does anyone know of any app that will record or capture screen taps or button presses within an app and then lets you automate the captured screen taps or button presses?
Does the Droid Turbo has some kind of options to disable the capacitive buttons and enable the on screen navbar instead? Like the OnePlus One let's you do from the settings without rooting?
If not, would any of you know if the capacitive buttons are temporarily disabled while in Immersive Mode? (example, watching videos on youtube)

It does not have the option to disable the capacitive buttons and enable a navbar, nor does it disable the buttons while in immersive mode.

The app Lux (paid version) will do what you want! I use it to turn off the capacitive buttoms when watching movies or just don't want to be distracted by the buttons (I already know where they are!). Great app. Worth every penny! Should be part of any phone that uses capacitive buttons.
I cant seem to find an action to disable capacitive buttons
You can achive this by using the AutoInput plugin.
New Task => Plugins => AutoInput => Modes
Button Light and Touch
An very small and simple utility to adjust the duration of the capactive button lights.
You can also remove this app from the app drawer once you install it.
Not the most original app, but it's 100% free and does one really important thing if you use my other app, Button Mapper. Assigning a long press action to the Recent Apps or Back button with Button Mapper will cause the capacitive button lights to stay off all the time. If you install this app, the light will work again.
Due to a convoluted development thing concerning target APIs of Android apps, I was not able to add this functionality directly to Button Mapper. I had to put it in a separate app.
So think of this as an add-on for Button Mapper. Or just use it to change the duration of the button lights and toggle button vibration.

Hey,
somebody know an app when you press the button on home screen device is going standby and next time waking up with fingerprint or iris or face recognition still work? Same function the hardware power button does.
Thanks
I an using Nova Launcher and set a gesture for screen off. Perhaps you want to try that as well.
Or you can use greenify and set swiping up of an ICON (mine is app drawer) to go to hibernate and sleep
