greate work
I was wanting to upgrade from my ZenFone 2 to the 3 but didn't want to because of the lack of costum ROMs. I hope this gets to official status so I can start looking for cheap ZF3's
Thanks for the work! Continues...

gotta flash through twrp, wipe data first.
So I'm going to ask a question. To fix the Bluetooth and the speaker bug what about we just grab the files from the original Rom and put it on this Rom ??

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

Hey Unjustified, good to see you over on the Axon 7 side! You got the development started for the Idol 3, so it'll be great to see what you can start for the Axon 7 as well! Awesome work! :good:
A question to the devs or anyone knowledgeable. Is it just a time thing, before the not working stuff is figured out? Or is there a legitimate chance that stuff just won't work because we are missing stuff from ZTEs side?

This question is not pertinent to this topic (this topic is about CM, not official OTAs), but we don't know, we'll have to wait and see.

ZTE hasn't released the full ROM image yet......so nobody can work with the stock ROM yet. Hopefully soon......Until then, CM is different and not "stock" ZTE, they take what they have and adapt to make it work on different devices.

Sorry but the issues of touch were as a result of improper rooting. My realisation is that if phone is not properly rooted, it can misbehave in several ways.

because as far as I know, it is properly rooted but when you use the phone after a fresh install the Magisk SU gets a little weired but, after a while it works fine.

Sorry @Ahmed_Khalifa. I should have talked about my phone. I am always forced to re-root any ROM which is pre-rooted for this reason. I don't know if anyone else has had such a situation like mine but my phone always requires that I re-root it. Moreover, I have personal issues with magiskSU because it does not root my phone completely and am unable to use certain apps that I always need. Hence as can be seen from the screenshot I earlier sent, I have to combine magisk and superSU. For me I have no need for safety net. For instance, after following my usual procedure of rooting fully (as I would call it), the rom has no more issues and i can now use it as i want.Thanks.

Will download and test shortly. Thanks for hard work, been after a good LOS for G6
Nice, flashing right now
So I've been using this ROM for a few hours now. Couple of things that I've noticed:
* Pixel display settings (Natura, Boosted, Muted) are mostly all the same and I don't like them all together. Can't get the colors to look like on LineageOS 14.1
* It takes a little time to receive a mobile signal after boot. On 14.1 this was much quicker.
* Because this is an unofficial build, there will be a prominent notification in the status bar warning you about that. This can be disabled through a root shell (e.g. adb root)
* The new LineageOS icons - you either love or hate them. I belong to the latter one…
* Stock Camera didn't work for me at all. I recommend using one of the Google Camera ports (or OpenCamera as mentioned above)
* I liked the circle battery indicator from previous LineageOS/CyanogenMod versions and couldn't find it here. Has it been removed?
I was getting battery issues. Had 80% flashed ROM. 18%. Flashed back to fulmics 72%. Very odd.

This can be solved by recalibrating your battery
Has anyone tried encryption? Enabling encryption gave me a bootloop on lineage is 14.1
New build available! 04.04.2018
*Upstream changes.
*Fixed color saturation.
You could of at least changed something in the body, other than shamelessly copying everything from my thread, at least credits would of been nice..
Also i wonder if you asked anyone for permission before sharing their work here? As currently nobody from the devs acknowledged the creation of this.

How do I update correctly? Just flash the new ROM or do I have to flash new Gapps (like on 14.1) as well?
Phone calls don't seem to work. Can't receive or make calls, dialler is present but it seems to crash after dialing. Also incoming calls are immediately dropped with no notification whatsoever.
Shame, everything else worked like a charm.

What's AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
We added few non-AOSP features for a better user experience and we NOT going to add something other.
What's CodeAurora Forums?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.
Bugs
* WiFi hotspot (need to reboot after using it or wifi breaks)
FAQ
Why is the security patch older then the latest AOSP patch?
CAF focus on delivering the latest hardware patches and are usually about a month behind Google on security patches, on the other hand, Google is usually a month or more behind on them on caf patches (sometimes months). No point in complaining about it, if you want the latest security patch, go with an AOSP based rom (like PixelExperience), if you want latest qualcomm optimizations for our hardware as well as fixes, go with caf, its as simple as that.
I'm having an issue with X third party app/module/hack
Talk to the dev of that thing, not me. if the dev has a solution I need to implement that won't effect others, have him contact me
Can you add X feature like traffic meter?
No! this is pure aosp-caf. Only support for exfat and advanced power + button support was added, no stupid non stock UI tricks
Installation
Same as all other roms here:
1. Wipe data if coming from another custom rom
2. Install ROM
3. Flash TWRP
4. reboot into twrp
5. Flash GAPPS
6. Flash magisk
7. reboot

Non of the roms have selinux enforced yet, we are working on addressing the denials but for now just use magisk hide no? I think its should work, at least it works for me... otherwise can't help until we get selinux working right
Thanks @sooti.
A long awaited ROM. Thanks a lot.
That's what called master piece. Great work .... Thank you for pure core Android

Yeah, man but unfortunately there's some apps that are still detecting root even after using magisk hide.
Build is up.
Possible bug - voLTE, there is no icon so don't complain about that. Please check if voLTE actually works, not if icon is there. thanks
Already installed all good sooti thanks!!!

hey. noob question.
In order to install the update I need to do the same process I did in the installation? Or will it be via OTA?

Hi,
here you can find my version of LineageOS 19.1 for our Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 devices.
At first I want to thank @rINanDO and @ChronoMonochrome for all your work which helped me a lot.
This is a BETA build, also on the LineageOS side, so don't install it if you want a complete and stable rom and don't report my already listed bugs!
When you have BitGapps installed, you have to reflash them after every update!
Here you can see how far everything is working for now.

I would recommend to use microG instead of BitGapps,
here you can find the installation instructions:
Spoiler: microG instructions
Download Magisk 24.1 and flash it via TWRP (yes, flash the APK file), reboot
Open Magisk and update the App (and do a reboot if it's asking)
Enable Zygisk in Magisk
Download and install microG installer in the Magisk manager, reboot
Download and install safetynet-fix in the Magisk manager, reboot
Check with a safetynet checker app and you should pass
If you plan to use a sim card in your device, I would recommend to disable the pin code before with another device.
In some cases the sim card becomes unusable while typing in the code.
Do you like my work?
Than you can simply hit the thanks button and consider to spend me a coffee or a beer,
I'm doing this in my free time and it also costs a lot of money to buy hardware.

Wow, looking forward to a new beginning
Kindly add the original bootsplash script to restore to original bootsplash ...
This rom changed my bootsplash. Pls add the zip to revert it if anyone want to switch back ....
The rom is running super smooth without gapps
Bugs -:
•) The Quick Settings in Portrait mode is not adjusting to the device size ...
The notifications also get squeezed
•) Lock Icon on lockscreen is upside-down
•) Taskbar Modification from settings not working
I'll add more if I found
Thx
@html6405
Also, does this rom support OTA ?
And is there any Device Group on telegram or anywhere else ?

You're right, there are many more bugs, many settings are still missing / incomplete.
It's in a real early stage.

Yep, OTA does work and no, there is no group.
Which branch did you use to build the ROM? Is the repo manifest available somewhere?

Thx, i thought that it will be the same case, it's the same Kernel .
If the sdcard is formatted as a portable storage, it should work.
But this bug is listed above.

I will keep hope this can be fixed! In the process of trying this, i found that the TWRP of another phone can format the SDcard, Is it possible to add this feature to our TWRP, but the recovery partition of our device is a bit too small.

I had to remove some file systems from TWRP because of the limited space,
but TWRP should be able to format your sd card to exfat.

If there is a trade-off, i suggest the language file can be deleted. just keep English, the TWRP operation is very simple.

This would only work for not official versions,
in the official TWRP, we are already using the small language pack.
But I will have to find some space anyway for the next release.

Thank you for all your hard work! I'm running this ROM currently and so impressed by the smoothness and speed throughout. Thanks again!
Hey, are you interested in making OC profile for them?, I wanna help
I can beta test / private test them and adjust voltages, I would have done that myself by decompiling the kernel to change the CPU0 seems kinda hardish right now since I don't have a lot of experience with that
I remember people were running the CPU around 1700-1750Mhz ish mark same on the 8" and Note 2
also, I noticed the GPU in this kernel isn't appearing in apps for some reason
after digging in I found it runs at 533mhz, the mali400MP can run at 600mhz
you can still make the kernel "Overclockable" by leaving it at stock speeds but adding 4-6 more tiers to scaling ava freq after 1600MHz as:
1650
1700
1725
1750
1775
1800
Edit/Forgot to say: I did some tests with it Running at performance governer at 1600mhz, it was a way smoother and far better experience, the interactive one either isn't fast enough or bad, I got around 300-400extra points in PC mark (from 2600 to 2950 average) that's around 14% increase in performance!

Hi,
the kernel is already to the highest usable level overclocked.
I've enabled all the frequencies up to 1800 earlier (LOS16), but everything over 1600 MHz was too unstable,
so I've removed them.

That's true, but it's less energy efficient, I recommend everybody to use Kernel aduiator to switch to performance after every boot (if they want to use it).
The problem is if I reenable the higher frequencies, people will try to overclock and land in a bootloop,
then they claim me for doing this...

can you at least provide the modified kernel boot.img with a warning?
I used to run this thing on a 1704Kernel if I remember correctly
the stock speed is in fact 1.4ghz, maybe I remember stuff from the note 2
I use FKM it works pretty well with me

I still can't believe it, I already want to see it with my own eyes, brother, your work is incredible, thank you very much.
Hello,
Guys, I don't know if there will be a solution. But I read that Google intends to end the support of applications that use 32bis processors and it is already mandatory for developers to provide the 64bit version. And already have apps only in the 64bit version on the Play Store. The question is: Will we have a way around this and install 64bit apps on our tablet? Our old man still has a lot of wood to burn with the help of our friend Html6405 who is bringing Android 12 to us.
