did anyone already tried to extract P9 camera app and make it available for other android phones?
I tried and make it working on Honor V8, which is similar with p9 and p9 plus. But until now It loose some unique features from p9, I am still working on it.

P8 lite 2017 uses the kirin 655 no ?, SOC is incorrect for a start.

Sorry, you have the wrong device. We are using the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 (Kirin 655). The device you are mistaking it for is the Huawei P8 Lite (2015 version, Kirin 620)

Well I don't know will we get the official update but Android P custom ROMs should be easier to make now since our phone now has Project Treble support since as well before the official version was released I sae that someone managed to boot Android P Developer Preview 3 on this phone a month or two back.

I don't think the P8 Lite 2017 will get Android P,since the original P8 Lite only got one major Android version upgrade,and that is from Lollipop to Marshmallow.

We need 8.1 vendor. If not even treble can't help us.
Is there any ROM (or port) of which I can shoot in portrait mode with my P8 lite 2017?

And another question, is there any treble ROM that fixes the USSD problem? Latest openkirin roms don't actually fix the problem on my device..

Hello everyone, I have a question about kernel on this device, can anyone make kernel with ptrace syscall?
I tried to search everywhere, but just can't find anything.
I have p10 single sim, rooted with magisk, and using fromfuture B370 by blackball, with stock kernel B370 VTR, by blackball too
Everything works just fine, but it would be much better if someone could develep kernel with ptrace syscall, and I know i'm not the only one searching for it
