Hey guys.
I'm sharing this rom for all of you, since it's the BEST custom rom available for Redmi 4 Prime. It is: no bugs (I've tested and I didn't find any), very stable, no random reboots or crashes, etc...
It's on 4PDA and made by msdx321.

Patch adds some features and bugfixes, such as:
- Settings have now a Nougat look-like;
- Removed basic apps: BasicDreams, Browser, CMFileManager, E-mail, Exchange2, Galaxy4, HoloSpiralWallpaper, LiveWallpapers, NoiseField, PhaseBeam, VisualiationWallpapers and CMUpdater.
- More bugfixes, but I don't see any "big" differences. No good translation, sorry.

No, the .rar file says it's from 2017 / 01.
One more of the Portuguese language here in the group, it would be good to have you in the telegram group for our device, and on the remix remix it is good I hope it will be released in nougat soon. This rom I think it has already been shared, so be careful that there are no complaints about roms that have already been posted, and it is very good to see people putting the roms and news here on xda

This rom is already posted months ago, its from 2016 but patched in 2017 and it has location services bug and a few other bugs.

It's simple, after install the ROM, flash the patch zip using a custom rom. No wipes needed.

Strange. I checked before posting and have just checked again.
The second of the two links fails, but the first one gives you a page with a adf(dot)ly/Ws23p link which works just fine. (edited as XDA doesn't allow direct posting of those redirects. Worst case, I'll re-upload my own copy of it with MailBigFile for you.

Me ha funcionado con el segundo link por el que preguntó el amigo anterior !!!
Bastante dificil y engorroso conseguir el paquete ROM para el p-800 LG 4X HD ..... de la version Jelly Bean android.
En mi caso, porque dañé irreversiblemente varios programas del sistema operativo y fue una debacle.
Gracias a "" jamesclinton "" !!!!!!! por su aporte en DAR el LINK para poder bajar el ROM mencionado.
En verdad, da gusto conseguir personas que, desinteresadamente, colaboran con otras alrrededor del Mundo.
Por mi parte lo pondré tan pronto aprenda a hacerlo en la red.......el ROM V20B.kdz ....

I'm really a noob, so please don't go crazy for me asking...
I searched the forum before posting this reply, but I couldn't find a good answer:
Which KDZ do I need for my phone? I bought the phone in Germany, as it was much cheaper than the country I live in, Belgium. But which KDZ do I need? The German one, or the BENELUX one, or should I opt for the Europe Open one? To what does all of this have impact? Baseband? Or is it for languages?
I started to read about this because I have some serious roaming issues... I'm sorry if this is of topic, but I'm really confused on how all of these things are connected...
In Belgium, my provider is Telenet, but this is a virtual provider. They use the Mobistar network. Now, whenever I go abroad (it doesn't matter which country) I can not connect to any network! I've contacted my provider for this many times, but they haven't provided me with a descent answer.
In the beginning of the year, I had another provider, and then I didn't have any issues with roaming however... So here is what I have been thinking (I'm getting embarrassed already): Maybe I need the Benelux firmware because just maybe it includes some settings for my Telenet provider, things I need so that abroad I can connect... Pfff, I'm lost.
So, for your information, some information on my current configuration:

LGP880AT-00-V20b-EUR-XXX-JUL-17-2013
I'm running CM11 nightly 20150119, but until end of December, I was running the stock ROM (I guess it was the German one), and had exactly the same issue. So I ruled out that it has something to do with Cyanogen mod.
Can someone please describe to what extend the firmware version can impact my roaming problem?

I am also searching for the right kdz-file for my phone, a free P880 used with an Austrian-SIM. I do it, i flashed with adb.
It is works perfectly, but the Gmail is not sync. I do not get the mail-s automatic!
In 6.0.1 was good, but now i have a mail more then 2 hours, and i don't get it (I get it when i go in the gmail app, and refresh)
Someone else saw a similar mistake?
Or some setting? (Synchronization set gmail active sync)

I tried Gmail Sync options, the network (it does not work in 4G, 3 another Wifi)
I installed 'Google Inbox" app, i deleted google account, i restarted the phone.
I set up the "E-mail" app, as same gmail account.
It does not work!
I think the synchronization is not working properly.
I will try a Wipe cache or factory reset. or a reflesh with ABD.

Just tested it, it is giving me a error when I try to sign in.
Snapchat verifies a device before they log you in maybe they have to update the apps framework to support verification on 7.0 but as it is right now I cannot log in.

I don't know G925AUCS5DPK5, I cannot tell you if it can also work, try it at your own risk, but I flashed G925AATT5DKP5 then the ota and I'm running 7.0.

Hi. Nice and good looking rom. But i have one question. Can you tell me a little more about those 2 bugs you stated in the post?
What's main problem? You can't change time, select alarm or something else, change volume etc?
Thanks again i am looking to install some samsung like rom to my sisters phone because on 5.1 she can't make SD card as internal storage. Is that possible with this rom?

No isnt possible .
The samsung dont allow to make sd card as internal storage.
The main option of im install custom roms to use this feature but no one rom have it

You can do it with Root Essentials

At this moment i have installed Resurrection Remix and i done that with SD card. But rom is terrible to use with a lot of problems (camera, wifi, stability, etc) so this would be got alternative if that option is possible.
I read that this is possible in any Android system starting from 6.0 Marshmallow.

Clock: When setting Alarm,The app crashes which makes the app unusable
Volume just has a weird GUI glitch. It still works well
And for the SD card, No.You can't make it as Internal. Gonna try doing that in the next update

I have an idea! This systemui is for GraceUX. So maybe we can put it in RE Rom and solve The flickering and the lockscreen problem too!

EMUI pixelized Beta 2 is also out as an update file for Beta 1 ( only a 40mb file )
Full install file will be available for Beta 2 in the next few days

it isn't for the Honor 7x - unless the Honor 7x and Huawei P smart are identical in hardware and partition layout
They look very similar but Honor 7x has EMUI 5.1 and P smart has EMUI 8 which EMUI pixelized is based off
and the specs are slightly different
it only modifies the system and data partition so if it doesn't work you won't get a hard bricked phone anyway
It should work on 7x, most have been updated to EMUI 8.0 as far as I know. Are the download links working again?

Dont worry, I know what I'm doing. I managed to also get kirin 970 devices ROMs to boot on my phone, so... Also, Honor 7x DOES have EMUI 8, dont know where you got the understanding it has EMUI 5.1.

I would love to get it working, but the download link is broken for all of the files. I'm sure other users (including me) would greatly appreciate if you could upload the files to Google Drive, Mega, AFH, or another mirror so that users can actually download the ROM. Thanks

It is on androidfilhost and I updated the androidfilehost links on my website yesterday?
Edit: nevermind the download text box was in front of the download buttons - fixed now
I am thinking of changing download server though as when the download buttons were setup to directly download instead of having to go through the whole waiting for links and waiting a few seconds on Androidfilehost, the first part of the URL changed from DC7 to DC5 making the download links useless ( that's why the download links go to the androidfilehost download page instead of a direct download )

I have had two people test it and it works fine for them ( FIG-LX1 models, not sure if it will work on other models )
i'm releasing Beta 3 today to fix some extra issues
i cant install tru playstore ?
EDIT: fixed problem by deactivating app and downloaded play store apk from my pc

The S20 FE 5G / 4g has been more than 1 year since its launch and until today no custom rom. I already leave the twrp for him I already tested it works very well. Why don't I have a rom yet?
edit: If you have any interested dev I think it was better to create a pure android rom as in google pixels

For me it's only been seven months since it was released in September...
There are still 5 months until the year is full. And you speak of more than a year?

Barely half a year, and even in some parts of the world not even that much. The problem is recent released upgrade and lack of kernel source.
Besides I don't see reason at this time to install any of custom ROMs - because they can hardly tackle the problems in the official build without considerable testing and research, personally. So what is the rush?
And unlike MIUI trash, One UI 3.1 is very decent and doesn't require, yet another AOSP custom rom to remedy that

I don't really like a user interface due to the big changes made to the system. I am waiting for a customrom similar to the pixels and also to unlock the esim instead of the onenui that is blocked

The user interface is easily solved even without opting out for rooting a phone or custom ROMs.
After all skin that One UI is using can be switched by some other skin that is vanilla-like. As for eSim, I don't have a problem with that, cause I chose a provider which doesn't force that on me (I prefer the removable micro-physical), lol but I get the reason why you would want it.

i have been using pe+ gsi for a few months now, works perfectly
Regarding a custom ROM for this device, one is being working on atm and it will be ready when its ready -

Well you could ask the ROm dev onve he is done with making a oneUi if he/she might want to try making an AOSP rom.

hopefully they'll make a super lite OneUI rom with an aroma installer for all extras people might not want.
just a thought... anyone waiting to try this custom rom will be relying on TWRP most likely so they should probably stop updating their phones. actually they needed to stop at April. it looks like Samsung releases the kernel sources just as the phone gets updated.
the next TWRP that comes out might not work with an up-to date system.

there's a telegram group for getting GSI roms up and running for both FE versions.
if you can search for groups you don't belong to I don't know how.
