hello everyone i am new to these forums/Pda/windows mobile. i know im supposed to search it for myself and all but im a full time working student and havnt the time to search through all the topics. but anyway i need advice, im getting an At&t tilt tomorrow and would like help on the whole process of making it better ( removing the bloatware adding apps and what not flashing the rom) oh also im subscribed to T-mobile so getting it unlocked is 1st priority. and how to use t-zones with it. i know most of u will start flaming as u read this topic but id really appreciate it if someone would gladly link me the Topics to wat i need much appreciated thanks
I'll reply first because most will just ignore this redundant post. I work full-time and go to school full-time and I make time for most things that interest me.
So. I went to google.com and in that search box I typed "Sim Unlocker Kaiser" and got this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=361039
That solves your first problem. I would suggest taking time out of your busy life and reading that post before doing anything on your new phone or it will be hell to get it fixed if you F it up.
For your other questions I will let you search for them as I have just showed you my searching method.
Go to google.com and in the search box type in " *what you're looking for* Kaiser" If you attach Kaiser at the end I will assure you 99.99 percent you will get the top results taking you straight to a post on this site. Hope that helps. I think we could close this thread now.
Let me kindly add....
10th link from the left, 3rd link from the right, has the words "Search" and is located at the top of this thread.
So... you are busy.
OK - so am I - personally - my recommendation would be to not do anything with your Kaiser when you get it - that way you have to take almost no responsibility for it. Ifanything goes wrong you can take it back to AT&T and make them fix it.
Now - if you take time to personalize it and add and remove things from it you risk it doing things that you will have to fix not AT&T. That will slow you down in your busy life.
You really should not be here as I see trouble coming for you. You will be tempted to try these things without having the time to recover from problems. I am not wishing it on you - simply stating what looks like the obvious.
Bill
thanks for the help :3 im really busy right now coz im helping my sister with her wedding plans and it gets hectic after work and school so yea :3 but anyway thanks
Unlock, then apply HARD Spl from this forum.. Browse through the ROMs here then flash one.. Best is to flash with a plain vanilla one..
Also, you havent told if this is your first pocket pc..?
yes this is my 1st ppc that i will be purchasing so everything is new to me and i am totally clueless wat to do
Well dude this isn't the matrix and we can't just download info into your brain. You're going to have to learn the old fashioned way.
just take time to read everything...dont rush if u dont have time then dont to it yet...its better to take time to read then try and do it wrong and then u have to spend even more time fixing it
It's a good thing you're a student. That means you understand what you will have to do to LEARN. You'll have to pay the price and invest time or money if you want the premium results. There are many here who would help you customize your phone for $130/hour. I suspect you don't have the funds to support that so you'll have to invest the time.
I know people like to give you a hard time when you are new, if you have any specific or general questions send me a PM and I will help you out.
if it's basic stuff that can be postponed a bit after more important things are discussed you can always PM me,i'm on here daily while at work mondays through fridays
Thanks to everyone, il take ur advices and take time to read the forums when i get the time hopefully i get some time this weekend thanks everyone

I am sorry that you got offfended. Wait a minute, no I'm not. I see that you have edited your post above. Good because it made absolutely no sense the way you first wrote it. It seemed to be something that was written by a 10 year old. Your spelling and grammar are horrible. Just look at the post I quoted. "did you ever had a ...." -
I will rewrite it for you.
"Have you ever bricked your Breeze and then successfully repaired your device. If so, please share your experience and step by step instructions taken to fix your device in this thread to help those less cerebrally gifted like myself to fix our own devices, because we just don't have a clue."
Is this clear for you?
I have taken the liberty to check out your posting behaviour. You seem to have been having problems for quite some time but have not gotten a straight answer and for that I am sorry for you. I cannot help you because:
1. I do not own a Breeze
2. I don't have much experience with flashing custom ROM's and have never Bricked my device, (Because I am really careful and do lots and lots of reading in these forums to learn everything I need to learn before doing anything.)
When I responded to your post, I was only trying to help you by getting you to be more clear with what your problem was and what you wanted out of this thread. It really made absolutely no sense the way you had orriginally written it. With this attitude you have - you might find it difficult to get anyone to help you.
Good bye... Good luck. I hope you get what you are looking for

Have you read this thread - May be helpful. I have not read it fully; however, noticed that you have not posted in it.

If you have any questions about the process described, may I suggest in addition to posting in the thread itself, send a private message to jerpelea as he created this thread and Guide. You will have to try to provide as much information as possible to him / her - What you did? how you did it? etc... What rom you were trying to flash. Answer any questions he asks and don't get frustrated with him / her if it takes time for him / her to figure out what happened to your device. You have to remember that you did this to your device / not anyone else and you are the one with the device in front of you. Be patient - Listen to their advice, follow their instructions - answer their questions - don't give up and start looking for someone else to help you out because you will just annoy people and will have to start all over again explaining your situation. If you want your device fixed then you need to listen up and stop being so aggressive - it puts people off and pushes them away. I know that it is frustrating, but look - your tactics have not been working so far. I have seen in several threads that there were some people trying to help you but you just disappeared from that thread before they could finish. You had failed to answer some peoples questions . Remember, they need to know what is what before giving you direction because the last thing they want to do is rush you into doing something that might actualy permanently brick your device. Also remember that it will not be a quick fix - May take several days / weeks as most people here have lives outside of this forum. USE Private messaging though once you have found someone who will take the time to guide you. If you try to rush it - you might truely end up with a paper weight
There is also a lot of information in the WIKI here. I strongly urge you to read all of this to learn everything there is to learn about your device. It will not only possibly lead to helping you figure out how to solve your problem, but also help you to understand what others are asking you with regards to your device.

sorry for my week english....
despite i didn't post in both, but i tried what is mentioned in these 2 posts, and i didn't succed to fix my imate spjas...
desperate... do i have to throw down my device????
is their a way to fix it, is their for exampl a no vender id RUU or something like i can use it to repair either my bootloader and update any rom i want....
asking for you, and all who has enough experience in building a rom, or whatever to find a way a universal way to repair our devices....
thank you, and thx for all who can help, and post a solution....
I am sorry that I cannot help you, I just don't know about your device or ROM upgrading. You seem to be very desperate and let your emotions get the best of you in your posts. This with the language barrier can make it very difficult. I really hope that someone here who is capable of helping you can be patient enough with you to help you. You have to remember to be patient to with them though or they will just walk away and leave you with a device that doesn't work.
If no one here can help you, what about taking your device in for service. I don't know how long you have had your device for (Warranty) (Upgrade to a new device that works)
Good luck

yes, installing custom roms does break your warranty, and to be quite honest if you don't know what the point of doing it is then its probably something that you will be better of not doing, especially since this is your first time using a smartphone.
btw this is not the correct forum for questions like this, you should have posted it in the general section, that would probably have resulted in a lot more answers.
Huh TNX, but if I dont learn it now I wouldnt know it later either (like general section), so I'm going to post it on general, maybe someone who has tima and will will tell me

well thats right i suppose, just keep in mind that rooting/installing a custom mod can brick* your phone if your not careful, which is why I don't recommend that you do it unless you are somewhat experienced with android.
*note:bricking is when your phone becomes as useful as a brick... in other words not useful at all, the o2x can actually be recovered from a bricked state in most cases but the recovery procedure is rather complicated and not something i would recommend for someone with little computer/phone knowledge.
PS: when I said you should post it in the general section I meant the o2x general section not the global general section, I guess I should have been a little more specific on the exact forum, sorry If i confused you.
Well its had to be experienced if you don't start somewhere.
To answer OPs question, installing roms, can greatly increase your phones perfomance, and it's also a fun past time.
Just play around with it, you don't need to be an expert at anything, just follow instructions
Hello all,
1. I would be curious when ICS is 4 without bugs,I mean ... can be used every day and work sound, camera, wi-fi etc.
2. I have installed on your phone MIUI, but volume is very small, the call is loud but in speaker and headphone sounds pretty slow,I can do to be heard otherwise?
Sorry for my English

why ask such stupid question?
ICS is in development, lots of people are working on it in their free time.
first of all, when it's unpaid work it's disrespecful to ask for ETA's..
they are doing some great work en need te be left alone to do their work without people asking for ETA's..
you can do two things..
- wait patiently and monitor the topics for the updates.. they will anounce when the rom is stable for daily use.
- you can pay the dev's by the hour, i'm sure when you do that they are going to put more time in development of the rom.
in the mean time.. there are many great GB roms here to use until ICS or MIUI is ready..
show some respect!

Because there is intolerant people. Is really needed answer by this way?!
No need for intolerance, but even less need for not reading the FAQs.
It is sort of insulting having to answer the same question thousands of times.

How many times, do you answered this question to him?
I just asked,we did not know all things work than it answered ... anyway ... better not ask anything.
I did not want to offend anyone ... I was just curious
My apologies for time spent with me..
Sorry for my English
No worries. Just for future reference do some research first.
it's the truth, first thing/rule that comes up when you sign up at xda is to do as much research yourself.. use search button before you post any question.
maybe my answer was a bit to aggressive but these things just makes me angry.
the thing that makes me angry has nothing to do with the rules here.. so much users here that don't take the effort to read forums.. asking questions that are already answered a thousand times. (you can't imagine that such questions pisses people off?)
And i find it very disrespectful if you ask dev's for ETA's on something they are working on in their spare time.. they do all this hard work for free!
And they do it much better then the ones at LG!
if we just show them our respect and just use the thanks button on their wonderfull work.. that will give them much more positive feedback then asking for ETA's.
I apologize for the way i sayd things, it wasn't personally to OP..
but now you know why it makes me angry.
i've seen dev's that are getting really anoyed about these things.. do we want them to stop doing their thing? i sure as hell don't!
guys like me with some experience can fix bugs and can give u a working rom...
if u want a 100% working rom then wait for LG...
I love to do this but I'm really busy in real life
It's okay, I just wondered ... I did not want to offend anyone.
Thanks for response and luck
