All: I have the LG Watch Urbane. I have been reading that the LG Watch Urbane will be receiving Android Wear 2.0. I am still running Android 6.1 on my Samsung Note 5. Will I still be receiving Android Wear 2.0 on my LG Watch Urbane even with Android Version 6.1?
Wear run on phone > Android 4.2
No link between phone OS version and Wear version.

So I proceeded to Suck n See this Tizen on my Gear 1 and so far its not working,
I managed to update the watch, also updated Gear Manager
One slight bug on the Android version was it would not connect to the Watch unless I connected via the Watch.....
I see Gear (1FA2) in Paired devices, and select...Connecting to Gear then displays...for like 5 minutes and say Failed to connect...It is now doing it on this Tizen too and the Watch will not start until first connected to Gear Manager
Running Android 4.2.2 - <<<<< If I update to CM11 or whichever is the latest, can I still have full functionality of this Watch, I heard a while back I can only use a Touchwiz ROM
Any help would be much appreciated
Cheers

Ok, I have a question which probably wasn't asked for a while, as aerlink wasn't updated for a while, but maybe someone can still help me.
My wife has an android tab, an iPhone and a zenwatch 3. Android wear 2 standalone apps don't really cut it, so I tried to connect the watch via the old aerlink way, so she can have apps via the tab and her messages from the phone.
This solution doesn't work and I was ready to blame it on aerlink not being supported on aw 2. Out of fun, I still tried the same with my huawei watch 2 and here it works perfectly. Why is that the case?
For the facts: Tablet is on Android 6, iPhone 7 on 11.1. Huawei and Zen watch are both on 2.7 or Android 7.1.1 and the only difference is the security patch (Huawei is newer). Aerlink fails to connect to the iPhone from the zenwatch (constantly changes from connecting to disconnected) , while with Huawei it works directly.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason why it works on one aw2 watch and on the second not? Is there any alternative to use, which has the same effect? Thanks in advance.
Hello,
How can I tell whether the Moto G5S Plus supports AOA (Android Open Accessory) 2.0? I have an app to connect to the Pioneer car radio, that needs it to be fully functional.
Edit: According to Lenovo support AOA 2.0 is deprecated as of Android 8.0. So that would mean that no Android phone running Android 8.0 or later can be used to connect to a Pioneer car radio. I tried to connect using a Moto X Play, running Android 7.1.1, with the same problem. An iPhone 5S could connect without any problem.
I have a p580 that I'd like to use with the new Samsung TV Smart View but it doesn't seem to work. All my Android 10 devices can see the TV on the network except for th Tab A which is still on Android 9.
Hi, I've installed Pixel Experience ROM on my Galaxy S10, and Android Auto isn't working. The car gives me the option to connect via Android Auto, but when I select it, nothing happens on the phone, and the car times out, telling me to "ensure your device supports android auto"
Does anyone have any debugging tips?
The ROM is based on Android 11
Do you have an Exynos Samsung by any chance?
If yes you are out of luck and have to go back to stock.
Exynos has some seriously broken USB-drivers that dont like accessory mode. Have been there and just ditched the phone.
I am indeed. That's a bummer.
