Google Applications (optional) :
OPEN GAPPS : (Use packages for ARM64, Android 6.0, Micro or Pico)
Flash the GApps before the first boot. If not, a clean flash is recommended.
SuperSU (optional) :
SuperSU
ROM is not pre rooted, SuperSu v2.52 & SuperSu v2.65 both work flawless.
Flashing and updatingAOSP-CAF clean install :
- (Optional) Wipe the data & cache (Backup to make sure not to loose data)
- Flash the CM-13 firmware given in Official CM13 thread.
- Flash the AOSP-CAF 6.0.1 ROM zip from the Recovery
- (Optional) Flash the GApps to have the Google Applications
- (Optional) Flash the SuperSU zip (recommended, see Q&A informations)
- (Optional) Every additional zip you want to flash
- Reboot
AOSP-CAF update / upgrade :
- (Information) Don't wipe anything unless you want to
- Flash the latest AOSP-CAF 6.0.1 ROM zip from the Recovery
- (Optional) Flash the GApps on first install / upgrade. Not required later, but do update sometimes
- (Optional) Flash the SuperSU zip (recommended, see Q&A informations)
- (Optional) Every additional zip you want to flash

The security patch is a lil older, don't you think.

What about Goodix FP sensor?? Is it working on this ROM?? Any bugs regarding like 2% battery bug, front camera issue present on this ROM??

Volte is not supported in any cm based ROMs. As fast food sensor goes if you have the fpc one then it should be fine. Don't know why WhatsApp keeps crashing for me.

Thanks to Shivam Kumar Jha,this Custom ROM for Redmi Note 3 SD is Working Great with Gapps [i flashed Nano Gapps] ,no Force close apps ,only thing VoLTE is Not working and finger print scanner for unlock screen will work most of time and some times it wont work

What exactly comes to this ROM from CAF? Audio, Camera libs?

Can you release the kernel in a seperate anykernel zip for use with other roms?
I'm aware I can just flash the boot.omg but some kernels are a bit more complex than that.

Mate, you know from where the commits were cherry-picked and isn't from official LineageOS kernel so no it's not 100% official LineageOS kernel, from this commit onwards all the commits aren't present in stock LineageOS kernel so again, NO, it's not 100% official LineageOS kernel.

I don't see much importance in random generation nor from entropy. Certainly not enough to drift away from which is maintained good for it. One more thing rule is use RT timers when ever you can (& do like ZOL rules). Who wants to work on unified kernel & tree for a device is OK by me rest we don't really need.

Lol that's not the point here, you like it or not isn't the thing here, the point is that the kernel baked into this rom isn't stock LineageOS kernel, you can think whatever you want, use it or not but certainly this kernel is different from LineageOS one, that's what's matters in this.

security patches are based on Source, in this case NucleaRom.
which did not updated security patches for nougat after november.
Seems like the information on our devices are highly confidential like in "The Pentagon" which always requires latest security patch.

Instructions:
* Go to Recovery and do a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik/art cache) !
* Install our ROM (vbmeta for who come from Miui it's already inside)
* Reboot system

We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has addressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.

Flashing Instructions:
You need to flash manually via recovery.
Clean Flash
• Downloaded the new rom build to your phone using the direct link.
• Reboot to recovery
• Take full backup in twrp
• Wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik, vendor)
• Flash the new build
• Flash In call volume fix Lineage Based Zip file. Reboot system.
• again boot into recovery. Install GApps package
• Reboot - The first boot can take up to 5 minutes

Yup. Just plug your phone to charging and reboot your phone. Then don't unlock your phone fast charging works

How to disable hw keys? Swipe gestures of xenon is way too good.

No button options basically to disable them. I tried build.prop. basically i tried everything to disable them so that i can use gestures. Can you please check the issue.
I flashed arrow os too it has hw disable option but no gestures like xenon hd and the sound clarity and quality in xenon is v better.

Is sound problem and in call persist in this ROM .that's what I wanna know. Is sound quality good or even bearable than RR 7 los or miui.
