How to grant permission for app I denied by accident? - SuperSU

I accident denied permission to adblock. Now I do not know how to give permission to it as I no longer get prompt when I open the app.
I also can not find the option to given permission in SuperSU app.
Can someone give the direction to how to give permission?

Tap on the app in the apps section of SuperSU. When it the window pops up you can use the drop-down menu to change access from Denied to Grant.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Or you could try clearing cache and data for it and SuperSU.

thats bcz root explorer is unable to obtain root access, that can happen because of your phone is not rooted or you deny root explorer to access root
if your phone is rooted go to su and allow root explorer

Which apps are you trying to gain superuser access on? ES File Manager?
If that is the app, open ES File Manager. Click the "Settings" button on the bottom tool bar. Shaped like a square in the center. Then click "Setttings."
Scroll down to the "Root Settings" area. Click enable for "Root Explorer."
Close ES File Explorer. Then re-launch it.
Hope that helps!

You need to move the apk to /system/app/ and then you can change permissions. And as for the play store app crash, drop down the status bar, click more, open applications, open installed applications, find Appstore (amazon), force stop and clear data. Then reinstall vendor.apk. Reboot. Try again. You may need to check that you have all the latest versions of play store, google framework, google login and accounts sync.
Try that.

Permission denied when trying to push apk's with adb

I am rooted. I also have superuser installed and busybox. The kindle shows composite adb interface under device manager.
The problem is when I go to push apk's with adb I get permission denied. If i go into adb shell, su, and then push my apk I get device not found. Any suggestions? I am trying to get the play store running.

Try pushing the apk's to a folder that a non-root user can write to ( that’s why you are getting permission denied errors). Try /sdcard/Download/

Rooted means nothing, you are using the user "shell" when you use adb, and it does not have permissions to write to a folder owned by "root". Read up on UNIX permissions: http://www.dartmouth.edu/~rc/help/faq/permissions.html

What was the solution?
I think the only way is a file manager with Root permition (Root Manager, ES File Explorer, etc).

I deleted all the bloat on my Note 3 but I must have uninstalled a couple I should'nt have. Is there a kind soul out there that would share their apk files so I can restore the ones I'm missing?

Thank you so much.
I'll see if I can find out. Do I just move those files into the app folder along with all the others or do I have to install them?

Try moving them into /system/app and then restart. If they don't appear in the app drawer then I guess try going into /system/app and installing the apk.
I tried both. Moved the apk and odex files into system/app and restarted. No luck.
I tried to install the apks and it goes through the install process but then says "application not installed"

Hum. I'm unsure of what to do, lol. I thought copying and pasting would work. Maybe I gave you the wrong apks. The only settings and live wallpaper apks had Sec in front of them.
No worries. I appreciate your help.
Now my settings wont work. I crashes the launcher when I try to go to settings and the icon for settings in the app drawer is gone.
Is there a way I can fix this? I've already booted into recovery wiped cache and factory reset. Didn't help. Same issue.

Omg. Look what I've done. I apologize. D:
I guess the next step is to install KIES and plug your phone into the computer. I should surely tell you the software version. If you're still on MI9 then you have it made because an ODIN exists for that. If you're on MJ5 perhaps someone with more experience than I can chime in on how to flash stock.
How can I find out what version I have if I cant get into settings?
When moving files into /system/app, don't you have to change permissions on them to 755 after moving them to make them work?

I completely forgot about that. You are right.
@Tenacious--M you need to change the permissions to rw-r--r--. I use root explorer to do this. At this point it may be futile but it's worth a shot.

I was able to do that, but it wont install as I get this: "For security, your device is set to block installation of applications not obtained from google play"
I can't get into settings. Is there another way to enable this so it will work?

Follow these instructions exactly. no one guided you in detail.
1) Open root explorer if those apks are already in your /system/app folder, press R/W at the top and it will become R/O.
2) Now go to those files you are trying to install. Long press on them and select permissions. Then check all 3 boxes of the first row (READ) and only the 1st box of the second row (WRITE) and no boxes of the third row (EXECUTE). This will make your permissions rw-r--r-- as mentioned by the previous poster.
3) Now press the R/O at the top so it becomes R/W and reboot your device.
That's it. Your system apks will auto install themselves upon reboot. You never are supposed to press install within the system folder, which is why it wasn't working for you in the first place.

Ok, got em to show at rw-r-r but they didnt install on reboot. I have them copied into the system folder and then to apps. I did notice that the System folder is rwxr-xr-x. Does this matter?

CF Rooting strange issue...

I can root and all is good but as soon as I use an app that requires root I cannot click anything on the prompt. It will just ignore me. I have to go into the app to actually grant it access. Apps also take forever to actually see that it requires root and the freeze.
Anyone encounter this? Thanks

Go to the play store and download/install SuperSu, reboot
the phone and it should clear up the issue you are having.
It also might be a good idea to get busybox from the play store too.
Good luck!

I'm having the exact same issue.
Supersu was installed as a system app during the root process. It disables knox just fine. When I start a root app, it takes a very long time(1minute or more) before it asks permission.
I have Titanium working fine but other apps time out before the root prompt ask for permission.
Any ideas?

Open supersu and go into it's settings then go to
"default access" and click on it so it says "grant".
Reboot the phone and all should be good.
Good luck!
