstall from the .apk file..
I'm not sure if it's because of the CMTheme.zip file or the Black Perfection Theme itself. Maybe they cause to keyboard to revert to its original?

Might I offer that if the top part looks like an inkdrop, it might be artistically consistent for the bottom timer to be a repeating inkdrop at the same pace as the above inkdrop, rather than hastily spinning.

I'm looking into CM12 theming as a whole now. Done a CM11 theme before for personal use. So I'll probably release the beta version of the theme itself instead of releasing just the bootanimation and I hope to do it soon.

the feedback i would say is YOUR BOOT ANIMATION ARE SO AWESOME!!!! thank you dev.
however,i was wondering that whether fps could slightly increase,as 30fps seems not that smooth.
but it was nice boot animation

[REQ] Transparent Navbar system wide.

Hey modders, I was wondering if you can make a transparent/translucent Navbar that I can use throughout apps, I know about the immersive mode.
I feel Iv looked almost everywhere with no result as to why it can't be done or hasn't I would settle for it changing with my apps but I can't use xposed since I'm on 5.1

Yes, for me that's a feature that I would live to have,UV been asking about this for awhile now and I never get a answer. I don't understand why this can't be done or if devs just don't wanna tackle it. There's a modual in xposed that let's us fad the navbar but it just come back,I don't like the fade feature. I would gladly donate if someone would make this happen. Let's start a petition lol.....

Yea man, same here there's just not enough people liking the magic of it. Personally I think it adds more screen relestate for viewing. I have talked to some guys over on G+ in bitsyko layers project and apparently he is doing it. But you'll have to use layers.

Here ya go bitsyko community

You can use ultimate dynamic navbar pro to do this. I currently have my navbar transparent. Also, it expands your desktop when you make your navbar transparent so you really do have more screen real estate. Unfortunately, it won't let me post the link for it but you can find it in the play store

Iv tried it. It uses more system resources, also it has only made the whole navbar disappear lol
I'm looking for the stock navbar with no black background. Just like on the homescreen.

You can do that with udn, it hides your real navbar and put a an exact clone to replace it. Then you go to theme and make the background clear

Bro we are asking for a STOCK navbar with a transparent background meaning that black covering the text behind the buttons is gone. Just as it would be on the homescreen and recents menu lol.

I understand that lol. The navbar I posted is UNB's basic theme but is customizable if you purchase it and can be transparent. It's obviously not a stock hack or anything but I was confirming it's an identical solution that works for 5.1, assuming you're rooted.

I bought it awhile back, didn't do what I wanted an had 4.4 Navbar icons didn't enjoy it.
Using layers the customize my Navbar icons.

1 : The devs don't owe us, anything. They can build whatever the hell they want. Plus, most roms now are some sort of kang of another. Why else would most roms have pertty much the same features then?
2: This is all on the assumption that apps don't theme the navbar, and that they have coded the app to display at where the navbar is. I've done a fully transparent status and navbar build for my nexus 4 and while it works fine on launcher, it would bug out with artifacts when using other apps or it just returned to grey.
BUT, devs are amazing so they could probably make this work. However, there are much more important things to be done before modifying on the looks of android. So please, just be patient or try and do it yourself.

Obviously you guys don't feel the way I do.... I hate the navbar. I don't use it. Such a waste of screen. Have you tried something good like pie or an alternative to the navbar? I'd suggest that. But to each his/her own.

I like pie, but I also enjoy the navbar since its faster click wise for me. I would rather
There be light up soft keys. And the 6in screen that would have made it 100x better.

i got that bug too just now... i found out that changing the dpi causes all themes not made by asus to look like that. Is there a fix yet?

Any way to extract the wallpaper off this one? I like the wallpaper.

Looks smooth bro. Except for the toggles. They can be improved a bit. Maybe you can check the CM12 MIUI themes or an actual MIUI ROM and change it a bit.

I have to agree with him. Make it flat. Bevel or rounded **** is so old! We can try some sample cm12 themes here on xda itself. Let me try and find one.

Check the screenshots. I wish i had time to install these in my cm12 devices to get more SCs for you man. But ideally it should be flat and sweet!
But from the choices you have given... the second one is waay better than the first!

Icons seems smaller compare to real miui and statusbar theme not so elegant

Oh this looks so much better man! Good job!! Okay so the brightness slider should be the second one for sure! But I think it would look more MIUI to use a simple brightness slider and edit / settings / profile icons. Check this:
