Currently on full stock MM, pretty happy but will soon start flashing
Stock ROM since I don't want to trip KNOX.
Dr Ketan's N7 port as it is not only the most popular ROM for the note 4 snapdragon on here but it also has everything that I could wish for. Smart screen works perfectly on it, can push cerberus into system with no problems, links2sd works flawlessly, no crashes or freezes and the only rooted ROM that android pay works on as well. Its only slight downside is the relatively short SOT that I get from the battery but that is a minor complaint given the amount of apps (400+) and goodness that I enjoy getting from it.

M6 has a slightly better battery life but has no smart screen functionality that I always need and so I am on M12 (latest).

Ah okay enjoy :good:
erobot v19 has easily been the best rom out there for the Exynos variant. DN7 based roms are very battery draining and all-round very inefficient along with the endless numbers of bugs present due to the original e-team stopping development mid-way. Erobot v19 along with Samsung Good-Lock has done wonders, it is amazing for battery life (better than stock), and you have the option to use different Ui's ported from the Galaxy Note 7 and 5, as well as from the Galaxy S7. Not only this, but the rom is rock stable and super fast!

How did you managed to downgrade ? Simply flashed a KK firmware ?
I guess the real benefits (for many) would be a rom will all of the following:
1) with VoLTE support (to be able to switch modem to 4G-only, which will save A LOT of battery),
2) always-on display,
3) with the ability to enable/disable 4G only (and particular bands).
4) 7.1.1, to have the latest version.
not sure which rom would it be...
Dr.ketan M6 s7edge rom is still 1 of the best rom so far i tried every single rom available and i am still loving this rom.
Latest from Alexndr. Always works well and he keeps updating regularly ... Best ROM I've found

So, if we follow your advice, we would have a look to GingerReal2 rom ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1155623
All the best from custom rom regarding performance, root access, ...
but no fancy shiny fireworks and themes (which would slow it down)

EDIT: Currently on cm9. I will look it next days but I will release it %100.
hey,
i'm running android 4.2.1. unfortunately i forgot which rom... anyways. i feel like jelly bean is too laggy for me so i thought about going back to ics. my question is: how do i do that? should i just flash an ics rom via cwm or do i have to run a specific protocoll?
thanks!
AW: [Q] downgrade
You can see what ROM you have in Settings --> About.
I think it's like a common clear/clean ROM flash, where you have to clear chache, data, dalvik, ...?
And always hit the "Thanks" button ;DD

right, thanks, i'm running c-rom mix v5
you should backup your whole sdcard
as while downgrading to ics usually the internal sdcard gets formatted

But I just flash it via cwm?

Just take a look at your ICS Rom page
i agree that u should backp your internal sd card as there is a POSSIBILITY that your SD card gets formatted so as I advice dont take the risk and backup ALL your SD card

Good to know you got your phone running smoother now. I'm just wondering why you experienced lag in C-RoM Mix v5 which is also based on Hellybean sources.
I previously used this C-RoM Mix v5 and i found it very fast and smooth.
Anyway, enjoy with your new Rom.
There was a post/thread I found on here a few weeks ago about a ROM for the xt890 ,I think there were three versions of the ROM a regular aosp theme an experia theme and a dark theme if I'm correct.
Problem is no matter how much I search and look through the forums I can't find it and I'm wondering if anybody knows where the thread is. I remember it not being under the development section though.
All help appreciated.

Thanks for replying but that's not exactly what I'm after, it was a ROM I was looking for that came in three versions but thanks for pointing me go that theme any way. Its just the ROM was really stable and had two day battery use for me and now I can't find it.
Which one you where using? The linked Thread is the right one, but I abonded the tweaking and focused more into the theming stuff. I still got the Rom zips online, so I can give you the link as soon as I'm @ home.

When you flash these Odin packages it will completely wipe your phone, so make sure to backup anything you want to save. Other than that, nothing bad will happen. Some packages are optimized for different regions/carriers so most likely you'll get the best performance flashing the firmware that is meant for your region/carrier.
But must be for Germany? I live in Germany and I have Mobilkom-Debitel (aka Vodafone) carrier.

Why is there no custom Rom for the Oneplus 3 T?

Propably waiting till Nougat comes out for 3T.
No point investing time and energy building 6.0.1, testing and bug fixing when 7.0+ is just around the corner. That my opinion

Hi,
Because you have to be a little bit patient? Out for European 28th of past month only.
Dunno for US, surely out before but not so long...
This phone just beginning his career...
I prefer waiting a bit instead trying someones who are fully bugged, apologies to all devs...
