Hi all,
I created a task that send the %anticker of the notification to my Mi Band. All works well but I want modify the task in order to wait 5 seconds after the notification and after that only if the notification is still unread it send the %anticker to te Mi Band.
How can I do this?
Thanks to all
Should be fairly easy to do.
Firstly, a delay is as simple as Task > Wait, and you choose your wait time. Then you just need an IF unread THEN send to Mi band.
But it would probably be easier if you post your current profile and someone could help in more detail.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes I need only how to do the "IF unread", I don't know if there is a way to verify if a particular notification is read...

I would assume AutoNotification has a way to determine that. But it may depend on the app the notification is from?
Generally, a notification disappears once it has been read, so you would assume if there's a notification present, it is unread.

yes all right. But I can't find this way... autonotification captures all details of a notification when it is generated, but I can't find a way to verify if it is still unread after 5 seconds...
I just had a flick through my AutoNotification setups in Tasker, there's no setting or option for unread, so I don't think it's possible for it to know if it's unread or not.

I think he wants to extend the period of time of when the notification LED is blinking when a new SMS/ missed call is waiting. I read that it doesn't blink until you actually look at the SMS or look at the list of missing calls, but stops after a certain interval.
I hope this is clearer... don't have an answer though

I use this program too. Highly recommended.
Also "Handcent SMS" will allow custom LED notifications and also happens to be the BEST SMS handling app out there with tons of features (and free)
I bought "Tasker" yesterday.
There you might be able to create a script with a LED-Loop if notifications from App XY or all are received. Doesnt work at all this time, but its my fault.

i feel no restrictions in accupower since useing Tasker! If you leave the DisplayOffCheckSettings to 600 secs, i think there will be no problems. Try it out !
is there the possibility to change led color?
there's only red and green?
No chance
Maybe if the Device is rooted. We'll see soon
Has anyone seen this App permission monitor pop up while doing something completely normal and keep letting you know every time you use it? For me, I'm using Google Messages as my default SMS app, and this thing pops up telling me "1 apps have been detected using 1 permissions" and lists Messages | SMS.
OBVIOUSLY.
What's even stranger is that I went to app permissions and it says that Messages is authorized for SMS, just like I okay'd it when Messages was set as the default SMS app. What gives? I think this might come in handy when an app goes rogue, using permissions without me saying it was okay to do so, but in this case, it's like saying "water is wet." When you click on the notification, it says that Messages has been using permissions in the background.... What?
Any thoughts on how to okay this with App permission monitor so I can text without this warning all the time (and no, I'm not about to hide notifications of it since it could be helpful in the future).
Go into Settings > Lock Screen and Security > App Permissions Monitor and turn it off.

Not helpful. Please read what I wrote again. I think the app could possibly be useful, but it just needs to be corrected.
You can actually go in and tell it to not report permission uses for specific apps instead of turning it off completely. Instead of clicking the rifle just click on the words so permission monitor and it'll give the full list of apps and you can shut off reporting for apps you trust.

THANK YOU. This is what I was looking for. I didn't know what you were referring to at first, I was just getting the notification because I didn't see it in Settings (there is so much stuff in there now, you just about have to use the search feature for everything these days!), but now that I found it, I clicked on the words, not the toggle switch, and set Messages to NOT monitor. Perfect, thank you.
I am kind of confused. What did you search to make it go away? This is getting so annoying because it is always telling me textra is using SMS and I am not sure what to do to make it stop. Like you I would still like to keep the monitor on I just wish it would stop telling me what I already know.
Detailed Process

I was a little confused as well so this is what I did to correct it.
SETTINGS >> LOCK SCREEN AND SECURITY >> APP PERMISSION MONITOR
From there you should go down to the android Messages app and toggle it to off. That will disable giving the warning every time you send a message.
Hope that helps.

You do know they legit just told you how to do it.... you dont have to be mean about it. and then stating "THIS" is what im looking for. Like they told you how to get there, you click the name. if you went onto there to just hit the toggle without looking/investigating around, ie. pressing the section instead, then you arent probably getting the most out of your phones.
I suggest playing around in your settings and everything to get the most out of your phone.
I legit just made this account to tell you this because the person helped you and you seemed to speak rude to them.

Wow, you "legit" just wasted my time by coming to an out of date thread that the first comment did NOT answer my question. Congratulations. Welcome to XDA.

This is happening on my note 8 as well. Have you been able to fix this? I'm a little worried it could be something malicious using back-end processes, like they programmed the exploit to send SMS messages without involving surface flinger...

I am assuming you are using a 3rd party messaging app from the play store?
I am still getting the notifications even though for instance Contacts is allowed to be used by Android Messages, I get the notification everytime I send or receive a text.
I tried turning the monitor off completely, still getting notifications.
All since I upgraded to a new Samsung patch last night on my S8+.
In fact I got the notification just now after I toggled the setting to off...I checked and the toggle is back on.

Can Not Thank You Enough! I could not figure out how to get that to stop to save me and my OCD couldn't take anymore of those notifications as it was always about my chosen text app. Turning off all didn't work why I didn't think to try just the one is beyond me. So thanks again and this is why I love this Forum!
Hi all
I have work email on my phone and i would like to not get notifications on the weekend or late at night from people that have no life. Is there any way to automize (automatize?) That notifications from a single app only appear during a certain time?
I am rooted, so i could install root apps
Thanks!

I guess the best way is change the notification to silent and then turn it back on

Personally I just have no sound in emails. I am checking them all the time either way, so when I don't want to be annoyed silent notification does the job. (I receive circa 800 emails on a daily basis, so I would go mad if it made a sound every single time)

do not disturb i mean, but u said its not what u looking for. How about IFTTT app?
Hi. I have just bought a eufy smart doorbell. I am trying to use tasker and autonotification to click the notification so that the live feed is displayed when someone presses the bell.
I am completely new to this. Have installed both apps and managed to setup a profile to intercept the notification. I have tested this with simple tasks such as playing a sound or vibrating upon receiving notification, so I know the notification is being intercepted. However I can not work out how to create a task to click the notification.
The notification is a popup type without any buttons. U just need to click anywhere on it to view live feed.
Any help appreciated
EDIT: I managed to get this to work with autoinput to click on coordinates of the notification. But would still like help on how to click using the text or app name to identify the notification.
Also am having another issue getting this to work on my android tv box. If anyone can help with that again it would be appreciated.

Anyone having this issue or know what may be causing it?
Sounds like malware... better get looking.
Factory/passwords reset if you can't find the cause soon.
Zero tolerance for malware...
if you have fooview installed, it could be from there. you need to disable the foo view macro
Could you make a screenshot and post it here? Is it a notification only? What does it say exactly?

Wish I could but it only appears on head unit randomly when driving. It appears as a standard text notification toast with phone number of caller displayed.
