About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices, Cardinal is being built with Uber toolchain, with most of uber optimizations, with full Substratum Support and with minimal customization, the main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. I hope that you'll all love this project, and help us, shape it even more better.

When it comes to going to a different rom it is always recommended to clean flash

If you're comming from another rom then you need to do a clean flash otherwise the rom may not boot. Yes Magisk 12.0 works fine. Im using it myself and got no problems.

Edit - just tried again. Downloading now!

Loaded and running NucleaRom Ran a stereo test on it. Left and right speakers are running independently and sound good to me.

Sounds great to me. Only problem I'm having is AudioFX force closing every time a track changes. But I rooted with Magisk, so it's probably my fault.
Edit: Disabled AudioFX for now, and everything's perfect.

I'm seriously excited to see that this amazing phone is finally picking up traction in the scene and is slowly getting supported by different devs. I hope that in a few months the Axon 7 will have just as strong (or close) support as the OP3/3T!

I'm aware I can just flash the boot.omg but some kernels are a bit more complex than that.

Mate, you know from where the commits were cherry-picked and isn't from official LineageOS kernel so no it's not 100% official LineageOS kernel, from this commit onwards all the commits aren't present in stock LineageOS kernel so again, NO, it's not 100% official LineageOS kernel.

I don't see much importance in random generation nor from entropy. Certainly not enough to drift away from which is maintained good for it. One more thing rule is use RT timers when ever you can (& do like ZOL rules). Who wants to work on unified kernel & tree for a device is OK by me rest we don't really need.

Lol that's not the point here, you like it or not isn't the thing here, the point is that the kernel baked into this rom isn't stock LineageOS kernel, you can think whatever you want, use it or not but certainly this kernel is different from LineageOS one, that's what's matters in this.

Fails to flash error code 7. I'm on the latest TWRP too. Any ideas?

Flashed and works properly. However there is no support for the rounded corners of the S9.

The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!

U can always try different gcams and settle with whichever is suitable for you
To install anx, download anx camera from their official website and install using Magisk manager.

I am currently using Corvus Os. As you may know development of Corvus Os is closed so i want to switch to this rom. I just want to know the customisations i will get in this rom are some what similar to Corvus Os.

Screen off torch gesture is not found on the august build . sir,, is this V gesture like oxygenOS /colorOS type?

i think very few custom roms are going to get future updates. i just moved from corvus os to pixelplus ui and development of pixelplus ui is dropped. ?

Appreciate your work. I have only one problem tho, cannot mount data partition. I did follow the steps to the letter.
