I have an Unlocked Verison HTC Desire 626 and I am using it on Metro Pcs and paying for Hotspot but the phone wont let me use the hotspot and I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem before and could possibly help me get it to work
If the phone is running stock android 5.1 or 6.01 from Verizon. VZ has in the firmware to disable the hotspot service on the phone unless you pay for the privilege. This is why PDANET would work on the Desire 626 i have from verizon.
is there anyway to root it. i have yet to find a apk to root the os
You can get it rooted via "http://theroot.ninja/" . I did my HTC Verizon Desire 626 thru this service , only problem it is not free ($25.00).
You get root access problem is there is not ROMS such as Lineage or any other ones for the Verizon 626. You run Titanium Backup with root access or any other app that allows root access.

Please bear with me, first time rooting trying to learn as much as possible.
I unlocked the bootloader of my (formerly stock) Sprint HTC One, installed the latest version of TWRP recovery, and rooted so I have SU access.
I haven't changed the ROM yet, my current version of of the SENSE ROM is 5.0.
I recently switched carriers to AT&T, is there any way to SIM unlock my Sprint device to work with AT&T, and also use the latest version of Android (4.4 KitKat?)
I see several guides out there catering to either or, but not both. The "[Complete guide] to SIM unlock your HTC One Sprint for free" only applies to SENSE ROMs, which doesn't help me.
I need a little guidance here so I don't screw things up too badly.
Even if I were to call Sprint up directly, looking to buy a sim unlock, would that let me use a custom, non-SENSE ROM?
i did the 3rd step from the sim unlock tutorial because im from 4.4.2.. so what i did is downgrade the radio and a sense rom of 4.1.2( s-off, bootloader unlocked and rooted) then i did the one with android terminal emulator but after i reboot i still got no signal then i tried the sprint htc one sim unlock helper but still i got no signal.. i will be going to other country and use my htc one internationally.. what should i do? can any one help me? thank you in advance

Hi ,
I am having HTC one with Sprint network. After my contract they provided me MSL code [/I]to unlock it.
I already rooted my Android phone and I installed viber one custom ROM.
Please let me know how to unlock my device completely.

Hello Guys,
I just lost my phone and a friend of mine gave me one that he is not using anymore because he did not know how to unlock it so he bought a new one. Now I have that phone and it happens to be an HTC One M7 from Sprint, it is running Android 5.0.2 with HTC Sense 6.0, Software 6.23.651.10. I booted in recovery mode and it says it is Relocked, S-Off, Hboot is 1.61. Also, there is one option that says simlock and if I click on it then it says SD init fail (within the recovery mode menu).
The phone is rooted, I managed to do it via Kingo App and I just need to get it working in another GSM network, I have been looking for information about this but all I have found is info for when we were back in Android 4.2.3 and tried to go with it but it does not work.
If anyone can please help me find a solution so I can unlock this phone I would really appreciate it.
I know on the forum theres a guide on how to flash to boost mobile but since is old and the phone is now on 6.0 I want to know if still possible and if theres an updated guide since that one have broken links. I have an Note 2 that is activated on Boost Mobile (Sprint branded) and want to pass the service to the HTC One M8 HK Edition (also Sprint Branded but no sim card installed) Is already S-off and fully rooted.
