selinux change - Xiaomi Mi 5 Questions & Answers

Hi evreybody
Can someone tell how to check my selinux status or if there is a way to change from enforcing to permmisive? I am running xiaomi.eu 7.3.30...

You can change selinux status to permissive in kernel adiutor.

[802w][CM12.1] I need help to build CM12.1

I really need help to fix bugs on 802w running cm12.1
Bug:
- Ii i enable QSEECOM service, surfaceflinger cannot read lib ( memory violation ). How can i make surfaceflinger access library with qseecom enable?
- Failed to call ioctl MSMFB_OVERLAY_PLAY err=Operation not permitted. What is that error? Does it relate to selinux or some security??
you can disable selinux to see what nexts .With my experience the bugs may be caused by it.
To disable selinux in kernel source let change command: selinux is not set (from selinux=y) in config files. You can share my device, vendor tree and which kernel source u using? May be i can help u devs )

In Settings / Apps:

Supported Variants:
This ROM fully support US variants:
Verizon / VZW (SM-N910V)
T-Mobile / TMO (SM-N910T)
Sprint / SPR (SM-N910P)
US Cellular / USC (SM-N910R4)
and
Canadian variant (SM-N910W8)
International Snapdragon variants (SM-N910F and SM-N910G) need RIL/QMI fix. This can be done by flashing blobs from the latest firmware (cm-14.1-trltexx-fix_v3.zip or cm-14.1-trltexx-fix_v4.zip) before flashing Gapps.
Nandroid Backup/Restore:
To fix nandroid restores (No SIM and Phone FCs) due to TelephonyProvider data/symlinks for using legacy RIL blobs on newer versions of Android 7.x+, you may wipe TelephonyProvider data by flashing this ZIP directly after restore and before rebooting to system.

How did you flash it onto your N910T ? Are you using trltexx TWRP? I'm getting "E3004: This package is for device: trltexx, trltedt; this device is trltetmo." using trltetmo TWRP. I plan to flash a new recovery to work around this, but just want to make sure I'm on the right track Too impatient to wait for tomorrow's unified build
EDIT: Did it as described - worked !

Was your filename = Emotion-trltexx-NG.beta32-r1.Official-20161220-220953.zip ?
I'm using that with trltexx TWRP 3.0.2.0 and it seems to be working. Wouldn't flash with trltetmo TWRP though :|
Edit: mobile voice/data wasn't working. Solution was to install the VZW beta rom, which is working okay besides for GPS lock pretty much... but I think let's wait for tomorrow's build before we complain about such bugs
There is no file to download on android file host. 2 folders but no files
@ianeli1 Does LTE work? Doesn't on mine.

The SELinux error message has flooded my logcat.

SELinux : avc: denied { find } for pid=3094 uid=10227 name=tethering scontext=u:r:grilse rvice_app:s0:c227,c256,c512,c76 tcontext=u:object _r:tethering_service:s0 tclass=service_manager permissive=0
I am using Pixel 4a 5G and I use the latest security patch (January 2021) and latest canary Magisk (6d88dba8) as of January 6th PST time zone. and my system information can be found in the picture below.
This problem has been happened for days I am now using the stock ROM and stock kernel (NOT Proton AOSP, LOS, PE or any other custom ROMs)
What shall I do to resolve this **except** setting SELinux as permissive?
It will be really appreciated if someone can offer me some help.
Thank you.

{Install - Múltiple Audio Mods} Viper - Dolby Pro Audio - James DSP + Convolver 10-11AOSP

First you need to have a Permissive kernel, not ENFORCING (Like on P. Experience)
1: Flash Permissive Kernel into Magisk +22.2
2: SEARCH and Flash "Audio Modification Library" into MAGISK
3: SEARCH and Flash Viper and/or James DSP and/OR Dolby Atmos
Enjoy.
*Recommended James DSP and Dolby atmos; Whyle Viper works very well you need to turn on "Compatibility Mode" to make it work.
Give thanks if you like it.

Actually, you can skip step 1. You can change SELinux to permissive with Termux as long as you are rooted.
[MOD] viper4android + MIUI 12 + Magisk 21.1
Default viper4android Magisk module doesn't work for me with SELinux enforcing. "Brute force" fix is to set SELinux to permissive, but I don't like this approach. Viper4android module should patch selinux policies during installation, but it...
