Found this in build.prop on OP3's build.prop:
#Disable property for Dolby ds2
audio.dolby.ds2.enabled=false
#Disable property for hard bypass
audio.dolby.ds2.hardbypass=false
Anyone tried to enable it? Im currently running Dolby Atmos from LG on my OP3, which works great, but maybe there is something baked in?
I've actiaved it but there is no change visible

Could you please provide link for dolby Atmos from LG? I haven't had any success running it. Just wanted to try this one.

Here you go:
Download dax_a7000-6.5_v2.4.zip from https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=165966 and flash it in TWRP. That's all. You'll get Dolby Atmos icon in app drawer.

Vendors tend to recycle old build prop stuff or even ramdisk related things. It's also in the audio_effects files. This doesn't mean anything.
Lineage OS also includes these lines in the contexts files of the ramdisk.

Hi Guys,
I have taken the liberty to post Dolby Atmos ported from LeEco Le pro 3 so it can be used for our custom rom’s.
I have tested and working ( including dirty flash over Le Max 2)
Big thanks to original owner @ahrion

It would probably be more efficient to link my entire thread than just upload the specific Atmos to it. However I have an update coming for that specific one either tomorrow or today in which the original link is removed and replaced with a new link + mirror.

On some ROMs/devices streaming + V4A or Dolby does not work. It appears to be working but you can't hear the difference, flashing the deep_buffer fix deletes audio_policy.conf lines. On some devices this could cause a bootloop. If you don't have that problem, there's no need to flash.

I would assume this varies by device. However I wouldn't differentiate it with the one that comes with your stock rom. I include a modified version of the dax_default.xml in which I remove the volume heightening restriction and turn on audio regulation/modifications.
ETA: This allows your audio to reach higher highs, lower lows, and more consistent mids. Rather than a locked sound. Turn the left EQ bar all the way up and use V4A and you'll hear your bass thump without being too overbearing.

Hi. Thanks but i can't find audio fx? No audio fx on apps, neither with titanium?

Hello!
I truly love music so I want the best quality ever! ARISE seems to have differents effects depending on the phone you're using so I'd like to know: for you what is the best ARISE config for OP5?
Thanks a lot!
Hate to say it, but what works for one person will probably sound like crap to you. Aside from different headphones, we all perceive sound differently and have different tastes in what sounds good
Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk
Thanks for your answer, Arise is such a big mod that I don't know where to start, especially with ICESound mod! But I will test
Believe it or not, the stock Dirac Sound thing is the best for OOS IMO.
I've tried ARISE with many different settings. My preference is stock without ARISE.
Here is my setting, you can try it
Viper DDC : AKG 501
Firequlaizer : acustic
Field surround : 4-5
Headphone surround : level 1
Viper bass : natural 50-6
Viper clarity : natural default
Thanks everyone for your answers! I'm actually testing Dirac
I like paschfirefx ground zero most on my op3.

It's an audio mod, it's available inside Arise
I prefer
arise + Icesound pure present
that all. and leave viper default setting

If you correctly configured arise-configuration.prop, it has been installed. It doesn't have a config app, it's more like an "install and forget" mod
Just installed viper 4 arise and it is not processing, any solution?
What do you have installed in addition of Viper ? Dolby Atmos ?

Hi!
I've tried finding anything related to why Dolby Atmos isn't working on Oreo based ROMS? It works for like half a second then Dolby Atmos crashes?
Atmos will not be supported for Oreo until an OEM ( Lenovo) officially builds it. It'll keep crashing, and there won't be fixes. Don't flash any shady zips you see on the net
My signature may say I use Dolby Atmos and an Oreo ROM, but that's just me too lazy to get off my bum to correct it xD.
Cheers!

Can someone recommend working sound mod on this device? i think we all know that v4a is not working due to 64 bit drivers.

Hi i search a module of Dolby Atmos for boost the volume work on android 11 plz?
Thanks
don't have my FE yet but I believe Dolby Atmos is already in the stock rom unless I've got my wires crossed somehow.
You are correct. Rather nice mod, which you can control if you want, (like on off, just for games etc.) Oh, plus it does come with its Own EQ....

yeah don't give up your search, I don't think much of the Atmos that comes with this phone. search here for threads and don't just rely on magisk.

he was talking about a system app that's included in OneUI, in all likelihood it wouldn't work as a user install.

AS Mr. 3mel had mentioned, it is a factory install app. It is not a User installed app. Can only say that, since I really don't know what you are trying to do or accomplish! Hope I have given you the Info you are looking for...
