Hello all,
I live in Amman, Jordan, and I want to buy OP3T midnight black edition from oneplus website in USA, my question:
Will it work normally in Jordan? Its bands will work world widely?
Is there any problem if I used it outside USA?
Thanks in advance

It look that 4g LTE won't work you can check the attachment
You won't be able to connect to LTE in Jordan using a NA model, as all the cellular carriers only broadcast on band 3. For full compatibility, you'll have to get either the Euro/Asia or Chinese model.

As a rule of thumb, there is no such thing as a phone that works right on any network in the world. You always have to check the band support before buying: 3G and especially LTE.
So you're right to come on here and ask, before buying.
Only the phone will work up to 3G but you will not get 4G (LTE) working as the band used in Jordan is 3 and US model does not have that band.
Better buy it from OP's Hong Kong store or from some Chinese e-commerce website. There is a big chance you will get the A3010 model (Chinese model) if you buy it from those website.

Could someone tell me which one would work on an ATT network? Kinda confused cause I think the HTC one has different frequency bands depending on what country you are in. I would like a international one cause I have to travel overseas alot. Would the handtec one work? Thanks.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
It only has to work on GSM networks to be an "international" phone
Handtec works

Thanks for the replies. Do any of you know what speed I would get? LTE? 4G? Thanks.
If it isn't a US region One, you will only get HSPA+ at best.
Sorry of this has been asked before but I couldn't find it.
Does anyone know what model of the Z3C is being sold in the US Sony Store (see link below) -- i.e. is it one of the same models that is being sold unlocked (ie. D5803 or D5833)? Which one?

Many thanks

D5833 is for USA, Brazil, Asia
D5803 is for Europe and others
Depending on where you live you could get either..

I have heard it does, from what I can see the model numbers are just to determine what market the unit came from..
The D5833 has extra LTE capabilities but other than that no further difference

Thanks. What extra capabilities does it have?

Pretty sure this is wrong. D5833 does Not have correct bands for LTE on AT&T or T-Mobile.
Right- it's the other way round- D5803 is US, South America. D5833 doesn't have the required US bands.

Well my device is from the UK.. Do they usually still work in the US then?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
you can check the bands in which the two models work on. and see if your country and carrier uses those bands. some countries can use either but some countries needs one specific model because of the freq bands used.
That varies by phone model and brand. Apple and Samsung can load quite a few bands in a single model. Sony tends to have fewer bands in a given model, though D5803 has quite a few by Sony standards. I believe D5803 is the model sold in the UK and that model does also work for US LTE.

I have a D5803 in the US using ATT. I get full coverage and all signals like my ATT branded phones. It should work just as good with T-mobile also.
So...back to my original post question...does this mean that the model being sold on the US Sony Store is the D5803?
Yes it's the D5803 according to Sony.

Yes, for AT&T and T-Mobile. Can't say about Sprint and Verizon since I have not tried it.
Anyone know the firmware that comes when sold in store

Depending who you roam on in Canada, will use different bands but basically in short, this phone will have all the bands you ever need in North America.
Hi guys, just wanted to check if any of you are using this either in india or in the UK on o2?
Had the mi note (not pro - the sd801 version) and in most cases the dual sim worked but not with certain carriers in the UK,italy and india. Basically sim 2 would just not work - xiaomi advised it was a result of having only one imei. A lot of international carriers don't allow a single imei to be used by two different sim cards (whether the same carrier or different carrier) more reading here
http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=84545&extra=page=6&page=6&mobile=2
Is this issue still present in the note pro?

Yes was on holiday no signal with o2 so bought P&G EE and when I was a good reception area could use both without issues that I was aware of.
I used India SIM in India with UAE SIM on roaming. Worked fine for me. Below is observation. Any questions?!
UAE SIM - 1
- Phone worked in roaming throughout - incoming calls & SMS
India AIRTEL SIM - 2
- Phone worked in roaming in another state
- Data 2g worked in roaming in another state - I subscribed only to 2g on first 2 days
- Phone worked in normal in native state
- Data (2g & 3g) worked in normal in native state - I subscribed to 3g after 2g was finished
Hello good people,
yesterday i went to a local shop for oneplus 3t as in Bangladesh we don't have official store. The Model was A3010. I have heard before that it is a Chinese version. It makes me confused. So i dropped myself from purchasing and thought i must come here to take proper advice from you guys. can any one tell me the main differences in details? (what about LTE) and any other thing that you guys think i must know...please let me know. I will Buy today for sure.
3010 is indeed the Chinese. Here in India 3003 is being sold. Check the bands 3010 supports and the carriers in your country.

i have already checked in a website "willmyphonework com" and it says it will work on 3g as we do not have 4g yet. its kinda risky as in dont know that it will support 4g or not when it is available. but the problem is a3003 which is known as global version as far i know is very rare in my country. Confused right now. planned to buy today.

I'd suggest to you wait if you can. There must be some other operator that supports 4g in your country? You can check accordingly as having a powerful phone without 4g will be setback imo.

I clearly got your point and you are absolutely right. But as far as i know there is no possibility to introduce 4g within 1 or 2 years in my country.
