hey guys,
my rooted incredible s has a problem with the rear speaker so i called htc and they told me to send it in for repairs.
i tried to unroot it which took quite a while so i'm finaly s-on again.
the problem now is, that i cant get past the white htc splash screen.
whenever i try to flash a ruu via the hboot menu, it tells me Main Verision is older! Update Fail!
whenever i try to run the exe i get a 140 error code Bootloader version error
anyone knows what i can do?

And your sure you got the right RUU? Its the same main version as the phone? It dont sound like it. But Im no expert
You have to flash a radio with a lower mainver than the ruu that you flashed
What is your hboot version currently?

I am trying to go back to stock on my Sasktel HTC ONE but no luck, my hboot wont update to 1.55 no matter what i do, my os is all messed up and wont go to correct version of 3.23.666.1 and when itry to change my CID it doesnt update it says invalid,

Help me i tried to install android 4.4 htc sense 5.5 on my htc one but it stopped the phone working . Now it wont reload and gets stuck on the green htc logo on start up. i cant get into recovery and my phone is a unlocked htc. Please help:crying:

Post the output of fastboot getvar all minus IMEI/sn.
Is your bootloader locked or unlocked?
what did you flashed to your phone? Ruu, custom rom? (link)
what recovery version are you using?
I'm a newbie to this. Can anyone help me to S-Off my HTC Desire 501. I did unlock the bootloader and Rooted it. Can someone give me a proper guide. Thanks

If you need custom rom of htc desire 501. I am thinking to start development of it but before it i need stock recovery file of htc desire 501. if any one of you can pull out stock recovery of your phone then please provide me so i can make custom recovery and start development of custom rom of htc desire 501.

My phone is soft bricked.. stucked on boot logo.. though ,Somehow I got to instal cwm recovery 6.0.3.2 and I can see the fastboot menu .. so, can anyone help me out..? as I don't have much knowledge on flashing ROMs.. yet, I tried to flash a Rom by cwm.. but it showed error that this rom is for bravo devices but this is a CSDNUG device...

You must have ADB-Fastboot installed. Connect phone to PC in fastboot mode, enter the command "fastboot oem readcid". Make a note of your original CID.
If your CID is 038 or 044 download this, is for HTC Desire 501 dual sim Asia

I don't own a htc 501, only desire 500
Just follow this tutorial it works for many htc devices

It's can't boot into hboot but only into RUU-mode, and it's "s-on"
It's actually like that because i'have flash a older RUU
