Does anyone have this problem? i bought my phone directly from samsung, tmobile kit.
There are a lot of post and threads about this. If you buy from Samsung with tmobile carrier, you cant get it unlocked. Some people states that they got it unlocked when they sent an email to john legere
T-Mobile's site only registers IMEI numbers for phones bought from T-Mobile.

This is my first Moto device and I'm not familiar with how to root these. All I know is its a Moto X Verizon exclusive (pig skin edition), I know the SIM is unlocked because I'm using it on At&t. If someone could help me by shooting me the proper links to a tutorial specific to this model phone I would seriously appreciate it. Thanks.
Have a search. If memory serves Verizon branded phones have locked bootloaders and the answer is no.
Any one else know having trouble accessing Verizon Wireless customer service from their Nexus 6?
If I dial *611, 611 or the 1-800-922-0204, it takes me to the "611 on screen" and errors out. It just wont dial out.
Just tried it and it worked for me.
When you got your nexus, did you just pop your Sim in?
This is what I get when I hit dial on any of those 3 numbers

I bought a used U1. During setup LTE works but after reaching the home screen the connection shuts off and data/calls/text don't work. Tried flashing T-Mobile firmware but same result. Any ideas? Thanks.
Did you try a data factory reset in recovery?
Figured it out. Despite being the unlocked U1 model it was still carrier locked. Had to call them to unlock it.
I think this message that shows up in Settings is related? Hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

I'm Brazilian I bought a galaxy s10 5g on ebay North American unlocked, however it doesn't receive software updates, when I checked its model on the back, it says SM-977N (and some inscriptions in Korean), however they are flashed as SM-977B with csc TEL (as shown in the attached image).
I would like to know if it is possible to update the firmware and how do I do it?

There's no cellular service on the pad, and no SIM slot, so I'm guessing there's no IMEI numbers, and that's just a placeholder in Android if there was.
