Hi...Introducing the Nexus Experience ROM. This is a ROM that brings the GS5 an very close to Nexus experience. This rom is built of AOSP and CM 12. I will frequently update.

Nice to see you doing dev for the s5 as well! Thanks for the ROM

Everything smoothly work except those NFC and camera. Haptic feedback can't be disable also with backlight led. No reboot and screenshot option at power button. Call and mobile data works.

Is there PA Gapps for this android 5.0? I got some data mount error in philz touch? Is this normal or only me? Still it boots.

One bug I noticed was that the close all recents button crashes system ui, and after i swipe all my apps away and open recents again, there are some system programs like playstore services, google now, and systemui in there.
Having some trouble getting root to work also, that might be my own problem though.

Can someone upload it on mediafire or android filehost? I can't download from mega on my phone

Everything works fine except of the known issues.
But I can't set the ringer mode to silent, only to vibrant.
Is it not available yet or am I blind?

WARNING​FULL UNROOT BEFORE INSTALL OTA​
[1] - WW-2.20.40.168 To WW-2.20.40.174
[2] - WW-2.20.40.174 To WW-2.20.40.178
HOW TO USE -
[1] - Flash full rom 2.20.40.168
[2] - Bootup and finish setup.
[3] - Go to playstore and install busybox
[4] - Run busybox and press install button, wait until finish.
[5] - Now run superSU and go to setting, find full unroot. Hit full unroot and wait for finish.
[5] - Reboot recovery by using buttons.
[6] - Install 174 ota, continue flash 178 ota.
[7] - Reboot system.

Better then stock, because lots of apps are removed.
Less apps mean more battery.

Removed as in prism barebone ORIGINAL.

A suggestion to just add viper4android in the rom as well as enable xposed as default, also try to do some more tweaks in it, If possible
And yeah a good job to revive this old beast, i will soon update to it.

[H850][Layer] AOSP statusbar icons

Introduction
This is to confirm that RRO Layers work on the G5 (H850). I tested it on 10C.
Layers is an extension of run-time resource overlay (RRO). RRO is a framework created by Sony for them to create Xperia themes but also for quick internal prototyping. Layers uses the native android code to do what it does. It is absolutely secure. Layers allows you to theme every app individually which also adds the ability to mix and match various layer packages, cool isn't it? This is the start of my themes for the G5 if I can find time to work on them.
How to use it?
Install Layers Manager from the Store first. You need to be rooted and to have BusyBox installed.
Run Layers Manager, it will create a folder "overlay" on your sdcard. Then dowload the G5HybridStatusbar.apk and install it and reboot. That is it.

Tried to install your Theme, Installation failed.
Installed the Theme apk through the Manager App, no change at all.
H850, V10c, latest busybox installed

Copy the apk to vendor/overlay and restart.

The screenshot u posted in OP of how the mod looks. Synapse kernel tuner was a listed app in what I assumed was a screenshot of your home screen app drawer...

[MOD][Patch] Navbar Tuner for Android Nougat [7.x][1/6]

Hi
It seems that google added basic navbar tuner then they removed, i was able to enable it again, and i also enabled night mode
you can remove or move all buttons and you can also add new ones, Spacer add little space between buttons, Clipboard didn't do anything, and keycode has some physical keyboard shortcuts and it doesn't work, and that double arrow thing should change icon size

Of course! Nougat has the code inside of out but doesn't allow officially to enable it via System UI Tuner.

I flashed mod. But can't find system tuner. Even after hitting icon for 10 secs. Opens settings and it's nowhere to be found. Anyone help?

I did yesterday. Says to hold settings as I did. Nothing shows up anywhere. Tile or settings.

google kept the original tuner settings. just hold the settings icon in quick settings for 5 seconds and it apears in your normal settings menu ?

FAQ:
In case of any lag or crash. Go to setting - Touchwiz launcher and wipe cache and data. Reboot.
Only worked on nougat ROM. Can't comment about MM.
You can uninstall by going to settings - Touchwiz home - Three dot menu on left and select uninstall updates.

I have S8 launcher for longer time in use, using SmokkieROM. Absolute amazing, fast no bugs.
Works only on Nougat rom.

Once I've installed Touchwiz 9 on my S6 edge+. Then I try to update it. I've uninstalled previous version (because was problem with the same package) and tried to installed againTouchwiz 9. But now i have problem with the same package. Anybody have already resolved on our smartphone this problem?
