Any OOS Roms with Ticker Text (scrolling notifications) - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Is there any OOS Roms out there with Ticker Text, I read through the main page on a lot of the roms here, and haven't seen this feature mentioned, is this just implemented in a more custom rom?

Whoa cool share. Using this on Mahdi ROM, as I posted in that thread the only thing missing is showing the notifications bar and the custom effects of Gradient / etc that we have for our one plus.

Does your equalizer work on the loclscreen? What about using a picture as a custom wallpaper?

Didn't try it. I noticed a annoying bug where if I have my IME (keyboard) pulled out and turn the screen on. The lock screen would show the keyboard and would have a hard time hiding the keyboard again

Thanks. Man it just drives me crazy that certain ROMs are capable of running the lockscreen and others are not. I really love the cm11s lock screen. But I also like ROMs like Mahdi and Vanir. I'm running Vanir and its pretty smooth and awesome, but haven't seen much difference between this and crDroid. I'm alsobwaitong for the CrDroid ROM to fix some stuff before I flash again.

[Q]Invert Ambient Display

Hey everyone just wondering if there's a way to invert my ambient display for black themes. I know this is a common issue and I am on LightRom 6.0
I have done a number of searches with no result and I have only seen this option on a couple heavily modded Lolli Roms.
Cheers.

I am using Layers I am using blackstock Theme my issue is my ambient display displays black with only app icon visible, I know this is not the themeres fault as it has been an issue since day 1 but I have only seen a fix for this on heavily modded roms.
I'm enjoying the clean M with layers enabled just would enjoy more if I was able to invert my ambient display.
Thanks for the suggestion except the layers themes you have suggested are not Marshmallow friendly.

To get a dark layers theme to show white text on ambient display needs 2 commits...1 in the theme (which we all added some time ago) and 1 in the rom.
The commits in the rom I've only seen in AOSP roms.. I'm not sure, but i doubt you could add it to a stock rom.
Could someone inform me of what commit is needed to be added to the ROM. Or where i can find such information.
I would like to suggest it be added to a ROM, and provide such information.
Thank you

The collection modules to beautify your phone! Voila! Life!

As my main purpose of using the xposed is to make my phone bling bling shine, I have search through the whole xposed repository to find wonderful modules. This collection is based on my personal experience and rating from android forum. Maybe it is suit for girls' taste, but...I think no much girls are surfing in this geek forum
NavBar / StatusBar media visualizer [L-M]
Lockscreen Visualizer
Pointer Replacer
RippleMaster
Quote Lock
MoonPhase
ColorClockChanger
ScreenOffAnimation
Keyboard Tinter 2
Eggster
Zeus Contextual Expanded Status Header (Lollipop+)
P.s. All can be found in the xposed repository~
I can't seem to get the NavBar media visualizer to work?
Running CM13 on a HTC one mini 2. When you install it and activate+reboot, does it just start working straight away or do you change anything to it?

Wrong thread. You should ask module-related questions in the corresponding module's thread.

EMUI 8.1 custom Themes issues (partially incompatible with EMUI 8.0 themes)

Hi,
This thread is to report custom themes issues - as I noticed currently available themes (working fine on EMUI 8.0 phones) are partially incompatible with EMUI 8.1 on our P20 phones.
Known issues (EMUI 8.1 vs EMUI 8.0):
- sms app is no longer supported (there is no longer Huawei sms app - Google Messages instead, completly inconsistent with EMUI design...)
- some (not all) custom screen locks are not working
- custom settings menu icons are not visible (only default ones)
- general issue with non-system app icons - most of them are not changing with theme (even if there is custom icon inside theme)
- custom status bar and notifications are not working
I received my P20 today, so i'll update above list during my tests. If you notice any not listed issue - let me know, i will add it.
I'll try to find a solutions for that issues - but of course any help is appreciated
Life saver!
I've been playing around with the themes and noticed my notifications had disappeared from the lock screen. I had assumed it was another setting I'd changed by mistake, but couldn't find what I'd done.
Found this thread last night, stuck the theme back to Romance, and the notifications are back!

But you can use custom theme with standard lock screen - and notifcations should appear
Any custom lockscreens that work with notifications? I tried a few but none display spotify lockscreen controls. I ask because I'd prefer a lockscreen with the clock at the top instead of the bottom like the magazine theme.

Try lockscreen from my SimpleP theme - there is a clock in the top and spotify controls work
I have the same problem. I tried some custom themes and now, no matter what theme I choose, notifications won't expand, I can only read notification first line. And yes, with some custom themes, notifications won't show at all.
@mr.mrcn I can't find SimpleP theme

It is in my app (link is in the signature). But notifications in this lock screen don't expand either.
They are not expanding for me as well, seems like a stupid bug (much like no synchronized volumes with Bluetooth audio devices)
EMUI 8.1 ignores all xml images in custom themes, they are displayed by default.

Not quite true, in my theme are all icons changed, and some other stuff too. I don't have much time to look around, but some paths of icons are different from previous versions. Will try with png's and new folder paths. ???

Do you think this will be fixed soon?
Probably Huawei actually wants it like this, I think they would've fixed it already

I think not..they would not include a theme engine if they do not want customers to change the look of it..but that is my opinion

You can still change UI colors and drawer icons... Maybe they just want you to do it/they want developers to optimize their themes for the p20/p20 pro before allowing them to change navbar icons/notification tab icons and stuff, at least imo
No Status Bar for me at all, tried Factory reset, the same.

OneUI Custom ROM Suggestions

1. The pinned note is too small to read in most cases.
2. No infinity wallpapers.
3. No animation between AoD and Lockscreen.
4. Statusbar animations in general suck (small qs buttons becoming big sucks, notification icons don't go to place they just appear etc)
I might flash a OneUI ROM with a better AoD or better animations but I don't know any ROMs at all and browsing them didn't really help. Suggestions would be great. I don't want to root and see that all the custom OneUI roms are the same as the original it'd be a waste of time and waste of Knox counter.
