EVEN IF IT'S possible to revert to the android 7 partition scheme.
SOLVED: RESTORED WITH dd if=/external_sd/ERECOVERY_VENDO.img (in update.zip of emui 8) of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p29 bs=1048576. THE ERECOVERY PARTITION WAS UNTOUCHED.
