I have apps that i am trying to install from the watch and others that I would like to update and its stuck on "pending" with no download. Has anyone experienced this on their Gwatch R?
Yes. Had this problem since the 2.0 update weeks ago. I even factory reset it. Problem remains. I thought I could just uninstall then reinstall an app that refused to download it's update. Nope. Now the app won't reinstall. Very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated!
Experiencing this too. I resetted it once, then it started again. Found a few threads online of GWR owners with the same issue, someone solved it by disabling "ask for PIN" on the watch and "ask for password/fingerprint" on the phone, someone didn't.
I updated some apk (GPS, Android Wear, etc...) by downloading from apkmirror and installing them through adb, but this didn't fix the problem either. In logcat I can see some issues with an intent referring to the Play Store and one with some directories not being read.
This is so annoying. Is this an LG or Google issue? How do we petition help and they actually listen to us?
Me too!
I have this issue too!
I really hope a fix comes available soon!
Same issue here also GWR
Same here.. Any fix?

Hi,
I recently got AT&T Nexus one and is on unrooted stock firmware.
I am getting 'Sorry, unable to connect. Please try later.' with a 'Retry now' button.
The internet connection is working fine everywhere else. I can add apps from market, browse using browser, Beautiful widget work fine with weather taken from internet.
Any idea what could have been the issue?Since it is a builtin widget, cache cannot be cleared. Tried everything I can think of, like restarting phone, using 3G, WIFI, EDGE/GPRS connection etc. Still it is unable to connect.
Anyone else has similar issue?
Regards
HAX
I have similar issues. Sometimes I also get the 'Sorry, unable to connect. Please try later.' message but the bigger issue is that the widget force close every time when I try to scroll to Top Stories tab. I can see the headlines changing on my home menu and I can read the news from other tabs but Top Stories and Weather tabs cause force close. If the widget gets stuck to "Loading..." mode I just remove it and add it again to my home screen and the headlines are back.
This started when I updated the CM mod from 5.0.4.1-N1 to 5.0.7.1-N1. Now I'm running CM 5.0.8-T4 and the problem persists.
I have tried to clear the application cache, fix permissions, reinstall, clear cache and dalvic cache but no change. Any suggestions?
I just started getting this out of nowhere too.
after i installed beautiful widgets 2
Getting same thing. Outage? I just flashed to bugless beast .2 (froyo 2.2). Just started today!
Same here.... getting the msg "Sorry, unable to connect. Please try later"
Running Stock 2.1 update 1
I'm also experiencing the same problem. It just says 'sorry but cannot connect to network'. I haven't done any changes with my rom cm5.0.7.1 neither have I added any apps. Wondering if this could be Google server problem any ideas?
Same problem here. Just started yesterday. Unrooted running 2.2. This is a bummer I used this widget pretty frequently. Has anyone found a solution yet?
same problem here running cm t5
same here
Same here, must be a server issue- panic over lol

look in settings.
if you look in the setting for the news it should have erased your topic selections
"Sorry network error. Please try again later."
I downgraded to eclair on a t-mobile unrooted nexus one for unrelated issues and still had the error, now I'm back on 2.2 FRF50 unrooted and still experiencing the issue. It must be a server issue at google.
Same problems here also; I am on AT&T. Does this app use Google's servers? Just wondering.

I am having the issue with 2.1 on AT&T Nexus one.
I dont have Beautiful widgets. So I dont think that is causing the issue.
I tried it on Wifi too and still have the issue. So could not be an issue with any blocked ports.
It loads the terms of service of google news under settings. So,it is strange why its not loading news.
Hope Someone has a solution.
Started having similar issues today, and can't even get it to refresh
A friend of mine has a nexus one as well so I asked him to load the widget and his works fine. Makes me think its not a server issue.
Seems a bunch of google services are acting up. Android development site has missing videos.
*sniff* *sniff*
Smells like an incoming update.
I miss this app =(
My credit cards don't accept overseas apps (beautiful widgets) so i'm hoping this comes back soon.
you sure
are you guys sure cuz i just tired the news and weather app and widget. n it worked fine. im on 2.2 on nexus one.
but this did happen to me once. i remembered that i had my gps turned off.
i think it was in setting --> location & security.
i hope that helps.
Edit: To mod: If possible, please move this thread to a non device specific subforum, as people with different devices are experiencing the same problem.
So today I decided to factory reset my HTC One, and install back some applications I had previously.
However, after the factory reset I am unable to either install or update any application, with the Google Play Store returning: ""{app}" could not be downloaded due to an error. (403)".
I've been looking around a bit and have seen quite some others with this issue, however no solutions have worked for me. What I've tried:
Logged into Hangouts and confirmed mobile number.
Removed Google account in settings --> Go to Apps>All> and force stop Google Play Store, Google Service Framework and Download Manager, then clear cache and data for each --> Added back Google account --> Restarted device (without launching Google Play Store).
Using a new gmail account.
Clearing Proxy: I've looked in my Wi-Fi and APN Settings, both of which have no proxy set to begin wit.
Using 3G instead of Wi-Fi.
Another factory reset (repeated other steps afterwards).
Installing apps onto my device from my PC (it won't attempt to install them on the phone).
Please note my phone is not rooted and I'm not planning on rooting my phone any time soon.
Thanks in advance,
Errors4l.

Interesting, this is happening to me also after a factory reset of my HTC One. Tried all of the above, my phone too is not rooted however the bootloader is unlocked.

Yeah I've encountered quite some threads of people having this problem with the HTC One, however their solutions have not worked for me. Hoping someone can bring an answer to this thread
Yea it just seems unusual that it has happened to us pretty much at the same time under the same circumstances, maybe there is some issue with the store rather than our devices, I hope so!
Having exactly the same problem, tried everything. Even got a new handset because of the original issue which caused me to perform the factory reset. Maybe a problem with Google Play?
Hey guys!
I did a factory reset on my LG Swift L9 today
and also can't download any app from Google Play
due to 403. It may not be related to HTC One only.

I've got a new Nexus 5 delivered to me hours ago, first time using it and i can confirm the same sadly, hopefully it will be resolved soon !
What would be the quickest way to alert a mod so that the thread can be moved to a non device specific forum?
Hi all,
Picked up a Nexus 7 today - it was initially loaded with an old build of Android (Blue connectivity bars not white etc) and everything seemed to be working fine. Notification popped up for me to install the latest version, so I stopped what I was doing, got it installed and I'm now stuck with the same 403 errors as everyone else.
Looks to me like a Play Store issue but damn infuriating seeing as I can't even put any basic apps on my shiny new Nexus.
Noticed on another forum earlier that someone was having the same issue, and a guy responded saying he'd returned his Galaxy Tab to the store it came from today (Curry's, I think?) and after the staff there contacted Samsung - they were told that it was an issue with the Play Store. No obvious citations of course, but seems pretty legit what with everything else going on.
And now we wait...

I changed the title and inserted a request in the first post, hope it'll get noticed faster this way by a moderator
(Not so) sorry for double post.
I just tried again, without making any changes to my phone, and I just downloaded 3 different apps (2 I had previously, 1 new one).
Need a confirmation if the problem is solved for other people (with different devices) before I request a close.
Yeah, it works for me too now!

Nope, still 403'ing over here. But I'll keep checking in case it's gradually being fixed.
Still getting errors here too.
403 =/
I'm glad it's not just me.
I tried resetting/clearing everything thinking it was my phone cos I just recently rooted and flashed this brand spanking new HTC One (it was a replacement for my broken HTC One that had a working store :crying, until I went ahead and Googled this annoying error.
Seems like it's a problem on the Google end! =/
Get same error, tried RUU reset and ViperOne ROM.
Still 403 error! Very annoying
Spent 2 hours or so messing installing cyanogen on my new nexus and thought I'd ****ed up. Then googled it. I can believe it, talk about bad timing. lol
Looks like we are not alone...
https://twitter.com/search?q=error 403&src=typd&f=realtime
Several months ago I installed CM10 on my Nook HD+ and for the most part everything runs perfectly.
However in mid March I installed a Cyanogen update and very soon after I noticed many of my apps (all downloaded from Amazons app of the day) would not run, giving me the following error:
Internal Service Error: An internal error occurred. This can be caused by a lack of network connectivity, please make sure you have a good network connection.
At the time, I Googled and tried the suggestions I found (although the suggestions were all for other devices such as Kindle Fire). I checked the time and date were correct, deregistered and reregistered my device and tried rebooting.
And that seemed to fix the issue, although I concede I havent been using the Nook much lately.
Tonight I went to use my Nook to play a few games and the problem is back and its even worse now. I now cannot play any of my games, even ones I have played numerous times before without any wifi turned on. We dont have wifi at home, I tether my phone when I want to use the internet on my Nook. I do know there are some games that require internet access, however the vast majority of mine dont, which I know for a fact as I've played them so often with no internet.
So, why all of a sudden, does everything need wifi? How can I fix this? Is it just coincidence the problem occurred immediately after a system update, and if it could be the update that caused it, how can I find out which update it was and can it be uninstalled?
The instances of this I found mentioned online mainly referred to it happening to just one app, and some people found uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixed the issue. But I have close to 200 apps all doing this.
Since I mainly use the Nook for playing these games, its useless to me as it is now and if I cant fix this issue I wont have any choice but to remove the Mod and return it to stock software, which I really dont want to have to do.
Please can someone help me with this, in basic, non-technical language please?
Thank you.
Hello?
Please, does anyone have any input on this problem? Have I asked in the wrong forum?
I asked about this in another forum and it was suggested that maybe the update made my Nook appear like a new device to Amazon and that the error message is the games wanting to confirm with Amazon that the license to run the game was correct (or something along those lines).
I have just tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of games and now they work so it would appear that suggestion is exactly what has happened. So I guess I now have to uninstall and redownload all those 200+ apps and games, which is going to be a nightmare with no internet at home.
And if updates cause the device to appear different, then how do I know this wont keep happening with future updates? I am not going to keep reinstalling every thing, so do I just turn updates off instead? That doesnt seem like a very wise idea.
I would really appreciate some help with this please, or even just to be pointed in the right direction if I should be asking elsewhere.
Thank you.
Well I guess no one has any advise or help of any kind to offer. I will post this update in case anyone else has the same issue.
I ended up having to uninstall and redownload every one of my apps, and now they all work fine again, so I can only assume the suggestion I received on a different forum that the update made my device appear as a new device, meaning the internet was needed for the apps to check licenses with Amazon was correct.
With this in mind, I would now never recommend the Cyanogen mod to any one else. Whats the point if updates are going to screw everything like this? I have now turned off the updates, which I would normally never do. When my Nook gets to the stage of having to have updates I will uninstall Cyanogen and just go back to using a stock Nook.
Its a shame as I have been very happy with it up until all this happened but since there is no back up or support from anyone when things go wrong, its simply not worth the hassle.

I found some useful thoughts here:

Even with WiFi, LTE and Bluetooth enabled not able to update or install new apps using Google play store on watch.
Just says downloaded pending and doesn't download anything. Tried for several days on wifi and off.
Should I reset the watch?
I had the same issue the other day. I tried everything I could but ultimately a reset is what fixed it.
Thanks I reset and it fixed. Now LTE is not working with Verizon.
I just started having this issue. LG Watch Sport with build NQF430. This is kinda ridiculous. Can't update or install anything. I really don't want to reset this thing again.
Hello everyone,
Just go a LG-W280A online (Nougat, 7.1.1, NQF43E) and trying to get it to update to Oreo, but no luck so far.
The watch does download the update, but when it comes to install it, it fails verification it seems. I've been through the process at least 5 times already, with a factory reset of the watch in the middle.
Anybody else in Canada have this problem? Is Oreo worth it? If it breaks Google Pay, no, and it's the main reason I bought the watch.
Any help or tips would be appreciated.
Well, it seems patience is the key. I left my phone and my watch charging one beside the other for a few hours. I went to check if an update was available, and was greeted with the "Reboot to install?" prompt.
It took 4-5 times.
I'd say if you come across the same problem, just keep at it. It will work.

I'm from italy...same problem...4 time i download the update (780 MB transferred from bluetooth to watch everey time...oh my god! ), every time the update doesn't pass the verification.
i try this night with a vpn centered in USA.
Hello again,
@stefal639 I assume that it will do the same as mine. Just keep at it, the update will work eventually.
I can confirm that Google Pay in Canada still works after the Oreo update (Wear OS 1.2, 8.0.0, OWDL.180126.012).
I solve shutting off the Bluetooth and I use the direct download from server to watch by wifi.
All ok
