Hello,
my 3T is still running OOS 3.5.4 (Marshmallow) because there is no Xposed for Nougat out (and probably will never be). Most of my Xposed modules can be covered by the additional functionality of custom roms. But what i would miss most is the per app customization of "App Settings" like DPI, force fullscreen, keep screen on, resident, language, etc.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-app-settings-v1-9-2014-05-14-t2437377
Do you know a custom rom for the 3T which offers similar per app settings?
no rom with this functionality?
???
I'm using Sultans CM13 with xposed and appsettings version 1.13
Currently I'm using OOS 3.5.4 with appsettings 1.13. But I want to update to a Nougat-rom. As Xposed is not working on Nougat, I'm looking for a rom with similar functions...
I got a dpi tile and I set fling right side swipe up to settings panel and set the dpi tile on bottom right so it's easy to switch allot of stuff. I thought mm was better cause of closed but nougat has everything it's far better.
is there really no custom rom with these functionalities?
Xposed killed custom ROMs
@deskjet390
what do you mean?
All of the built in customization development stopped as it was replaced with xposed modules. Someone needs to bring back paranoids built in per app DPI feature
No as the code for it was buggy as was all of PA code. So no rom developers will ever use it.
Anyone that says to use xposed over built in options are an idiot.
Only winzip wizards will tell you to use xposed. Real devs tell you not to use it at all and do not support its use.

I'm coming from an S3 where I had Paranoid Android installed. I really miss the stock Android feel. Is there any ROM available for the US LTE T-Mobile variant with a locked bootloader that is similar to stock or are there Xposed modules that can get it there?
I tried the Xposed module that is supposed to turn your Xperia QuickSettings into an AOSP style, but it just caused the systemUI to crash. I can't remember the name.
Thus far I've installed Nova Launcher and used an Xposed module to display "L"-style navigation buttons. If I could change the systemUI, I'd be satisfied.
Thanks for the help.

Thanks AndroidTweaker. I've actually already gotten that far. Any other recommendations to get a more AOSP experience?

that xposed aosp quick settings won't work with KitKat.
As all of know Xposed Installer have come for lollipop 5.1 and i flash it on my canvas a1 and all the installation process goes smooth
but now when I am using modules some or more then half modules are not working
just not only this they cus a stuck bootlogo on start up and nan or method get it back work unless I factory reset or restore my backup
some modules which are not working are (so u may protect ur data to lose)
gravoty box [LP]
lolistat
lollipop navigation bar
lollipop power menu
compact volume panel for CM12
and so on i thing mostly those which deals with systemUI and navigation bar
so pls some one tell me why is this happening
And sorry for my English.
First, this is normal. Did you read the title of the Xposed thread ? It's still in SUPER-ALPHA (it's still in a huge development).
Second of all, the module NEEDS to be rewritten for new Xposed and Lollipop 5.1 (make a note that 5.1 brings a huge changes in ART / Android Runtime)
Be patient, Xposed needs to be developed into a stable state before being able to be used as a daily driver.
Use APM+ instead of Lollipop Power Menu it works fine on my Canvas A1
Why do you even need lollipop navigation bars?!
Sent from my Micromax AQ4501 using XDA Free mobile app
As we all know @rovo89 is working on xposed for 5.0 and he said xposed for 5.1 is quite far away so we cant really use xuimod(i have tried unofficial xposed for 5.1 but xuimod made my keyboard not appear at all). so I gain searched a lot but didnt find any way to do it without xposed. The only way is to flash a custom rom. I dont want to leave CM. So is there any mod that will do this except xposed ofcourse and without going outside CM.
I was running CM11 on my Nexus 5 for all that time and didn't liked the CM13 because the only Xposed Module that i use is not available in MM. it's Application Settings, it can make me launch apps above the lockscreen, and change the DPI as well! any alternatives?
yes I've already googled the question and i found 2 posts on Reddit, but all are pointing to the community version that available on XDA for Lollipop 5.1 and it does not work on MM! yes it boots up with out any boot loops but it does not work.
Is there any Xposed module alternative or even any way else?
Thanks.

I'm on Pie. Xposed and Xtoast no longer works on Pie. XToast is Toast Notification personalization app. (Duration, Style, Height, Color)
So anyone have suggestion XToast like module for Magisk?
I only needed for disable toast notifications for specific apps.
Thanks.
No... That's quite outside the scope for what Magisk can do with it's module, but it happens to be exactly what Xposed is for. So, if you don't have Xposed you'd have to find some other means of achieving the same (or similar) goal. But not with Magisk.
Think of Magisk like a file injector, where you just mount new files into the system (without touching it), and Xposed as a code injector, where the running code is altered on the go. Two quite different things...
You can of course make a Magisk module that mounts a modified apk over the stock one, where you have disabled toast notifications for that particular app, but that would be extremely cumbersome and not really feasible.
I get it. Thanks ?

android version? rom name? edxposed version?
Hi
I have Android 9.0 Pie,
BlackDiamond N8 v2
EdXposedInstaller_v2.2.5-release
Riru_-_Core-v19.5(27)
Riru_-_EdXposed-v0.4.5.1_beta(4463)_(YAHFA)(4463)
Functions as well on Android 10.0 Q with FloydQ v7 for S7
Later versions of Riru requires dev mods of the Xposed modules and as Xtoast is no longer maintained you must stay on a lower version of Riru for it to function.
I love it as well, but had to giv Xposed up to get som apps to function. :-(
Thanks...all good things must come to an end except one....
