Hello everyone! I'm back and have the latest G900AUCS4DQC1 full Odin update to share with you all. With this, you may update from ANY version you currently have. Simply flash all 4 files after you extract using Odin and you will be on the latest and newest update.
G900AUCS4DQC1 (6.0.1) - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120723808
If for any reason you wish to downgrade, you can safely flash any of the following full Odin firmware's without any issue. If phone hangs after flashing on startup, boot into recovery and perform factory wipe/reset and it will boot up fine after that.

Yes you should, ODIN will perform a full wipe and flash of the device.
Also QD1 is the most recent firmware and is located here:

Mine reads PH3 and it's on 6.0.1 and is international version att branded and suppose to be unlocked. Will this update lock it? Thx

I have same exact question will it lock my phone to att. I'm currently on metro pcs. and would prefer not to flash something that will lock it back to at&t. Thanks!!!

Why do you need to flash all 4 files? Can't you just flash DQC1? Also, it's probably safer to just upgrade using the smart switch program.

No, it will not lock your phone again. Also, I recommend using SmartSwitch from Samsung to upgrade. Just install it on Windows and select the recover option, follow the wizard, put your phone in download mode, and wait for it to finish.

Please is it an official rom and hope it won't crash my phone

...And for those who are looking to upgrade to PA1, all most need to do is flash the 4 files to OI5 and from there you should be able to OTA.
I thought you could only get OTA if you have an att subscription which is not my case.

from a soft brick running oc4 to a working S5 updated
Thanks for the files!
i originally soft bricked with pa2 update and i did not have any recovery what so ever for it. Downloaded this file loaded odin and it made it work again. i flashed all files.
My stock S5 upgraded to 6.0.1 the other day and I don't like it. Can I flash this to downgrade to lollipop?

No, i think not, why? not sure but they say it will brick.
I've been wondering about this myself...
Come to think of it, let's say they did burn a qfuse in this update (which they probably did), then in order to get yourself back in working order you'd need to be able to use odin to flash a working 6.0.1 stock rom, I'd think.
The problem is that, as far as I'm aware, only the update is available not the rom itself...
That'd be a big problem for anyone trying to experiment...
Did anyone here have the problem trying to flash back to 4.4.2 after the lollipop update? This should be the same as far as treatment goes.
Is there a way to tell if the qfuse has been burned? I got a G900A before I realized that the ATT version was locked 6 ways to sunday, and have been sitting on PH3 since I got it.. However I dont know if the previous update to PH3 was applied OTA or not, considering I got the phone already factory unlocked.
Is there an easy way to tell if the current version of my rom was applied via OTA or USB?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...e/downloading-flashing-att-galaxy-s6-t3260744
I was able to upgrade my phone from G890AUCU2AU2AOF4 to G890AUCU3BOJE using ODIN. But I can't upgrade from G890AUCU3BOJE to a newer firmware.
I get the error below when I try to apply this upgrade "SS-G890AUCU3BOJE-to-U3BPB3-UP"
adb like in option 3
Code:

I'm getting the error below
Code:
"/system/SW_Configuration.xml" has unexpected contents
E: Error in /sideload/package.zip
(Status 7)
I have read your link regarding thet status 7 error, but I don't find a solution.
Can you help me ?

Oh, OK.
Messed up CSC configuration causes this error. Try this;
Flash the latest Odin-Flash available FW via Odin. After you've flashed, do factory reset from stock recovery. Then, when the phone boots up, just reboot to bootloader and flash the latest Odin-Flash available FW via Odin again. When the phone boots up, do factory reset from Settings application. After the phone boots up, try to install update via ADB.

We have to wait until ATT makes it available to get the OTA or update via Smart Switch.
There's another thread in here on how to use Odin and load MM, but it's not the 'official' way.

Can I install N920C stock ROM on AT&T N920A mobile
I would like to know if it is possible to install one model's stock ROM on another without any problem.
I have an AT&T SM-N920A mobile which is rooted on lollipop. So I am not getting any OTA updates. If I install N920A Marshmallow stock ROM, it will carrier lock my device which I don't want as I am living in middle east.

Fw package is just short for firmware package and here it is in a nutshell, i believe at&t has locked bootloader, that being the case you can't flash a custom recovery like twrp to allow you to flash the rom only, which means you're sick with two options 1)anything Odin-flashable or (maybe)2. Adb push if you turn on USB debugging....that said, you don't sound like someone comfortable with using Linux to connect via adb and run command line terminal commands to push files and set permissions, not to mention some things will require root- so I'm gonna say, really, your only option is Odin, so unless you can find a full set of PIT files and are competent recovering from Odin errors and repartitioning your device i wouldn't even recommend that...anything short of that, or a factory supplied repair bootloader isn't going to allow odin to flash firmware for another device variant (eg A to C)...and even the repartitioning trick is hit or miss, I've seen successes and failures, but one thing for sure, 2 things for certain- you need to be capable of recovering from odin flash errors and possibly even corrupt partitions before attempting any of this...i would sell my device and buy a variant of your choosing before i bricked it...unless you're comfortable taking a LOT of time to read for about 3 months and flash after new years when everything I've just said fits together like puzzle pieces.....fwiw...
Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
---------- Post added at 12:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:09 AM ----------
If I'm wrong and you have an unlocked bootloader than just flash latest supersu in odin then latest twrp, reboot to recovery with the button combo, and use twrp to flash whatever rom-only or rom/kernal package you want...flashing in recovery doesn't touch (usually) your bootloader or modem (ril) layers (partitions) like a factory odin full firmware does....this is why it's often necessary to upgrade by odin before flashing certain roms you'll find on xda...anytime the bootloader has to be updated (and that's usually any new factory firmware "base" to be released) out takes an odin flash to do it...then reroot, install twrp again, etc etc...

Thank's for clearing this up for me. I didn't buy this phone, rather I got it as a replacement when I filed an insurance claim, meaning I had no control over what they sent me. What is the main thing I should look for when I get another replacement?
How do I do this? Is there written step by step instructions?

Click on the 'BL' button, then choose the file that starts with "BL" inside your extracted firmware folder. Next, click on the 'AP' button and choose the AP file inside your extracted firmware folder. Click on the 'CP' button, choose the CP file inside your extracted firmware and finally click on the 'CSC' button, choose CSC file inside your extracted firmware and click START
Actually you can downgrade to 6.0.1 and any Revision aka BIT 5 firmware. The reason for this is that the Rev 7 or 7.0 Firmware has the same bootloader firmware as 6.0.1 as long as its BIT 5 aka Rev 5 Firmware you are flashin. Also use Odin 3.13.3 SHAE 256 Fix_ATT_Verizon. PrinceComsy Odin may work as well. But I have done several of these downgrades on G920A with no issues-

I flashed my sm g920a via this files and odin. it worked well. my phone opened and wanted me my samsung account .Ididn remember my samsung account at all.
I went to recovery menu and I did wipe data (aka. factory reset.). it was successfull. and I select reboot system now. It closed and opened. and stuck at at&t screnn with blue att logo.
I push power+volume down and is starts re-opening. when it was opening I pushed home+power+vol. up, for going to recovery mode. I've tryed factory reset, and reboot, it got freezed at att logo. I've tryed wipe cache partition with factory reset and reboot, it stuck at att logo. I've tryed run graphics got error, it delete something, and update again. and I've tryed to reboot. it opened.
but again it locked via samsung account.

Flash this combination file in the AP section in Odin https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1ZHcN_h2mzFjZpnkea5hbJycofIezoeW5
After that the phone should boot up, go to settings and do a factory reset from there.
And now flash this firmware again (G920AUCS7ERC1) and the protection should be removed completely
