science, a Fractal Tree index is a tree data structure that keeps data sorted and allows searches and sequential access in the same time as a B-tree but with insertions and deletions that are asymptotically faster than a B-tree. I like mathematics and geometry - so I was trying to make fractal tree fro android.
But I was not sure how to make that concept usable - so I made the live wallpaper. I have tried to make it less battery consuming. Here are the features of this unique wallpaper -
Change color of the tree - single color (with gradient - material color array ), bi color (each node if of different color)
Tree leaf fraction variation - gives you all different type of trees.
Tree leaf angles can be altered. Try different angle in different side for fun.
background color - use from predefined theme or choose your favourite color. Use linear gradient. All colors in backgrounds are darker to get pleasant effect.
Cool animation -(does not take extra processing )
Random tree each time you unlock your phone
End branch - dynamic leaf type or flower type
A reset option - in case you are lost.
If you want to play with the options given in this wallpaper you will find different kind of tree you can simulate. Animation is based on the angle rotation of left branch and right brunch.
Tips
Use different side length for different kind of a fractal tree.
Use different angle in left and right - see what you get.
Avoid use max no of iteration i..e 9. Use upto 8 iteration. I you are confident about the phone's processing power then use 9
Same color band - darken colors in each iteration - looks cool
Don't use flower less processing. Iteration 9 + use flower should be avoided.
Use the Facebook page for feature request.
your suggestions are welcome

One of the things that allow human beings to perceive things in three dimensions (3D) is the depth of field. When you focus on something that is close, the objects in the background become out of focus. This lets our mind know which object is close and which is farther away, and hence capture the right dimensions for the object. It is not possible that out mind focuses both near and far objects at the same time.
With this tip, we will guide you how to make the icons on your Android phone appear more 3D by moving the background wallpaper to a more unfocused and blurred state, with the result that icons appear to float above the wallpaper.

The tools needed for this process are very basic: the desired wallpaper, and Adobe Photoshop Express for your Android device (we will use Photoshop Express in this guide as it is available free on Android Market, but you can use any image editor of your liking).
To begin, launch Photoshop Express and open your desired wallpaper in it. (You’ll need to uncheck ‘Show camera photos only in Phone view’ to be able to see all photos)
Next, you need to soften the image’s focus. Go to Menu > Edit Photo and select the third icon from top bar. You can soften the image by just sliding your finger across screen. The maximum it goes is till 20, which we find to be working best. However, you can set it to any value of your liking, Once you have attained the desired softness, save the image. (It will not overwrite the original but instead save as a new file)
That’s it. Set this new image as your wallpaper, and the icons will appear more 3D due to the difference in focus. The screenshot above does not do justice to it, but we tried it on Samsung Galaxy S, and the brilliant SuperAMOLED display works wonders with this technique. Give it a try on your own device and let us know how it worked for you.

Uh, this only works when you use the Tilt-Shift effect. Blurring the background only makes it look like you have a blurry background. What you did does not give the 3d effect sorry.
And so I came back with my 1st non-homebrew application and I called it WindowsPhone3D.

So what is WindowsPhone3D?
Firstly, what are the types of stereo 3D? I know most of you already know these types of stereo 3D but let's make sure everyone understands it.
Anaglyph
- Anaglyph images are used to provide a stereoscopic 3D effect, when viewed with glasses where the two lenses are different (usually chromatically opposite) colors, such as red and cyan
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anaglyph_image
- WindowsPhone3D has 5 anaglyph rendering types
-- True
-- Gray
-- Color
-- Half Color
-- Optimize
ref: http://3dtv.at/Knowhow/AnaglyphComparison_en.aspx
Cross Eye (Stereogram)
- stereogram is a pair of two-dimensional panels depicting the view of a scene or an object from the vantage points of the right and left eyes
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereogram
Wiggle 3D
- Wiggle 3D addresses a fundamental goal of still photography: to take a three-dimensional world, capture and then present it in two dimensions, and make viewers believe that they are seeing the original scene in three dimensions

thank you wiki and adorama
So WindowsPhone3D does all this for you.
How to use this application?
1. WindowsPhone3D launches
2. Goes to Cross Eye page
3. click the Left arrow to select or capture an image from your image collection or from the camera.
4. click the Right arrow to select or capture an image from your image collection or from the camera.
How to view Cross-Eye images?
- here are the tutorials how to do it

How to view Anaglyph?
- just get/make a red/magenta goggles
How to properly capture stereoscopic image?
Just like that
here's the short video of the application. Sorry but the application is in landscape orientation
here's the XAP file download

:-(
Thank you - but the downloaded file is only 550 bytes and so the link maybe broken?

thanks for reporting that back. I updated the first post and I just hosted the XAP file directly to my website.
I saw 40+ downloads and they never reported the error.
Thank you. It's working now...
Tested the app - very nice.
I like the "wiggle"-effect but it's hard to get the proper perspective for the 2nd photo.
Thank you
Hey there! Just wanted to mention a new app I made, Sequencer. The application is a drum machine/step sequencer and loops timed sound samples. There are already a few apps out there that are similar, but this project interested me so I went ahead and built it. I got some base features in there, so think it is time to show some people and get some ideas.
Please give it a try and tell me what you think. Also note, I’m not a musician don’t know all the components of making a song. So if you have any ideas for changes to the app or any features you want added, please tell me!

Version 1.2.1 Update and screenshots
The next version of sequencer is now available. This update adds a lot of new options, the biggest being “synthesizer mode”. Now, in addition to the sample sound packs, you can select a three oscillator synthesizer as a sound source.
When a channel is in synth mode you can generate a sound using:
- 3 Oscillators with 12 different waveforms (Includes the usual, Sine, Saw, Square, and Triangle waves)
- Frequency and detune settings
- Unison mode that will generate 3 detuned oscillators instead of one
- A Single LFO that can modulate pitch or volume
- An ADSR amplitude envelope, and a gate time setting to control how long the sound plays
- Lowpass filter
- Distortion effect
Each channel has its own synthesizer settings, so you can make a composition using entirely synthesized sounds. Generating the sounds does require a good amount of processing from your phone, but even older phones should run this pretty well. Also, if configuring a synthesizer isn’t your thing, you can select one of the 35 presets included in this release. More presets will be added in following versions.
A few other things added:
- Channel level volume settings with mute and solo
- Slider increment feature that lets you tap on the right or left side of a slider to change a value.
- Fixed loading issue that occurred when there were a lot of saved sequences
Here are some screenshots of the updated features:
BACK 2 BLUE - a simple theme for CM12.x/CM13
BACKGROUND
As many CM users already know, CM changed how the stock Browser app looks in CM13, using a green palette. Just recently, they also quietly changed the palette for the Messaging app, this time in a more shocking purple. I don't understand why CM decide to put so much eye strain on us, nor do I want to stand the disharmony it caused on my homescreen.
Since there are so many devices of different nature and density, one modified browser/messaging app can't fit all, so I'm inspired to start my first Android "app" project according to CM's guidelines, the result of which is this simple theme that solves the above problem universally.
THEME DESCRIPTION
This theme, as of version 1 r2, themes the following elements:
Browser - revert to a blue version of Lollipop's browser icon; blue palette
Calculator (stock, KitKat and below) - use Marshmallow calculator icon
Email - blue icon and palette
Messaging - blue icon and palette
Sound Recorder - gray palette
Snap Camera - use stock Camera2 icon
Eleven (CM music player) - use icon prior to May 2016
SCREENSHOTS
Before you ask, the statusbar and navbar color effects are achieved by the Xposed module PerfectColorBar, not by the theme.

FINAL WORDS
The theme's aim is to correct the stray colors while keeping things as close to stock CM as possible - I created the project solely to satisfy my needs, to get rid of icons I see as discordance, so I will only theme certain system apps when necessary and will not theme user apps. I don't intend to become a pro themer and compete with all the wonderful full-fledged themes out there, and you might want to consider those themes or even make one yourself if you want further customization. It's easy - I created this one in mere hours, and if you are familiar with Android Studio, you can do it maybe even faster!
Thanks for checking out my first Android "app" project! Toss any useful suggestions below, but as said above, don't expect any requests get integrated
Version 1 r2 reverts the icon of Eleven (the default music player in CM) from the new pinkish one introduced in May to the gray one used prior to the change.
