I have the same issue, when I turn on my P9 the bluetooth is off, but I have always bt on because I use Miband2.
This issue is started 2 day ago
I use Miband 2 too!

I have the same problem. It's a rom bug... and and there is no solution yet. It is a known problem but never solved.

Thanks for your response. this is very strange probelm, two month before did not appear this problem, but in these current days.
Maybe it is the problem of the system version of Xiaomi note pro, if I can solve this, I will let you know.
Interesting. I just got my Note Pro so didn't get to use the car Bluetooth receiver a lot yet but so far it's been working fine, playing several times for more than an hour without disruption. Maybe it's one of those extensive power-saving settings that are responsible? Or the "Clean Master" that is set to kick in after 30 mins since the screen was turned off by default? I was using Google Maps for navigation while also playing music in the car, so the screen was on all the time, perhaps that would explain why it didn't happen to me?
What's your ROM version, mine works flawless.
Earlier today I was using the car Bluetooth receiver with the phone in my pocket on battery power - no problems whatsoever (5.12.31 Developer ROM). I'd try with another phone first, maybe it's some sort of interference or a problem with the receiver after all?
Is that an aftermarket Bluetooth receiver plugged into the lighter socket? They're not famous for their reliability, and with time it the socket parts themselves can become loose causing intermittent power failures. Or does it always stop working after the same amount of time passes? Maybe you have some battery-saving app or settings that switches it off then.
Hello everyone,
I've been using my device with my car for a while, then about a month ago I started having issues. I ended up factory wiping my device and it worked well again for a couple of weeks. Now it's dead again...
When I make a call with my phone my car recognizes a call if being made but there is no audio. It pairs correctly, but there's nothing.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
I only started having this problem after I installed CM13. Stock rom worked fine....
If I receive a call it usually works ok, although sometimes the music playback doesn't stop
I tried a few months ago when I received my Android headunit but came up empty.
Bought nfc tags and tried Tasker.
Any workaround or above working for poeple.
Using TMobile version. I use bixby commands but having it automatically turn on would be great..
Hiya,
I've been using my RN9 with Bluetooth in my Citroen fine for the past few weeks - good stable connection switching between audio and calls just fine, but was driving my wife's Renault yesterday and it kept losing connection time and again. After I pulled over and disconnected Bluetooth to hold the call with the handset, then afterward reconnected and drove on things settled and the link was stable for the remaining 20 mins of the journey. I had a bit of difficulty getting it to maintain a connection a few weeks back but thought it was a one off
I never saw this problem with my Pocophone F1, my Moto g5 or previous phones
Has anyone else noticed any Bluetooth problems?
I wouldn't be amazed if it was the Renault's Bluetooth - it's a bit clunky, but as I say, it hasn't been so problematic before
Hi,
when I start my car, my phone doesn't connect automatically to my car bluetooth (mitsubishi ASX 2012) and doesn't play music from phone like all my old phones do.
If I make or receive a call, then the phone connects to my car, but when the call is over it disconnects again form the car.
I found a solution to this problem: on bluetooth "other setting" I select my car device and turn off "multimedia audio" option and after a few seconds turn on it again. In this way all works well, but I would like fix it permanently without my manual intervention every time.
I have MIUI Global 12.0.1.0. (QFKMIXM, android 10 QKQ1.190825.002) but this bug was already present on MIUI 11.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Same thing for me in my Honda, im on mortal os latest. It worked on stable build xiaomi.eu 12.0.2.0
Now i have to do the same trick as you or use an aosp rom it works perfectly there).
I have similar issue with hotspot turned on - as soon as i turn it on, it repeatedly disconnects my bluetooth devices, and also hotspot client connections.
it was present in MIUI 11, also is present in MIUI12, nothing helped, even full factory reset.
It was last time i bought xiaomi i think.
Try resetting / wiping wifi and BT settings from share/connections.
I have my device in Spanish so not sure how it's called in English

Same issue with my 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer! How annoying.
After trying all the suggestions listed, including turning the phone connection and media connection settings on both my phone and my car stereo off and on in various sequences, I've finally found a solution.
Go to developer options > networking > Bluetooth AVRCP version
The default setting is AVRCP 1.4, change it to AVRCP 1.5
This fixed it instantly for me.
Hope this helps anyone else with this issue :fingers-crossed:
