You tell me... Best will be to track Euphoria 5 to understand it: I tried once but didn't see any thing related; vendor in los13 are same origin (alfsamsung) than Euphoria 5 but they are hacked to fit Marshmallow new policies : http://dmitry.gr/index.php?r=06. Thoughts&proj=04. Android M on Grouper
To get all things better we could move to further modif like https://github.com/Unlegacy-Android/proprietary_vendor_nvidia/commits/aosp-6.0/grouper
I am kinda confused, is this ROM has aosp6 kernel or the newest in aosp7?

Thanks for the work she still invests into this device
Just to make sure I've read this right:
microG is already built-in?
It's MultiROM compatible, but MultiROM is not a requirement? (I rarely boot, so for me MultiROM would be overkill – no need keeping everything twice)
NO GApps are built-in (so one can keep it Google-free)?
As it's LOS based, no Superuser capabilities are built-in (but must be flashed afterwards if wanted)?
If I'm right with that, anyone tried it with Magisk? I'm considering to switch from "hard SU" to systemless root with Magisk (and what better time to do so then with a fresh install?), but if someone has experience with that (especially on this ROM), feedback would be very welcome!

For me it's complicated.
You recommend the supers 2.79, and give the link that directs to version 2.82.
Did you mean recommendation supersu stable?

Stable 2.78 works fine on both primary and secondary rom, I'm not 100% sure but 2.8x focus on N and O new security stuff, so I didn't try them already, but some beta can bootloop on secondary install; anyway, once flashed, you can still upgrade app 2.7x live to latest and reboot.
Also you can patch LOS with su addons https://download.lineageos.org/extras .
( @svv3000 , Post #2 updated with minimal PlaystoreONLY.zip for microG + paid app.)

Thanks, @oF2pks! PlaystoreONLY is not necessary. I have tried a X-los13-201706-ufoHYBRID-p880.zip and fully satisfied. Many thanks for you one more time!
SuperSU 2.82 works fine and stable, by the way, on this ROM.
MicroG + patched Playstore also work. I had a some troubles with authorization in Google services (as result, MapsAPI was dead too). After success with authorization I had a problem with access to the Playstore content (and maps). But, a little bit of shamanistic dances with a tambourine... and all is fine.
GPS is OK. Camera (photo and video) is OK. Calls (except video calls - haven't try) is very good, but a small delay with the output to the screen is present. No freeze and reboot. Very good battery using (0.5-0.8% per hour with my very old battery, when I don't touch a phone)! Time to time a slight lethargy is happened, especially when using one of number opened apps and receive an incoming call.
But, in total - it's best ROM for P880 of all tested (original, Euphoria, AOSP, CM...)

Thanks, @oF2pks! Flashing Gapps or Nougat is not an issue for me (I don't want either: I much more prefer microG and XPosed). So I'm waiting for your update of post #1 then to know whether to update TWRP and to what. If a special formatting is required (or another strongly discouraged), please point that out as well. Currently I'm running your LP build, with /system formatted as ext4.
What's also not clear to me is what you mean by "MicroG & CalendarSync need specific in-built permissions to be granted": CalendarSync (according to the list there) seems only relevant with Gapps, so I can ignore that. But what is expected to run for those "special grants" – or does your image already take care for that with regards to microG, as you list "MicroG-ified" with the "Rom features"? And by "MictoG-ified" you mean GmsCore incl. signature-spoofing and GsfProxy – so one would just need to add desired backends for UnifiedNlp?
And while you recommend SuperSu: Any hint on Magisk/MagiskSU? If that ROM comes without internal SU, I thought to give systemless-root a try (not that I had any issues with the other, no apps in use that could fail because of SafetyNet or the like – but AFAIK MagiskSU is completely open-source )
Oh: And does your TWRP build include MultiROM? Maybe I misunderstood what you wrote in this regard; did you mean: "Flash this TWRP with MultiROM, and then flash the MM ROM in parallel to your current LP to try it out"? I'm a bit confused now

-(Google)CalendarSync needs Calendar permission (check also native Calendar & CalendarStorage permissions)
-Spoof package Signature in all permissions section needs: on for microG services app. (this is the buit-in secure Marvin ROM patch).
-Latest microG app 2.4.9x needs registration activated in microG_app/menu for official Playstore (?) and could needs one reboot.
SuperSU works fine and always has real better efficient security checks (thx Chainfire).
Warning: on all MM &N, if you have wifi extender on same general router, switching from extender wep, to general router wep won't allow you to come back to extender connection (infinite waiting). I checked that on both p880 & Asus_tf700 and I'm 99% sure it's not kernel (works ok with same kernel on L with both p880 & tf700, or other modern devices with MM or N), neither rom or device tree: probable missing vendor location normalization (check post#5), since MM new policy. Also audio/music is not as cleared than my latest cm12.1
The working trick is to use multirom: forget wifi router on MM &N, reboot to L KK or even lgJB and switch twice, then reboot to MM and open wifi extender wep.
Latest multirom : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=146943
One more question. I didn't find a "performance" option in "settings", like on CM13. And in statistics of BetterBattery I saw 1500 as maximum frequency of CPU. Is it possible to rise up a frequency to 1700 on this ROM and how (by system settings, not by App's)?
As this wasn't answered yet: If I got that right, other than CM, LOS does NOT ship with any superuser built-in. So did anyone try the ROM with Magisk and MagiskSU? For one, that'd be a FOSS solution, and then there are several nice features it offers. So my thoughts were whether it would be worth a try when "starting from the scratch" anyway.

Thanks for updating the initial post! Could you include some details on the quoted line, maybe in the "spoiler section"? Especially for the microG part. Again: I understand correctly that "MicroG-ified" just refers to the signature patch, but one would need to install the framework separately? Must be so as otherwise one couldn't flash Gapps, I guess
And one more question: When you finally update the first post with the TWRP stuff you've planned for it (especially which TWRP version [link] you recommend), I'm still confused on the MultiROM part. I've never used that. So: Does your TWRP build already include MultiROM? If not, in which step must MultiROM [link] be flashed? And if I have your LP build running before I start the procedure on MM, can I then simply install this LOS build as second ROM, keeping LP as first?
(Sorry for delay: broken computer os)

No our aosp/cm kernel does not support, personally I even go for ondemand governor.
Everything can be set with KernelAdiutor or similar control/performance app.

I use microG+Playstore (Cal_sync)+embedded email and NO GoogleSearch or others; if you need Gmail.app, imho, it's better to use normal Gapp for battery and performance.
Concerning Multirom you can use latest
twrp for all flash operations : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862714405
multirom.zip which patch first rom boot.img with menu selection (& all adb operations) https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634757304
All my kernels are kexeced https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kexec
You can use Cyospak on top of aosp7 (but primary rom only) and get all your roms (KK L MM) on secondary or even use a boot.img only on primary . I usually use primary for rom testing because flashing via twrp is much faster on primary vs 2nd. Then when I need access to 2nd, I just flash multirom.zip ; once done you have 3 diff linux : twrp + multirom stand-by + rom (+all 2nd). It can be useful to keep secure f2fs/data (wip) on one rom only.
Try to flash rom with no more update on 2nd. I will update more explanation...

Thanks for your reply. I think your opinion about customization of the performance (and others too) is correct. Of course, KernelAdiutor is quite convenient to use and will satisfy most of the needs in the configuration. Never had problems with using it.
hi guys, noob here

i used third party apps to boot to twrp but now they request for root access which i dont have

Magisk is really useful for modern devices to provide SafetyNet : using it with Oneplus5, Google always fight to broke it every week (AndroidPay) and when you loose Magisk, you loose all your setups; thus, imho ,SuperSu provides a much stable & secure with old p880 regular/system. But you should try installing csk1jw's ('pure') AOSP as primary rom, without Gapps, and with Magisk + MicroGNanomod https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-nanomod-5-0-20170405-microg-t3584928
Then flash kexeced Cyospak to access Multirom with los13 & others as secondary. I didn't have much time, but I will try this soon; for now I have los13 on primary due to fastest flash time (vs 2nd slots).
Will update los13 on next August Cve upgrade.

Fist, if you were using SuperSu before, try easy install back SuperSu.apk only ( and check binaries).
Otherwise
-PowerOff : press [Volume Down & Power Button] until logo
or (check Developer Options)
-USB/adb : adb shell setup-recovery + adb reboot
BTW , reboot to recovery is included via AdvancedReboot option , (check Developer Options)

Coming with MM (& N), are dynamic permissions, and so is build MicroG: if you don't grant permission explicitly, security won't allow signature faking; and CalendarSync needs Calendar permission. I will post attached screenshot very soon.
Concerning Multirom, I will update the dedicated thread with more info, but the whole thing is open source (from the beginning) : https://github.com/Tasssadar/multirom/wiki/Introduction

After booting your phone for the first time, download the gapps package and push it to /sdcard using adb (or MTP):
adb push gapps_50_yuga_004-00cb.tgz /sdcard/
adb reboot
Your phone will now reboot and automatically install gapps during the boot process. (note that your phone will reboot twice - this is normal).
recommend to keep the gapps package in /sdcard/ after the installation finished: Upgrading to a new release will erase your existing gapps installation - but if the package is still present in /sdcard/, it will be automatically installed during the first boot.

Thank you for your effort Looking forward to testing this ROM upon upload. And i know it sounds silly, but an english version will be uploaded right???
I've been checking XDA like 10 times a day for the past two weeks hoping for this, and now it's finally here!!! You sir, deserve a medal.
I have a question, and I'm not sure if it's supposed to go here or the Q&A thread, since it's not specifically related to this ROM, per se. I just want to know how you built this; where did you get the device tree/binaries (not really sure what I'm talking about here, I've only read the building tutorials, don't really understand them fully)? AFAIK, Sony hasn't released them for the ZR, so how'd you do it? Is there some way to port them from other devices or something? Even a reference point to start searching would be great.
Thank you for your work!
P.S. Also, does this question belong in the Q&A thread or not?
Even i was wondering, but i thought perhaps it's only right to give the dev some time to upload the full details

I have no time to develop, rom not work on all ZR-s - need additional kernel developing?(on many ZR models this rom work(on 2 phones work normal now), on other not (on my zr not work properly - mixed image on screen))
Now i have:
Kernel w twrp recovery - https://yadi.sk/d/WJw4gqmqcnLWd
SystemImage (from sony z, need add camera libs in vendor folder and some in etc/firmware and fix sensors.conf - from .283 stock firmware) - https://yadi.sk/d/S0Bh4H8gcmqRv
Xperia ZR specified files - https://yadi.sk/d/VZ8whMhccoCnt - zr camera libs, sensors.conf etc, you can install it via twrp recovery
Installing:
flash via fastboot or flashtool (in fastboot mode) boot and system images
test
Root - flash latest supersu via twrp recovery http://download.chainfire.eu/593/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.19.zip

Um. So that means right now, it's a list of separate files??? Anyway awesome work.
P.S Sorry abt quoting the whole post, i hate that. But my comment wouldn't make any sense then
Awsome
Everything working fine. Just like stable daily driver rom. Can't say about battery right now.
The only thing missing is root because SuperSU 2.23 dosen't seem to work. I think some kernel modifications will be needed for proper execution of SU binary
BTW Thanks alot .

RIL works ????? ( Are you able to make calls and receive calls and send messages etc ?)
If you are using this as daily driver then try testing bluetooth, wifi, RIL, mobile internet (2g+3g), camera etc......
I would definitely do all this on weekend....
@Xenius :- HATS OFF MAN.......... Even if it just boots, I would say that it's sheer genius..........

Bluetooth is fine except I cannot accept or share file with apk extension
WiFi also seems to be fine till now and yes I can make calls, messages, and can connect to data network.
Camera quality is accepteble (photo preview is kind of buggy )
Till now what I cannot test its GPS as I don't use it. but can provide logcat if anyone wants
Edit: At latest lollipop release for xperia Z (18 November), RIL is broken, atleast in ZR with this kernel, don't know about Z
maybe kernel update will fix this

Thanks for the gapps link. Holidays inbetween so it aint a prob for the exams. Downloading the image right now, will try out the bluetooth and see if i too get the same issue
Xenius you are genius. Booted and running smoothly without any FCs.
Sent from my Lollipop for ZR using XDA Free mobile app

I am having trouble downloading from playstore after flashing gapps.. As there isn't a file manager preinstalled, I'm trying to download one, so that i can get back my old apps which are backed up in the SD card. Anyone else has the same issue abt the play store?
P.S I found out the problem. My Gmail wasn't synced so my account wasn't fully functional. Never mind

Not so familiar with the adb codes, i've never felt the need to use them. Is the kernel fully permissive? I'd like to know if i can run Viper4android on it.

I'm definitely going to. But why i asked is, cause they were mentioning about permissive kernels. So i thought i'd ask you about that.
And i forgot to ask. The exclamatory symbol on the signal icon ? Why is it coming?? Is it indicating any issue???
October 17. Rom fixed: boots and works fine on Xperia Z3, which is like Z2 a Shinano device.
This is the Official Jaguar rom for Honami, which is based on AOSP with some flavors from Slim and Dirtyunicorn. The main difference from other roms is the emphasis on security and multiple features. With that in mind , let's see what Jaguar has to offer:
1. Hardened Kernel, modified M5; hardened rom built with HYPERTOOL 5.4
2. All ciphers enabled in kernel instead of just a few
3. Hardened/Fortified Bionic and Libs
4. Fstack protection strong to resist buffer overflows
5. Many System apps and processes are made read-only, to reduce elevation of privilege
6. Selinux replaced with Tomoyo Security, Yam security
7. Disc encryption, keymaster to 256 bit AES instead of 128
8. Latest TWRP with working brightness and ability to decrypt Data
9. Random number generation mixed hardware/software, as recommended by Linus Torwalds
10. Options to randomize host on every boot
11. Option to have a separate password for lock screen and boot
12. Qualcomm's Time Services disabled due to leaking on early boot (set time to automatic to get it from your carrier). Forget it. Jaguar now has Sony TimeKeep ported from MM/Nougat that sets the correct time locally without the internet or GSM signal. So, even if you are in Airplane mode, the time will be right on each reboot. All you need to do is to set it right once on a live device
13. WIFI Background Scanning disabled to prevent leaking
14. Internet disabled for both WIFI and Data until Afwall is set and activiated (Afwall included in download, install as regular app)
15. The phone is VOLTE ready and you have all network options available in Cell menu (not just LTE/WCDMA/GSM)
16. GRsecurity features, such as Sidechannel implemented
17. Some Pax Security Features
18. Option to deny USB connection: denied always; denied when locked; and allowed always
19. Hardened webview with Google and other "interesting" IPs removed
20. Prevention of bruteforcing screen pin: the phone will reboot upon 3 unsuccessful attempts
21. Perfect_Event_Paranoid ported from Grsecurity: now third party apps can't use other apps including system to elevate privileges
22. Camera hardware button works to focus, take pictures and start video recording
23. Option to disable writing to Tombstones (a lot of private info is dumped there if there is a crash)
24. Option to disable continuing writing of logcat
25. Option to disable device cameras: back; front, both or none
26. Always latest Google Security Patches
27. Always latest Code Aurora Security Patches
28. Changes ported directly from Google Android Gerrit, so most of those in MM and even N are in this rom
29. About 80% of kernel changes are ported into Jaguar kernel from 3.10 and 3.18 (not Sony AOSP 3.10 that has Down Syndrome, but Linux/Google/Code Aurora one)
30. Rom is odexed to significantly increase boot speed (under 30 seconds) and application start
31. DNS_Crypt that gives you a native option to have numerous Dns providers all encrypted (in Settings/Security
32. Seccomp/secure computing implemented and enabled in kernel
31. Many more security features ported from Linux and Copperhead OS
Other features include: Layers Theme Engine; Native Call Recording with interface integrated in Dialer with no restrictions; Privacy Guard; Native Wakelock Blocker; Native Black List; Global Menu; Slim Recents; Traffic Indicators; Advanced Reboot; Slim Pie; CPU Info on Screen; Ram Bar in Recents; Open Source Superuser included and integrated in Settings; True Offline Charging with Screen Off; Kernel Adiutor included (unzip and install as a normal app) and integrated in Settings; FM Radio and Recording plus more
Things users need to know to have smooth experience:. These are not bugs, but rather an explanation of some features
1. If you want to do data encryption, keep in mind that unlike Android, Jaguar uses 256 bit encryption. If you were encrypted on other roms, you won't be able to decrypt. So, wipe encryption and then re-encrypt on Jaguar. Also, keep in mind that if you ever did factory reset on official TWRP 3+ for honami, your data partition is screwed and have to be resized to enable encryption. This has nothing to do with the rom, but rather with the official TWRP itself. Fastboot my unofficial TWRP 3.0.2, which, by the way has working brightness, as well as ability to decrypt and mount data
2. Jaguar contains a script running on early boot, which cuts the internet access to both WIFI and Data until Afwall is running. This is done to prevent leaking, as well as having all your internet traffic routed through some interesting number of servers, including this IP: 26.147.196.22. So, install Afwall and activate it, otherwise, no Internet for you
3. If your system language is different from English and you want to make changes in Phone/Cell Network settings, switch to English first, make the changes and then return to your language. The changes you made will hold. If you try to make the changes in your language, you will have com.android.phone crash. Localization takes time and is virtually impossible to implement in Jaguar, which is a one-person-rom
4. Sony TimeKeep, which is ported from MM/N, now sets the correct time on reboot without the Internet or GSM signal. All you need to do is set it once and TimeKeep will save/recalculate/restore the same on each reboot
5. GAPPS: if you use them, you need to flash them right after the rom (or each update) and before reboot. Flashing after reboot will result in multiple f/c
6. Due to Volte implementation, you will need to flash (one time only) stock LP or MM baseband, but only if you have no GSM signal
Download: All updates and change logs are in Post #3
Instructions:
1. Be on LP, Have TWRP (fastboot my unofficial version), unlocked bootloader and root
2. In TWRP, wipe data/factory reset, then wipe System/Data/Cache/Dalvik
3. Flash the rom
4. If you use xposed, flash the latest installer
5. Reboot, install Afwall and Kernel Adiutor as normal apps; activate Afwall to have Internet
6. Enjoy the rom, say thank you, donate or do both
Warning: If your device and/or anyone in the immediate vicinity dies, don't blame me: it is all China and Russia's fault.

Development update as of February 16 and some Screenshots
February 16: I broke my Z1 screen again and am not in the mood for after market screens. And I am sick and tired of Sony crappy treatment of development community.
I am now looking at Lenovo Zuk Z2 or Z2 pro. Both excellent phones with the latest CPU and made out of metal and glass by Motorola which they bought from Google a couple of years ago. Zuk is friendly to developers and their blobs don't dumb down camera and they don't seek to "unify" bugs for all their devices. I no longer wish to support a fat bastard corporation that can't make a good phone, but thinks that just by putting their logo on the phone would make it worth $700.
RE Jaguar. I will continue to maintain Jaguar mainly with security patches... for a while, but my main work will be concentrated on Zuk. There is a lot of work to be done cleaning Android N and implementing security and other features from Jaguar...

The issue on Shinano was that kernel compiled with UBERTC 5 and higher wouldn't simply boot...
I have now published a fully working Jaguar for Z3 and Z3c...

Wouldnt flashing shinano rom hard-brick sirius?

Oh, please. Both Z2 and Z3 use shinano platform, but the roms are different for each device. This one is made specifically for Z2-Sirius... So, you won't brick your device if you flash it...

FOR OUR DEDICATED STOCK USERS :cyclops:
A bit later then sheduled but as promised i made an new AROMA ROM based on the A2017G-N-B09 stock version. Like the other slim roms it’s just based on stock with some additions and option to debloat further.
Futhermore i added the JOJOC Battery Tweak in options that focuses on improved battery performance. I first used it in my MiFavor5.0 rom and gave me and other users some pretty amazing SOT. So therefore i implemented it here too and it gave me an average of +7h SOT.
It’s fully functional and tested a lot. Smooth, no bugs. Magisk/SuperSU fully running without issues.
Hope you’ll E N J O Y !!!
Based on :
A2017G N-B09 STOCK ROM
INSTALL : ( TWRP )
When you're on another ROM, stock (or even on B05-slim,B06-slim² or B08…) and you want a clean install just follow this procedure :
Other models like A2017 and A2017U can flash this too. Only use Universal BL & your specific MODEM ! : https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=148464
0. In case you want to reflash your own apps, backup your personal apps with f.e. TB, ZipMe... (or whatever)
1. Make a full backup of your current device in TWRP ! (use it to RESTORE if necessary) DON’T FORGET !
2. Wipe cache / dalvik / data / system
3a For G version flash : A2017G-N-B09-bootstack : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329066133
3b For U and CN version flash Universal BL+your MODEM : https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=148464 ! Don't forget to flash twrp 3.1.1.0 or 3.2.1.0 afterwards !
4. Install : AROMA A2017(G/U/CN) SL!M➃ DF!NR : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=818070582850486694
5. Choose your stuff to add or debloat, let it RUN and reboot, wait…a minute…or 2…
6. Done ! No more no less
AFTER INSTALL :
1. Go into Adaway/give root permission/download files etc. and update DONE!
2. Go into PlayStore/settings and check “no auto updates” ! Otherwise the Youtube app will update again to that TERRIBLE ANNOYING ADD state!
3. Check with f.e. Kernel Adiutor, when you added JoJoc Tweak, if it’s running ok and see if values are matching like here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74752134&postcount=39
3a. When on SuperSU, the JoJoc Tweak is enabled by default. So no worries.
3b. When on Magisk, just reboot into TWRP and flash the Magisk init.d enabler : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=889964283620770880 and reboot. Check values whether tweak is running but it will
4. Enable/update google assistent if you want

Strange, flash went flawless on my device, even after MiFavor 5.0 and so on. It's actually like the other slim roms i uploaded...
Perhaps other users can comment if flash was succesfull or not.
I don't see , except when the upload has an error, why it shouldn't boot properly.
As this rom is downloaded 50 times already , i think the problem should have been general but it isn't. .
EDIT : as @mario32 reported it boots ok.
So perhaps flash universal B15 + proper modem. Even try TWRP 3.2.1.0
But as said, it should boot properly. There's no special things added to this one as not to boot ok imo.

Wait, to install this on an U or CH you have to flash the B09 bootstack?
Maybe it'd be best to try flashing the Universal B32 bootstack on the U's (or at least the older B15). I don't know if it would work though
I'm assuming that it works on the chinese because of the report above

For G just the B09 bootstack

I really don´t know where is problem with my AXON, your SLIM B13 booting without any problem, but this ...I tried univer B15, modem, your 09 bootstack....without change. After that tried again WIPE dalvik/cache...but still same...

Anyways, OP updated for the record:good:
Looking good man, thanks for providing to the community.
Now everything works fine except one thing - I can't end phonecalls
Hi @raystef66, thanks for this great upgrade. ROM is even smoother than before. I love it. No issues with installing it on my A2017 4/128, after I flashed universal BL&Ch-modem. Baseband upgrated, radio improved.
Two things to report after a half day of intensive use:
1. Settings FC, whenever I klick advanced settings/storage. Known issue or shall I log it.
2. I can't apply the jojoc tweaks. I tried it several times, no way. Any advice before I just do it digit by digit?

Hi @raystef66, thanks for this great upgrade. ROM is even smoother than before. I love it. No issues with installing it on my A2017 4/128, after I flashed universal BL&Ch-modem. Baseband upgrated, radio improved.
Two things to report after a half day of intensive use:
1. Settings FC, whenever I klick advanced settings/storage. Known issue or shall I log it.

THNX !
I'am running it now for a month and it's indeed smooth and good battery life.
Now to your issues :
1. i dont have had any issues when entering advanced/storage. Does it FC always ? Perhaps its because the G version is a 64GB and yours 128GB. Perhaps there's a mismatch ? @mario32 : you have a 128GB too ? Do you have FC on advanced settings / storage ?
2. You're running SuperSU or Magisk ? Either way, check if EXKernelmanager has permissions. On SuperSU all should work ok after reboot. On Magisk you'll have to enable it first via flashing my zip or with the init'd enabler in Magisk.

FOR OUR DEDICATED STOCK USERS
Made an new AROMA ROM based on the A2017G-N-B12 stock version. Like the other slim roms it’s just based on stock with some additions and option to debloat further. You can add the JOJOC Battery Tweak later on (as it gave me some troubles to implement on boot) that focuses on improved battery performance. I
It’s fully functional and tested (not on battery SOT). Smooth, no bugs. Magisk/SuperSU fully running without issues.
Hope you’ll E N J O Y !!!
Based on :
A2017G N-B12 STOCK ROM
INSTALL : ( TWRP )
When you're on another ROM, stock (or even on B05-slim,B06-slim² or B08…) and you want a clean install just follow this procedure :
Other models like A2017 and A2017U can flash this too. Only use Universal BL & your specific MODEM ! : https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=148464
IMPORTANT !!! When coming from a (treble) rom or Oreo rom beware you'll loose your data because you have to revert back to Nougat by wiping/format. When you're on STOCK rom and twrp3210 (or latest) move on to 'FLASH'
For now I'm using the 'old' school method (not yet the Labs Mod).
So follow this to prepare on 'FLASH' :
1. Boot into your twrp (let's say you're on twrp3218treble)
1a. Wipe system/vendor/data/cache/dalvik
2. Flash official twrp3.2.1.0 (or latest) and reboot into recovery AGAIN (not into system !)
3. You will see you have to “cancel” and swype and you’ll have to format again
4. Wipe : /advanced/wipe/choose data/change filesystem to EXT4
5. Then go into wipe : wipe system/data/cache/dalvik to be sure
6. continue with 3a below and so on....
FLASH :
3a For G version flash : A2017G-N-B12-bootstack : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262903993157
3b For U and CN version flash Universal BL+your MODEM : https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=148464 ! Don't forget to flash twrp 3.2.1.0 afterwards !
4. Install : AROMA A2017X SL!M➅ DF!NR : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262904005937
5. Choose your stuff to add or debloat, let it RUN and reboot, wait…a minute…
6. Done ! No more no less
AFTER INSTALL :
0. Use Jojoc Tweak for best battery result :
A2017X_JojocV2_SuperSU : flash in twrp
A2017X_Jojoc_magiskmodule_v2.1: flash in MagiskManager
A2017X_Jojoc_magiskmodule_v3.2: flash in MagiskManager
1. Go into Adaway/give root permission/download files etc. and update DONE!
2. Go into PlayStore/settings and check “no auto updates” ! Otherwise the Youtube app will update again to that TERRIBLE ANNOYING ADD state!
3. Check with f.e. Kernel Adiutor, when you added JoJoc Tweak, if it’s running ok and see if values are matching like here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75431784&postcount=2
4. If choosen Magisk leave it as Magisk 16.7 (other ones bootloop as known)

Preferable would be a clean flash though.
You can try but the aroma setup and endresult might differ although the initial aroma layout is quite the same.
The Jojoc module/zip has to be fashed afterwards now when you want to apply.
Do take a full twrp backup of your existing rom. You can always revert back
Many thanks for this! I decided to move over to LG V30 but want to put the Axon7 back to rooted stock & give to my wife.
hide bootloader msg zip problem
Since I'm planning on handing this over to my wife, who like things "simple" thought I would try your zip to hide the BL message at boot, flashed the zip , but it show ZTE boot screen twice, then goes right back into recovery. Any easy way to uninstall the zip, or do I need a complete do over?
thank you!

Actually yes, before I flashed the BL zip I uninstalled Magisk using uninstall zip & reinstalled 17.1, then the BL zip.
Ended up starting over, realized during Aroma that I had uninstalled apps I wanted to keep! (lol better learn to read some day)
Still not sure why BL didn't work , as I'm on a A2017G like you.
Noticed that DTTO isn't working. Is that a setting somewhere or is it actually like that always? Been a while since on stock ROM...
Thanks for the rom. Will flash it the next days. <3

Hi !
Thx for this ROM. I was using B10 slim for a long time and decided to flash this over. So far I don't see much difference besides the
security level (which is good, B10 was a great ROM).

Hmm, I'm hitting the same snag on B12 that I did on B10 months ago. Trying to enter/use Personal Dictionary just won't work. Crashes settings. Been a long time so I forgot if a reason for that behavior is known.
LG G3 D851, PAC-MAN LP ROM, MultiROM, XDA Legacy
Hit another snag. Wanted to use Button Mapper which requires Accessibility. Any attempt at enabling Accessibility (for any app) causes the ROM to restart.
I'll grab logs later if needed.
Moto G5S Plus XT1806, Lluvia OS v1.4-NATURMADE, MultiROM, XDA Legacy

Hi Marc, can you flash this as a test to your PD.
As foor the ButtonMapper someone should test this (as I'm not on this one atm). Did the BM worked on G-B10 ?
What you also could do is flash the EDL G-B12 and see what happens related to the BM.

Thanks. That zip worked perfectly. I can now go into and edit the dictionary. ?
Apologies for being unclear. No issue with Button Mapper. I'm unable to activate accessibility service for any app that may require it (BM, Greenify, etc).
First one selects the app and flip the on/off toggle at upper right. Confirmation dialog pops up detailing the services needed. When selecting OK the ROM soft reboots.
Could be a "just me" thing. ?
Can someone grab the dolby from this link? https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=778560&st=2840#entry76984514
Welcome to Formula Performante...
Hey there fellow Tab S2 user! So... your wondering what this ROM is huh? This ROM is the fruit of my labour, after many many hours of work, research etc. This ROM is genuinely the lightest stock based ROM, in all of the Tab S2 ROM era. The ROM weighs just 675 MB, its RAM usage only 1.0-1.1 GB and its fluidity and speed is unmatched, since any and all modifications have been directed towards only enhancing performance and battery life. So, what does this ROM pack? Here's a list:
Features:
1. Extraordinarily Light Operating System with a very deep debloat
2. Google Apps Removed while still maintaining SafetyNet
3. Latest @engine95 Kernel with Enforcing and far more superior RAM Management
4. Updated SoundAlive with slightly modified Volume Increases
5. Every App has been replaced by the lightest equivalent (For e.g, for the Music App, I checked RAM management of Google Play Music and Eleven Music (Cyangogenmod) and found that Eleven Music used 50 MB of RAM lesser than GPM, so I used that. This should give you an idea of how much research and time it took to find the lightest variant of most stock apps)
6. S8 Camera UI with FHD 60FPS,Tracking AF and Standard Improved Autofocus. Other than these improvements, the camera app was debloated as well, and any useless modes were terminated and rooted out.
7. Completely De-knoxed
8. Magisk Pre-Installed
9. Most Extra RAM and Battery Consuming features have been terminated
10. Device Maintenance switched out for Files GO and SystemUI Tuner (To view battery stats, pull down quick settings (notification panel), click on the top right corner (three dots),button order and place the battery icon and storage icon into the quick settings panel.
11. Mtweaks 13.0 Installed for better kernel control, including GPU control.
12. AOSP Sounds instead of Sammy Sounds.
13. Few build prop tweaks for minor performance gains.
Bugs:
Music will crash on first boot
Do not update Magisk, its 17.1 and has to stay that way to work! New versions of Magisk aren't compatible with out current kernel and will just kill boot!
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Wipe DATA,SYSTEM,DALVIK CACHE and CACHE
2. Flash The ROM
3. Realize you enjoy the ROM and hit Thanks :good:
-- NOTE: This ROM is heavily debloated. It's weight alone should classify how much has been removed. Please check comments before installing to see if theres any problems.

Thanks. Just installed it.
First impressions:
Starting with "Music has stopped". Oops.
Upgrading Magisk Manager results in error, because Magisk version lower than v18.0 not supported. You should mention this. So no updated version of Magisk possible here (from 17.1 to 18.1)? Oops
its fast, really fast. Wow
more to follow, will just reinstall everything to get Magisk to work.

Oh yeah, thanks for reminder. OP updated
You should explain why it isn't possible to update to the newest version of Magisk. It isn't so nice installing a new ROM with an old version of root and no chance to fix this.
Update:
Removed the ROM. Titanium Backup crashes immediately. So unusable for me.

He explained why...upgraded versions of magisk are not compatible with the custom kernel he used inside the rom. Possibly if the kernel gets some updates we'll get magisk updated support too.
Btw idk why Titanium crashes...will test tonight if happens with me too. Dumb tought: maybe it uses some gapp related services to work and then it crashes because thei're missing? That sound stupid i know...
For the Dev:
It's possible to install gapps (bare minimum as play store and play services) or MicroGapps in this rom? Just in case i wont rely on Fdroid or other thirdy part stores. Thank you

Ok so Titanium backup, is related with the kernel being enforcing. Titanium require permissive which I didn't release due to the many security holes it usually poses. Oh and about Gapps, don't flash.
Updated Magisk 17.3 and up, (18.0, 18.1) compatible kernel is here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79164496&postcount=42
Enjoy
Can't enable any Accessibility Services telling that the text to speech language is not supported and when i tries to force itself to change it to english it restarts.
Thanks
core issue imo is that the calling app dialer does not show up during a call-no call ui (call received but no way to accept it) if there was a way to go back to stock dialer and messages this ROM would have been perfect. too bad all in the past now.
For me, after some finetuning, this is the best, fastest and most stable and compatible custom ROM ever for the SM-T715. Thank you Skulldron!
My finetuning after flashing the ROM (TWRP is clearly a requirement):
1) flash new Kernel v1.4
2) flash Magisk v.21.4 (the last one before Magisk (with v.22.0) became an "App", bundeled with the Magisk Manager )
3) install MagiskManager-v8.0.7.apk (The last separate Version of the Magisk Manager before it became a bundle with Magisk)
4) install newest Open Gapps for Arm 7.0 ("Micro" bundle in my case, because I need Exchange support that seems only to come with GMail) choose the one for your needs if you need: open gapps 7.0 arm
5) install Magisk Module "Google Dialer Framework" via Magisk Manager
6) install Google Phone (The offical Google dialer app shows a "device not supported" message but works fine with the Performante Rom. If you don´t like the error message, try another dialer app)
7) install Google contacts (The offical Google contacts app that works fine with the Performante Rom)
That´s the good and stable working basis installation for me. I do not need any google account and use sources like F-Droid, uptodown or the A**zon appstore for some charged applications i need (like Business Calendar, Mobile Doc Scanner...)
Based on you description I reinstalled this one because all other custom roms result in reboots, looping etc.
- Installed stock Gapps (Micro wasn't even available for 7.0)
- the newest kernel 1.6.1
- can use phone and contacts without warnings and problems
- upgraded to lastest magisk version, get warning about system app etc (seems a known problem right now, so I'll wait). But root works
- Netflix, Prime working, Disney with error 39
- fast!
-------------------------
Very good until now. Have to wait a few days and see if the reboots/boot loops etc are gone.
-------------------------
I'll use it only inhouse (since yesterday we have a Galaxy Tab S7+ as primary tablet, but: I can't use it because my daughert occupies it constantly!). Maybe this old and slim rom will give the S2 a new life.
@photona: Thanks for your post. Without it I never would have tried this one again. Sadly Skulldron was last online some months ago...

I don't use webview, so: no.
cant believe i haven't tried this before. made this ancient tablet very useable. I wish they still made tablets this size, this thin and light with such good screens. its perfect if you want to read the news or surf social media, want something bigger than your phone but not a monster tablet like most these days
Been using for a couple of days now and it is the best rom by far for everyhting, tried lineage android 10 and 11, both of them make the tab run very hot in games and after a few mins the graphics glitch so bad it is unplayable.
This rom however, the games run great and the tab only gets warm. Also battery usage is superior to all other roms ive tried.
Thank you for your hard work.
Glad to see the link still works, shame this was the last rom ive tried, the last happens to be the best
