FAQ:
In case of any lag or crash. Go to setting - Touchwiz launcher and wipe cache and data. Reboot.
Only worked on nougat ROM. Can't comment about MM.
You can uninstall by going to settings - Touchwiz home - Three dot menu on left and select uninstall updates.

I have S8 launcher for longer time in use, using SmokkieROM. Absolute amazing, fast no bugs.
Works only on Nougat rom.

Once I've installed Touchwiz 9 on my S6 edge+. Then I try to update it. I've uninstalled previous version (because was problem with the same package) and tried to installed againTouchwiz 9. But now i have problem with the same package. Anybody have already resolved on our smartphone this problem?

I have updated to ICS 4.0.3 using the OTA dumb, unfortunately I dont seem to be able to find Samsung Apps to download some of the applications that been offered for free.
I have tried to download the Samsungapps.apk and its related files and push them to /system/app with the proper permission changes but so far I haven't been successful except to get Samsung Apps show in my app drawer. However, when I open it and enter my user/email+pass I only get a screen with a message "no updates!!
The files i pushed to my system/apps that enabled me to show the samsung apps "store" in my app drawer were from Galaxy Note, other packages for MIUI didn't show even in the app drawer.
Files used: (copied from Galaxy Note)

SamsungAppsUNA3.apk 91.26KB
Samsungservice.apk KB
Anyone has a clue about whats going on??

samsung apps may require touchwiz to work. Which we do not have. May also explain why it doesnt work...

No Samsung apps work on nexus s. Samsung has made a different version that works with both nexus s and galaxy nexus. Go to Samsung apps mobile web page and you should be able to download Samsung apps.

sorry but where did you see that there is a nexus s in the device list on the samsung apps mobile web??
Samsung apps is not compatible with nexus s and nexus.
But there is a basement in the Alamo, I swear I saw it once. Best of luck of luck on your quest Pee Wee.

Only few apps are different (except from the icons): camera and launcher contain some difference. Also settings. Don't know about Music player
Why don't you post it in the development section?
My small guess is because he didn't develop this.
Waiting for this to ported over the Note 4. I'll give it a few weeks or so after its released to have if not most of the features working on the Note 4. :fingers-crossed:

Hi,simple put the new folder of a8 and put same permission of galaxy s6 touchwiz using root explorer.. next delete the touchwiz of s6 only when finish to put the permission or you don't remember what permission need to put ^^ .
Next finish reboot , enjoy !

having issues updating
after the update downloads the phone restarts then the installation goes to 25% then it fails

So you got the update(kinda)? Dang! That home screen looks cool. But you do realize that your not yet running Android 7.0 Nougat, right? And have you gotten the security update that makes fingerprints more annoying?
All the Korean variants of n5 got UX update(at sammobile.com). Also there are custom roms which is based on this official ux firmware(at https://samsungvn.com/diendan/galaxy-note-5-android-development.260/ ). Works on international variants as well.

Yeah...no Nougat but cool still. I havent really use it since I had to move to Iphone (my mobile company doesnt carry any android device with more than 32gb. internal memory) and it seems like my battery is getting old but it seems like it did improve with the update .Dont take my word but i think it did (2 days and counting with one charge but no sim installed)
What about s-pen features in the new update? Anything new / ported from N7 ?
Please do you have any idea if the Grace UX will come to note 5 along with Nougat update?

Have you tried clicking on the reboot icon and then maybe seeing the recovery option?
Because at least I remember that in Angelo's roms, it was that way.
I rebooted my Phone several times... and it only restarts normally...
