I have a problem, since I bought my p9 I did not receive any update I see now many people receiving official emui 5 update.. I really can not find any information if there is any chance to update the official firmware manually? So how? I still have the security update even from July.. It is really annoying..

Same here, tried manual update but fail. There is in firmware finder some resulta for us but don't work, Maybe because it isnt the full zip

Guys anybody knows in Huawei devices how we can change firmware? Without root or some custome Roms. Just original firmware..

hello, I am new of this forum and very new to any form of upgrade.
I have a P10 with a firmware that says: D188-L09C432B101
on tel info it seems that both android and emui are old versions and I d like to learn how to manually update the firmware.
I have downloaded firmware Finder app but it says no firmware update for D188...
Any pointer for where to start?

P10 model names start with VTR and not with D188 as far as I know. Are you sure it is a P10? If you try VTR-L09C432 in FF, does it indicate updates that are approved for your IMEI?

That is because something went wrong. That happened to me too... It's a missing file (should be 6).

The update is available on Fido. I'm currently installing it on the Huawei P10 lite. That said I'm getting a download error on my Huawei P10.

Yes you're right, but I have talked with the developer and in his opinion CUST and PRELOAD are only needed for switching version, for example from 9 to 9.1. Also is true that BLA-L29 Emui 10 cust and preload exist, but not for BLA-L09.
Anyway, if you don't check preload and cust in the tool HiSuite will not charge them and send the update the same, but I'm afraid to go forward

Ok but I have to tell you to pay attention because the firmware I linked is for BLA-LGRP2-OVS and I don't know if it's ok for your model.
I'm asking to someone having a BLA-L09 or at least a BLA-L29, I don't understand so much in version so maybe that one would be ok for you

I'm pretty sure that CUST and Preload are required for 9.1 to 10.

Actually that emui 10.0.0.158 is for the BLA-L29C-CUST6351B2(10.0.0.2), BLA-L29C-PRELOADC635R11B3(10.0.0.3) and Ian not sure if it will work for the other variants. Pretoriano80 is correct by saying that we need the cust & preload to move from 9.1 to 10.

There are two 'BLA-LGRP2-OVS 10.0.0.158 on HiCloud, but no idea if any of them is for c432.

I also doubt, as there's currently no cust & preload of emui 10 for the C432, even my C185 which was stuck on 341 with November security patches and I had to use the hisute proxy tool to force it last night to 344 with December security and to my surprise it worked .

I have the links for cust and preload for C432, so that's not the issue.
Well, if anyone with a C432 wants to try, i can provide the links (i think that are the same as the ones from this Hisuite tool).
I won't test because EMUI 10 locks the bootloader and for me it's more important than EMUI 10.
