U need to enable OEM unlock before flashing Twrp. And btw official Twrp for honor 5c is not supported for nougat till now. U can get unofficial Twrp for nougat from p9 lite forum. It's reported to be working on our device too, since it's got same hardware.

FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)

Max

Hello, i've got soft brick when i tried to root my nougat, but then i flashed 6.0.1 back with 3 buttons... and its working for now, but i guess it could be better if rooting was success on N, im so confused, i will try to flash 7.1.1 if there is some kind of N's, and try it to root, i unlocked my bootloader again with the Honor-MultiTool Utility... I'll let yo know if i will get best results....

When i try to flash SuperSu on recovery, the recovery shows me only "booting image" or something like that and then recovery crashes, and android starting to boot, anybody could help me plz obtain root? ;(

3. I war reading about FlashFire app is it worth it updating to EMUI 5 (NEM-L21C432B351) android 7 thro FlashFire app to keep all data and root, twrp etc ?
You only have to unroot and re-flash your stock recovery to update.
Your bootloader will stay unlocked.

Use this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/development/twrp-t3588356
It works fine on the Honor 5C, tested it by myself.

Huawei P10 lite stuck on booting

Hi everyone,
While trying to install LineageOS (following the guide here) my phone is now stuck on "Your device is booting".
Note that I had my phone rooted before so OEM unlock and TWRP were already done/installed.
Unfortunately my backup seems to not have worked and I believe I might have erased more than I should, including system and vendor. So now I'm stuck with installing any OS to be honest.
My phone is an ARM64, prague, WAS-LX1A.
Can anyone help me please?
Thanks!
I was able to use the dload method to get back to stock rom.

Please i need fix this

After unlocking the bootloader, I installed AEX 9, then I decided to flash the stock rom 8.1 and it worked ... But there is a problem, I have the bootloader unlocked and I receive OTA updates ... but now I want to install TWRP and it doesn't work, it says "recovery.img is not signed", I tried to flash another stock of rom and the same problem, I can't ... it says "boot.img is not signed"
How I fix this? I just want flash TWRP for Magisk... any solution?
PD: My English is not good for all... sorry
Use the correct version of twrp and disregard image not signed message

help

Hi peeps,
I bought the oneplus 3t as it was supposed to be easy to root and load custom roms, seems not, i unlocked bootloader and rooted then wanted to install magisk could not re lock bootloader

Are you doing everything right? If you flash TWRP recovery it should boot even though it may not work after TWRP logo.
There are many Unofficial TWRP recoveries for this device. You should try all of them one by one.
